  1. You 're really an expert when it comes to conflict-related street scenes Ezechielle! The military vehicle is brilliant! I also like the whole placement of the minifigs and the vehicle. Very nice! You've certainly captured the whole atmosphere of a scenery that has become a conflict zone. Well done!
  2. Some of these sets are really really nice! The blue plane doesn't have the big <insert that tiresome argument> wings! One more thing I've noticed, I don't know if my eyes deceive me, is that the fuselage's roof is not built with the usual big pieces but with slopes(?) or maybe a hinged construction just like the old (neolithic for some) days. If this is correct, I'm really curious about it. The only thing that I don't like on the blue plane is that the tail seems a bit too big for the size of it. I was not a fan of the <insert that tiresome argument> planes, but after when I got my hands on the Cargo Plane and the big blue passenger plane, I must admit that they look impressive. The city impulses are also very nice! I'll probably get them all. That's why they are called impulse. Cheap, small, like going to the supermarket for the weekly supplies and say "I'll take a chocolate bar for my way home." The seaplane is my favorite! I also like the tractor with the trailer. The one set that I'm not buying for sure is the fire helicopter. I own the excellent and probaly best helicopter that TLG has ever released, the Coast Guard helicopter, and the comparison is inevitable.
  3. Great work Badsneaker! All the details are superb and I really like the way you've used the red and white. It looks smooth and balanced and none of these two colours "cover" one another. The interior is also great! The refrigerator is fantastic! Btw, I think that this building should be named EC. It looks more than a Elves' Corner to me. Excellent creation again!
  4. Absolutely great and beautiful minifigs! Although that the price seems a bit raised, I 'm more that sure that I'll end up with many many of them! The forestman really reminds me the older "Robin Hood" movies and the actors that were playing the Robin Hood character. "Can I help you sir?" "Eeehm, I 'm looking to buy something for my nephew." (yeah right... ) "Glad to help you sir, but why do you keep touching these polybags in a weird way?" I can picture myself trying to act in a cool, like-nothing-happens way.
  5. The cowboy, the magician, the native american, the ninja and the space astronaut are my favorites! ...oh, and the caveman! (great for a castaway vig!) It's almost impossible to pick just one. I tried, but couldn't make up my mind. EDIT: And I just hope and pray that these small little gems will make it to Greece.
  6. The winter/holidays theme! It was about time! I just love it! The colours, the banner, I really missed it! It reminds me of my first days here in Eurobricks last year! A great thanks to the staff! Man, I just love this blue colour!
  7. An Israeli band cover of "Don't let me be misunderstood", totally in a greek way.
  8. Thanks Siegfried! Very very beautiful calendar! Couldn't be more christmas-y! Kudos to Svelte and 3D Brickthing for the photo!
  9. The old traditional way! One step at a day. Nice of you Mariann! I've just ordered mine and by following your daily steps, I'll also try to open one creation at a time. (Naahhh, I know I'm gonna open the whole box at once... I can't resist. ) The picture you've created for this occasion is great! It really captures the eye!
  10. Very nice creation Jameson! As others have already mentioned, the ground floor glass panels are really impressive. I especially like the way the minifig reflects on the glass in the fourth picture. It looks very realistic! The use of the 8x16 tiles for the roof is very authentic and personally I haven't seen it been used too much often. Although that at first glance, the roof seems to be less detailed in comparison to the rest of the beautifully detailed building, the playability gauge in the interior just rises to the limit, especially if you can make a hinge mechanism for it. I like the black and white. Many modern buildings today have that colour scheme, especially some clothes brands stores, like "Zara" for example. Clever use of the small plants on the pavement. It looks more colourful that way, without changing your actual plans of creating a black and white building. Thanks for sharing your creation with us!
  11. How about this part for the small category? The biggest? Hmmm... Perhaps this one?
  12. Very nice work lightningtiger! The front of the truck is very very nice! It is not the usual vertical mask that TLG uses in most of the trucks of this kind and that it good! This could be an official model with the addition of some minor details.
  13. A great thanks for this raffle CopMike! You sure know how to make the christmas season a lot more interesting! All I can say and think about all the great entries is that imagination and creativity is endless and has no limits. That's the true LEGO spirit after all.
  14. A terrible thing for LEGO-related photo activities... The worst part is that many reviews are now chopped and messed up . Even one WIP review of mine for the RA is still waiting for the problem to be fixed. Well, I 'll just wait 4-5 days more, and then I'll just move into another image hosting site. Hope dies last I suppose... P.S I've even adjusted the link's name to my BS folder in my signature. For the ones who are unaware of the problem...
  15. What a wonderful scene! You've really captured the Christmas spirit brickzone! All the buildings forming this square and the minifigs celebrating is just great! The snow is the element that makes the difference IMO. Man, it FEELS like Christmas! To tell you the truth, your creation really brings in my mind some scenes from the movie "Gremlins". Don't worry, I don't mean the actual creatures. I'm talking about the town the story took place. A small town, everything covered in snow, people out in the streets, small charming buildings, kids singing the carols and especially that whole Christmas atmosphere. Excellent work again! (30 days until my 2-week off from work for holidays.... )
  16. Unfortunately, this set was the last of the Mohicans...
  17. Few months ago, I went to a toy store that traditionally sells LEGO since I were a kid, to buy some new sets and I found a 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress in an excellent condition. Yes, I bought it! (See my BS folder.)
  18. "The reindeers were ill. The clock was ticking. Time was passing quickly. Christmas were at the gates. Santa Claus only had one option to save the Christmas spirit."
  19. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G work Jasper! It is one of the most beautiful -if not THE most- street layouts I've ever seen! The details are just magnificient! My favorite is the blue roof building! The colours you 've used in that building are truely beautiful! The way they are combined is great and you just can't help but looking. A really eye-friendly creation! I also like the way you've displayed the post office and the employees. It's like an anniversary photo or a photo taken from a commercial like: "Because our company is our people, ready to serve the community, you." Great work and welcome aboard to Eurobricks Jasper!
  20. Dear Lord, this is HUGE!!! You 're one lucky guy commodore! Brickshelf is down at the moment so try to join another image hosting site in order to upload as many pictures as you can. (All... ) Check the Tutorial Index for help. A great thanks for the photos man!!! The best impulse set ever!
  21. Welcome to this great community Range Viper! Lurking is the first stage as usual. Addiction is the result. Have fun surfing the boards! The ultimate truth about being an AFOL... (Not sure what smiley to put. A happy one for the many bought sets, or a not so happy one for the thousands of dollars/euros spent...
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks Brick Floyd! You 're gonna have a great and creative time in here for sure. (I guess after so much lurking you are already aware of that. ) The image in your signature is fantastic btw! Keep on building in a free world!
  23. Some guy was selling a HUGE -and when I say huge, I mean HUGE!- number of sets, 99% MISB, from Star Wars, City and other themes. There were many large sets in the auction like 10179, trains, buildings and many sets were in multiple copies. If I remember correctly there were 3 or 4 7744 Police Stations for example. There was a complete organised list of all the sets and how many copies from them and just looking at that list was like riding a rollercoaster! I cannot estimate the number of sets but if I say >100 I think I'll be in the spot. The price was $25000.
  24. Has anybody noticed that the firetruck is not the typical 6-wide design? The driver sits in the middle and there is hardly any space on his both sides. It's like an old classic town cabin. There is also a chair for a co-driver in there! O.K, not side by side with the driver but behind him. Why not? Smells like Teen Spirit Classic Town...
  25. "This is madness!!!" "Madness? This is Sparta eBay!!!"
