Smiling grimly at her handywork, Tesni lifted Cysgodion once more and charged at Captain C.

Tesni roared her attack again, the little man would fall!

At the words from Wren Cysgodion flared angrily and an enraged Tesni headed towards Caravan Captain B. The first captains blood still slid down Cysgodion's blade, hissing into smoke as it reached the dark stone on the hilt. Growling in unearthly tones, sword and berserker were ready for more.

Yes, but this is my first action so I have to say what I am doing, if I get a KO in one hit I will once again declare my target and row. Once I get to an enemy that needs multi hits, I will again say what Tesni is doing, just to help the QM, after all they have to roll for a party, the enemies and pick out what is going on with each party member amongst chatter and potential moves/strategy.

Tesni roared and rushed at the Caravan Captain from the front row, knowing her faithful blade could make short work of her foe. "By the power of Cysgodion and the Hightribe!" she shouted. (OoC: As it seems a lot of actions happen in my sleep period of 11pm to 7am GMT, please direct Tesni wisely if needs must. I have two Pheonix Essence that can be used in a pinch and a 2x damage bonus with my Darkness element sword that means humans better watch out! I would appreciate being able to play but I do not want to slow you down too much, we can put silence down to the Berserker's way!)

Tesni clasped Cysgodion and surveyed her team mates. She had quested before with Jess and only recently returned from leading Hoke and Haldor to victory in a quest with many trials and strong foes, with Hoke having already fought hard alongside her within the Porthair Cavern. Dyric and Skrall were new to her, she had seen them at the hall and heard tell of their exploits. Skrall, it was rumoured, had failed in his quest in the employ of the City Guard, but scuttlebutt would have it that the Wolfgang left them be, so something was going on there... As for Dyric, he had fought beside Skrall, surely a fighter who could not pull his weight would have been called out by their party leader. Well, those two would have ample chance to demonstrate their skills soon. "To battle then?" Tesni asked, lifting her unfamiliar shield. It would certainly be of use, but it was a strange sensation to have something strapped to her usually free arm.

Ok guys on quest 19, you have heard the arguments now lets see what happens

The red makes a nice counterpoint to a lot of the details on the figure... I will dig out my box of shields

Anyone got any ideas for a good shiled for Tesni? I am not sure what shape or pattern to try. I would like an animal but then choosing my own removes potential development and character interaction it is better to wait around for a good "totem" animal to be assigned or what have you. Suggestions?

You either sign up to the ones left or you wait for someone to post a new quest that does not ask for high level players. You can play those you roleplay best in or you can wait around for something that looks the most fun. Think about what reputation the quest will give you, opposing families are outlined in the library.

Tesni had remained silent throughout (because Pepper was asleep!) there was a time and a place to be intimidating and now and here was not it. She nodded to Skrall as they left, "It is better for me to simply fight, no risk of the item being lost to use." She placed a hand on Cysgodion's hilt "We will take care of those soldiers, although I am concerned of their alliegences."

Waiting to see what happens this quest. And Sandy, I am writing a character on the fly, I want to make some plans to keep having fun and avoiding writing into a corner.

Tesni sat looking at Cysgodion's stone. The gem that provided the blade and herself with great power... What would they face in the coming quest? What path was her blade destined to lead her down?

Well, it's going to take me another 10 battles to hit level 20, then progression turns to a third or a quater? Regardless it will take a whole lot more to reach the next tenth level not to mention class progression hitting at different level marks. Should give you plenty of time to think of a new selection of classes. My questions are long runners: Does sticking to an advanced class have a payoff beyond equipment you can invest in? If I were to flip flop I would have quite a few weapons that would require good gold to keep at a decent power for my level, so as it stands I am only undecided between Battle Mage and Berserker, but Berserker is much better for my character. Anyway, what I really want to know is: Would future classes depend on which advanced class you stick too, or is it too confining?

Then Tesni looks over at the elf bothering her friends Haldor and Jess, one hand casually placed on a sword of darkness... Man, I got to remember which characters I have spoken too and stuff.

Tesni had spent the night in some troubling dreams, it seemed that Wren had riled up Cysgodion and it had been making itself known. Grabbing a bite to eat, she prepared for the coming day.

With the whispering Wren came an angry flare from Cysgodion. "That witch wiill feel the wrath of true darkness" Tesni said, an even more eerie than usual tone echoing under her own voice. OoC, I got a shield on the way.

Rushing through the marketplace, Tesni bought a Mockthril Shield (SP: 4, protective equipment, suitable for knights), the extra 50 gold from Jess would be helpful now... (180+50= 230 - 40 = 190.) and upgraded it there and then to SP:5 (190-50= 140).

Tesni had a lot of gold sat in her purse, deciding to shop before her quest she walked into the market. Stopping at Portia's she bought 2 Meads (2x10= 20. 480-20= 460) and 2 Nostrums (2x20+ 40. 460-40= 420). Pausing as she left, she decided to buy 1 Phoenix Essence (50, 420-50 = 370) At Anwyl's stall she upgraded Cysgodion to WP:10, (9x10= 90, 10x10=100 100+90= 190 370-190 = 180)

Tesni sat at a table, placing Cysgodion at her side. She settled in for a night of good ale and food before her next quest.

In search of her friends, Tesni entered the hall, as she passed the quest board she noted her name had been selected for a quest. "So I get to take down one who abuses the darkness..." Cysgodion thrummed, "Good, we shall see justice."

"Of course friend." Tesni grinned widely. "I will sell you this dagger for 50 gold" OOC: Forgot to update my gold, I should have +20 after selling two for 10. So 480, until Jess pays for the dagger and I make my purchases.

Tesni walked into the marketplace. She sold Training Spear (WP: 2), Training Morning Star (WP: 2) for 10 gold apiece. Then she announced to the others in the market " I have Mercutio's Dagger of Mugging (WP:5, Mug Ability +5) for sale. Does anyone have any offers?" She then started to browse the other stalls, considering what to buy for her new class.

Tesni had left the training room after a good session. She was confident in her new power and ready to go on a quest. Reading the board carefully she left her name against Quest 17 and Quest 19. The ocean was not a favoured place to a mountain girl.

Tesni walked through the door of the training room. The vetran looked impressive indeed, as did the stack of weapons and equipment. "Ave Copper Fox! I have considered my options, I wish to train as a Berserker!" Tesni Hightribe, Level 15 Berserker 22 years old female human Power: 23 Health: 31/31
