Tesni nodded, she had seen a figure beckoning her to another part of the hall, but she decided to catch up with her friend first. "We were magiced small for our quest, it had some strange effects on us, sadly there was also a band of Orcish mercenaries. They fell easily to Cysgodion but some had tricks up their sleeves. The darkness in all Brothers was complex in this quest." She fell silent a moment. "We saved the children though, and claimed our rewards."

Hurrah! This all looks very exciting and I am still stuck over Battle Mage or Berserker, two classes that can suit my character. I will ponder this and return to advance my class!

Tesni smirked at the antics and moved away from the etheral bulter, the magics of Cysgodion did not get along with the magics of Althior's manservant. "Tarn, hello, How was your quest?" OoC: The purple text indicates a different than normal tone under Tesni's regular voice

Tesni sat at a table near Althior. Prodding the blue butler. "Althior, are you alright?" Tesni asked, slightly concerned that her Cysgodion was mixing into Finnegan, turning him lilac...

Tesni walked into the hall. It was clear from her stance, the purple glow in her eye and not to mention the purple aura, barely visible and writhing around sword and wielder that things had changed. "Hail all!" Tesni called, incase some of her friends were present.

Bidding farewell to the Orc group, Tesni patiently waited for Haldor, she did not want to get to the hall before him else she might just say too much to Jess... He seemed to be taking a while and Tesni was beginning to wonder if a swift kick to the seat of his pants was in order.

Tesni took his hand "You all fought a hard battle, and your mage reminded me of the earths strenght." Tesni laughed ruefully. "I hope you do rescue your kinfolk."

"Thank you, a good reputation with one of the powerful houses is very valuable." Tesni took the gold and handed out 200 each. Turning to Mrs Szalinski Tesni inclined her head slighty in a polite bow "Madame, your husband was working while the children played when a great beast happened upon your garden! He made haste to the Heroica Hall to hire some heroes to defeat the great beast, held at this point only by his great ingenuity. We have just now defeated it, much to your children's delight at such an exciting diversion." She turned slightly and winked to Mr Szalinski and the children. "Alas, now we must return to our hall and await further adventure." She bid the gnomewife good day and headed off in search of the Orcs. Catching up she called "Just tell Heroica, many heroes do not want gold, just adventure, a Quest to free your family sounds both worthy and exciting. I am sure many will wish to help, I would too if no other quest has taken me from the Hall."

"Of course you can have the paper doll. Hoke, Ellaria would you like a dagger each?"

"As I said, 100 gold each, we leave the rest with our former foes. The Paper Doll and the two Daggers are still up for grabs."

Tesni took the rest of the oatmeal cookie pie, "Here, have some more, we got plenty from the pie."

The battle rage subsided and Tesni regarded their broken foes sadly, the evils of the world often came disguised by light and her own teams dark actions, though necessary, had not been enjoyable. “Who could use the daggers? As for the gold, I am more inclined to take a share and leave the difference with the orcs. I wish to dispatch the followers of Ennoc who drove them to these ends.” Tesni felt a new power growing within, somewhat akin to the time she first lifted Cryfder and decided that a heroes path was to be her own...

"Hoke! Aim for the Demolitionist!"

I love writing but I have to admit that Tesni's path was somewhat simplistic with some of the usual cliches and tropes to go along. The sword has given me the perfect opportunity to not only take her in a much more interesting direction, but to provide resolution to the character's history and future in a much more interesting and satisfactory way. Thanks for handing me the opportunity. To all y'all out there, isn't it good that PvP is not a common thread, else I'd be kicking all y'all butts!

I am currently developing a philosophy of Darkness that will effect the future character of Tesni, so she would likely oppose Wren's Chaotic Darkness. Good times

I build a MOC and a story. They both develop at the same time. Then again I mostly build things, not buildings and scenes. My planes are all part of a wider conflict, my other MOCs are tiny examples of a whole universe I write. My only attmepts at scenery story telling are not the best, in fact they are a little more on the terrible side...

OoC: In that case The rejuvinating energies of the pheonix essence did their job, but the moments blackness had halted the effects of her mead and gumbo. Brushing the dust from her arms and shaking it from her hair, Tesni sighted the enemy once more. "Someone take out the rogue, we have Hoke's sheild blocking free hits, so focusing on some of the more bothersome fighters would work out best. Alexis, you take two targets, I will once again go for the Mage from the front row."

It had been a mighty hit, the berserker rage flowed freely, mingling with the purple darkness energies of Cysgodion and the aids she had drunk before battle. That was why the other attacks had caught her unawares. The darkness of a KO came again but she soon heard the sounds of her friends once again. Getting unsteadily to her feet and checking around, Tesni noticed that Alexis too had been knocked out but Hoke was ready with his shield, and empty Pheonix Essence close by. "Thanks for that." Ellaria was tending to Alexis and with the four of them using their battle turns up Haldor was the only one left. "Do you wish to do anything Haldor? Hoke is ready with his shield and we are all full health, we can wait it out and be ready for the next round of battle."
