  1. @bublibe Please go easy in your argumentation style. Everyone has the right to put out a sw anyway they want. If the author doesn't want to offer a trialware then that's his choice. No need to post three thumbs down like that. We're all you community peers here so you don't have too exagerate. Thanks :-)
  2. Issue #22 of the always informative (and free!) Hispabrick magazine is out. Click here to read about it and find the download links. On a little side note, Carlos (car_mp) tells me this will be his last issue as Editor-In-Chief. Thanks Carlos for all the hard work, and for great co-operation over the years!
  3. You've already posted the exact same question here. Don't cross-post please Closing this topic
  4. I'm moving this to "General LEGO" where photography is discussed.
  5. I'm moving this to the SW forum
  6. I agree with NathanR - Please don't post wild guesses. Or back up them up with some facts. This is a forum for AFOLS (Adult fans of LEGO) - please respect that. Thanks.
  7. Just checked and both errors seems to be illegal designs from TLG, so not much to do.
  8. The update is for sure a few weeks overdue compared to what has been the standard the past years. I don't have any information about the situation either. My tip is to contact LEGO Customer Services and ask; it can never hurt to let LEGO know there are a lot of us that appreciate and care about LDD.
  9. I'd prefer if we didn't go on posting in this topic. Extracting textures from games (albeit LEGO ones) is a bit too far off from the purpose of this forum. And I'm not sure about how legit it is either in terms of breaking EULAs etc.
  10. Thanks for sharing. Can't see the attached LDD file though
  11. Good point Darking. I've helped to update the title
  12. This should go here, since it's a request (and a good one). I'll move it over in a day or two. As far as solving it now (I guess you're talking about LDD2PovRay renders), I don't know if there is a work around. Maybe bbqqq knows?
  13. Please note that you can put the head "all the way down" even if you have the bandana. If you start with the head first, and then put the bandana on, it will work.
  14. Well, this is a topic that is always bound to open up discussions. Just to add to what's been said, "illegal" has to do with how LEGO designers are allowed to construct models in official sets, to ensure that bricks are not deformed, bent or lose clutch power over time. Putting a single stud in a single Technic hole is allowed sometimes, and you will see that LDD support the "approved" cases. But the general rule is that it's not considered a good technique in official sets because the studs squeeze in really hard and can be difficult for kids to take apart. The tight fit also risk deforming the plastic of the stud or the hole. With more studs being connected (e.g. in a row), then the fit becomes even harder. Also the connection is not tested in terms of clutch power to be used for "construction" purposes. Naturally, all the above is nothing any LEGO builder have to care about...we can do what we want with our bricks. But LDD only support the "official" LEGO building methods and we LDD users either live with it, or work around as bbqqq has shown. Some of us has even adopted the "legal principles" as yet another boundary that is a challenge to work around, i.e. to design LEGO models in the same way and under the same restrictions that real LEGO designers have to. I see you are new, so welcome to Eurobricks by the way
  15. I updated the topic title to something more descriptive. Just "Help" doesn't explain that much.
  16. Not sure how I should interpret this or what the purpose of your post was. In any case, please only post if you have something to contribute to the discussion. Thanks.
  17. First of all - good job with the model And yeah, that seems like an illegal build. They should have solved it used another element than 48989 - maybe 32138 ("binoculars").
  18. Hi and welcome to Eurobricks. It seems to be a bug (lack of connectivity) in the snakeblade, and hopefully it will be fixed in future versions of LDD. In the meantime, it should be possible to solve with some "scaffolding", i.e. to use other temporary use some other bricks to put snakeblade in place. Sure it will be "free-floating", but at least the model can be completed.
  19. Moving this to the Sci-Fi forum on request
  20. Jim, our EB Technic Moderator, has done a review of yet another massive Technic set - this time the 42039 - 24 HOURS RACE CAR. And just as the set itself, the review is loaded with all the bells and whistles, so don't hesitate to head on over to the Technic Forum check it out.
  21. It has to be some kind of record :-)
  22. Do you mean updated via the LEGO server, or that you personally fixed it locally on your computer?
  23. I merged your post with this topic. Also, please don't cross-post - I removed your duplicate post in the "bug report" topic. Thanks.
