  1. You need to add DesignID's if it's going to be of any use. But please note, that the wanted list is not maintained as it used to (see my post above), so if you need something, contact TLG Customer Services directly.
  2. Best way is to send a request to the LEGO Customer Services. It used to be that I managed an unofficial list of most wanted parts and sent to the LDD Team. But there's been some re-organisation at TLG and at the moment I don't know exactly how this will be handled in the future, so hence, at the moment the best tip is to via the official LEGO channels and see how that works. PS: This should have been posted in the dedicated topic. I'm moving it there.
  3. 18942 can't slide into 18940 (Technic rails)
  4. Me neither.... I was just under the impression it would be released in the next update (this one) so I never bothered to check. Embarrassing.
  5. That ain't good. Can anyone else confirm this?
  6. Neither of the two new ship hulls 23999 and 20033 will multicolor
  7. Is it only for old LXF's created in the previous brickset, or also for new ones? Also, do you have any example to share? (I created a new topic from your post)
  8. Thanks sparkart And ditto on everything else you wrote.
  9. Here is an LXF with all new bricks. I count 318 new bricks. New in 2075.lxf
  10. Update: this was incorrect 1x1 tiles with lettering! If you remember, it was a prize for one of the contests we had like two years ago, and now they are finally here
  11. Please use this topic to discuss the new brickset
  12. There's a long awaited update to LDD out today - version 4.3.9 with a large number of new bricks. A topic has been started here to discuss it. This will updated as we learn more.... Update 1: 318 new bricks, Minecraft decorations, Technic motors... Update 2: 2x2 turntable now split into two Update 3: Max OS El Capitain issue fixed (you may need to clean the old preferences. Read more here(thanks Dornbi) Update 4: Bugs and issue topic created here.
  13. I've heard faint rumors about people clicking "Help" in the menu bar with great success
  14. An interesting set of slides on the topic of automatically optimising LEGO model strength: http://www.slideshar...graph-asia-2015 This sort of stability checking should be built into a LEGO CAD tool.
  15. WhiteFang has made a nice review of the 21123 - The Iron Golem set. He believes it will probably appeal mostly to Minecraft aficionados. What do you think? Check it out the review here and don't forget to vote!
  16. Aha, I see now you wrote "export to Blender". Missed that the first time. Yes, then the mirror is "easy" in that it's the pure geometries being mirrored. I did look into adding a mirroring function in LDDManager, but gave up after understanding it wouldn't be so easy.
  17. If that works, we need a Meccabricks > LDD converter.
  18. Hello bratkrk and welcome to Eurobricks. You posted in a very old topic (more then two years old). In these cases, please create a new topic instead (I've done it for you this time). As for your question - no, at the moment there is as far as I know no tool or code available to mirror an object in LDD. It is a very tricky and difficult task to achieve, furthermore if you start to use more intricate bricks, like those that exist in Left/Right versions or have a centerline that is off center or at 45 degrees.
  19. Hello kafi I see you are new to Eurobricks. Can I kindly ask you to explain a bit more about the post instead of just posting a link to a Youtubbe video. For example a title could be "LDD MOC: VK 1602 Tank" Also, please have a look in the forum FAQ to learn how to share photos instead of YouTube videos.. Finally, this should not have been posted in the Digital Design forum. I'm moving it to Special Themes where military MOCs go.
  20. This topic is almost 5 years old and the creator hasn't logged in to EB for almost 3, so I don't think he will read/update this topic. I'm closing it to avoid further bumping.
  21. Hispabrick Magazine #24 was released today. Among the content in this edition: "In this issue we have a look at the work The arvo Brothers have done, presenting their ALIEN project in book form, we interview Michał Kazmierczak (migalart) in our section Great Creators, designers like Lennart Cort and Kevin Hinkle Community Manager of LEGO® Community Engagement (LCE). We also bring you a new installment of Building trees, related to the MILS system and tutorials on MINDSTORMS and LEGO® WeDo...." Find out more here, including the download link
  22. Great error report. The two above where the most serious illegal build IMHO. Specially the second is pretty spectacular. Forcing a 4 length plate edge between studs. Ouch.
  23. First of all, since it's your first post, Welcome to Eurobricks! About your problem - there are a couple of situations where this issue might happen, depending on which plates it is. Can you show a screenshot and/or tell which plates it is and how you attempt to place them (viewing angle etc). (PS, please note that this is a forum of your peers, i.e. we are just normal users like you, so it doesn't really help to write that you are sick of the stupid problem. I also helped you clarify the title of your topics by adding "LDD", since we discuss several digital tools here.)
