Rising from sleep Tesni stood, a few bone cracking stretches later and she was sat with the group awaiting the days action. "Cysgodion tells me there was trouble, it was certainly impressed with Vintul." She said in an aside to Hoke. "I would have assisted, that Dyric seems off," she whispered then shrugged, "when you fight hard you sleep harder."

Ralph S hit the nail on the head. All the Lego I buy is for building my own MOCs, the last licensed set I bought was the Knight Bus, for all the lovely purple parts.

Tesni bowed to her fellow questmates and bid them goodnight, creating a good area to sleep she settled down for the night.

Tesni looked at Haldor, "Yes, we gave them money. I pledged my help in rescuing their kin, I have no quarrel with victims of The Darkness Before Light. Those Blinded by Light are as bad as those in the thrall of the Corrupting Dark." She turned to the others, discussing the factories. "Those people are held against their will, forced into service to survive. I will do my best to rescue them from this fate." She said. Blinking rapidly and coughing to clear her throat "Now, Cariad Midhigh is ready to go out and inspect the next factory tomorrow!"

Tesni sat watching the shadows dance away from the fire, the ever present purple glow of Cysgodion weaved an intricate waltz through the projected flickers and her eye shone deeper purple. Listening to the story and the plans, the opinions and the situation she kept silent until now. "You are right friend; heroes are only heroes when they are victors. Their might makes them right and the right they fight for is the one with the gold at the end." She paused and looked around the group, "Some of us prefer to be moral while others will happily be swept into falsehoods and subterfuge as long as the gold is good." She pointed to herself and to Jess, "Before her adventure at the arena, we cleared a farm of monsters together, good and straightforward." This time she pointed to Hoke, "When Jess and I parted ways I went to some caves in a team with Hoke, we cleared the undead, brought back by their power to cause evil to the living." Cysgodion gleamed as she shifted the blade slightly, "There I earned my sword. After that we went to rescue some children but some Orc mercenaries opposed us, we both had the aim of saving the children but their pride stood in the way of alliance. Their cause was noble, to earn a ransom for their kin being held by a sect of Ennoc but still we fought them for the gold. Their betrayal and stubbornness made it greyer." She sighed and looked at the flames. "I fought for myself, not right, for my survival in battle, the children would have been rescued whoever 'won'. That was the shadows of fate." Taking a sip of water she sat silent for a moment. "It sounds like Wren is telling us her story, or just a story to confuse the shades. She did not count on someone guided by shadow, darkness with light. Light with darkness. The shadows of life."

What a lovely lift-arm on the wrecking ball crane. I can see a need for many of them for my Mount Justice/Batcave (I still cant decide on which to build ).

The only thing I do not like about Lisenced sets is the price... I got used to fleshtone figures, they are useful in a certain context (except the Clone Wars ones ) the many colours and parts introduced are always useful in my MOCing, the stickers are good too, if you like stickers.

Enraged that her target had fled the battle Tesni turned her attention to the minions. "Minion C will be destroyed!"

"FALL! PAWN OF CHAOS!" the black smoke was met by a flare of purple flames as Tesni once again sought to slay the beast. Cysgodion thrummed an even tone, placid rage was all one could sense from it.

Try not to hijack the game with it. You may have noticed that the whole sword possesion thing started off in a battle and carried on from there. The Sword accepting Tesni while another rejected Hoke in Tesni's second quest helped the idea of the sword acting through my character come to be. All other occurances of the sword acting/possessing/using Tesni moved with the flow of the game. They didn't make a bump in game progression. I coloured my text to add a visual cue that her voice is altered, it has darkened a shade now, in a quest where the antagonist is someone who uses a form of darkness the entity of Cysgodion disagrees with. I may or may not play more of my story into the game if a situation arises that I could, but I am not forcing it. I love to write and this game is giving me plenty of chances to work off others and develop a character in someone elses sandbox

Darkness and Light need each other to exist. Nothing can be seen in all Light nor all Darkness, the shadows define our world...

The beast had knocked her to the ground! Picking herself and her sword up Tesni charged once more at the creature.

Sorter beware, resealable bags are the devil's own! A year or so after sorting and I am prepping to start all over again due to the bags splitting, spilling and breaking up Boxes are the way forward!

The chaos beast was a fearsome sight but Tesni was unafraid, Cysgodion was at an advantage here. The beast would fall! Tired of surpressing the power that surged from the blade... "I target the Chaos Beast from the Front Row!" she yelled before jumping into the fray. "Corrupting Darkness will be DEFEATED!"

Tesni discreetly coughed a whisp of dark purple smoke into her hand as she surveyed the room. This place was disagreeing with Cysgodion, but Cariad Midhigh was a noblewoman's personal guard, not a berserker on a warpath. "I believe these spoils would better serve you other fellows." She said politely. "I was well furnished by her ladyships father before I left on this new path. However a potion often becomes helpful." Drawing closer to 'Cronk' and 'Cromwell' she whispered. "Felton seems to be acting strangely, do you others think he is on our side?" A purple flash crackled under her eyepatch, holding in the power was tough...

Heh, thanks. I love writing and Tesni is great fun to develop. Let's just say I have some strange philosophical meanderings about darkness (I was always a rather macabre child and I never outgrew it) and one darkness weilding unsuccessful questor has a surprise coming their way... Plus there is a lot of development still on the backburner.

You know, I was going to claim that Cariad was a cleric, but I think karma would flatten that one quickly...

"Cariad Middlehigh." Tesni said surpressing the tones of Cysgodion. "Former protector to the Lady Minersmith, I joined up with this group once my Ladyship was married off." She paused, "I was staying in the town of Fisharbour after escorting her to the wedding armarda." shifting the blade on her back to emphasise her next point, Tesni continued. "My skills were not required any longer and the ladyships family had no placement for me." Feigning an expression of regret Tesni bowed slightly, "Rebellion is not a nobel action." Using the bow to hide her face Tesni winked at 'Cromwell'.

Tesni woke, the berserker mists had cleared with sleep. She too checked her blade, not that there seemed much point as this strange sword was yet to even dim from its usual gleam. Finishing she drew near Hoke. "Thank you for the assistance in the battle. The rages have a strong grip."

The squirming man fell to her blade, new ones took his place. "Captain E shall fall".

Tesni saw nothing, she heard nothing, nothing but her target, this worm, in service to the Corrupting Dark, he would fall!

Hey, you line 'em up and Tesni will knock them down. Wren is in for some fun surprises when/if they meet, Cysgodion does not like Zoot

Only when I targeted them in the last round. However, I misread (posting before my morning Coffee often comes back to haunt me) and B fell, C was already there and D was the new Captain. As I have not battled C just yet I can target D due to a strategic suggestion. Unless declaring a target also has to stick, not just engaging them in battle. Sandy?

Blinded by battle, Tesni was ready to charge but Hoke's call made sense. "Yes, sorry, the last one fell and I am striking them in order, but you can finish him off, I will go against Captain D" <I forgot that I hadn't targeted C in the first place, so I will indeed attack D as my last target, B, was beaten.>
