  1. I got a lot of leftovers as well, so don't fret. And I actually really disliked the set!
  2. THAT is creativity at its finest! You could make a Tatooine-ish farmhouse in the background!
  3. Well George Lucas can pretty much do anything. Regarding anything Star Wars, he is, for all intents and purposes, God. Unfortunately my little brother's birthday is the 28th, and he will be devastated to hear that George Lucas personally made him wait 2 weeks to get his precious Slave I.
  4. Hi all, Just went to my local TRU today. George lucas has prohibited the sales of the new Star Wars sets from all North American retailers until August 6th. Anyone else get the same response?
  5. Nice use of minifig heads, good selection. I like the officer and the dying rebel. By the way, your post title is very enjoyable.
  6. Klaus-Deiter, you are correct. As I said a page back, cloud city will be a set next year.
  7. Guys, I'm pretty sure its been established that we will get a Cloud City as one of the flagship sets next year. Someone said it a while back.
  8. A. Do not lash out at any one of our members. That is a job for the leaders like KimT, and that was extremely rude and uncalled for. Don't do it again, or you might lose some friends here at Eurobricks. B. Grow a pair- Harper's Island quote?... Back on topic- I am very dissappointed about the shuttle, I did not want it to be UCS. Ah, well, we'll wait for the speeder...
  9. Fantastic review! Thanks! For those of you who are trashing the color scheme, A. It's really not that bad, and B. Would you rather have the EXACT SAME color scheme as the last one? That would be a bit boring, now wouldn't it? Those flick-fire missles and stickers are a big meh, but the minifigs and extra ARC Trooper gear are fantastic. I wonder where the mandalorian sticker goes?...
  10. I love that TIE! It's so adorable! Is your intro story an allegory for real-life Republicans and George Bush- hence the joblessness? Great MOC!
  11. Thanks for the review! I had picked this set up and was going to review it, but you beat me to it!
  12. Whoa, I didn't realize the braid was that long! WIN!
  13. Whoa, take it easy there, tiger! Well, the AT-AT could have been better, but it could have been worse. I'll take it.
  14. Thanks for the pics. But honest to freaking god, if the two large Power Miners aren't released in the US soon, I'll need a new way to vent my anger besides slashing my neighbor's car tires pulling the fire alarm at the office sending Tiger Woods angry letters crying myself to sleep.
  15. Is today the last day of the toy fair? Because I was sure they would introduce 10212 here!
  16. Amen to that, my friend! One of the greatest pieces of literature ever. Sorry, now on topic: Haha, no that crawler vehicle is part of a special edition set coming out later this year, I believe it is called 'Undersea Explorer'- check Brickset AND TO END THE DEBATE- THE DEEP SEA STRIKER DOES NOT HAVE 442 PIECES. It has 260. Lego's preliminary box art always puts either XXX or 442 as the piece count, no one knows why but that's just how they do it. It's not the actual piece count. Was that clear enough for you?
  17. I can settle this right now- everyone on this website has to admit that the Twilight STUNK. It's a flying garbage can! Well, branching off of the obvious, the Tie Crawler was slightly under par. Its treads and movement were quite remarkable, but past that... nothing. Also (hate to be bashing the Tie's here!) the new Tie Defender is a huge disappointment. The design is realistic but flawed (the interior... really isn't an interior!) and it is insanely overpriced. Good pilot fig though. As far as old sets go, the old Sith infiltrator is obvious, and the color scheme of the oldest Millenium Falcon was (all the red and blue). But my biggest pet peeve was the Separatist Spider Droid. I mean, it came with great figs I guess, but the set didn't DO anything! And the price was horrendous.
  18. I am SO HAPPY that thet fixed Grievous's cockpit. The former version was just
  19. You mean Rorschach, the most badass comic book character of all time? Won't work, Woody's face is molded so it would be really hard. You could use Cad Bane's new hat mold though. Personally, I like Ozymandias and the Comedian.
  20. Guy's that's not a commando battle droid! It's the medical droid for Palpatine's shuttle. They just put it by the Turbo Tank.
  21. I saw that too, that's pretty incredible! I had a problem with Vladek's castle too; I got a lot of extra pieces (thirty or forty actually, it was ridiculous) but no rubber bands, which were really important Lucky. Back on topic, I've heard a bunch of people say they've gotten multiple rock monsters in Power Miners sets, especially the blue ones.
  22. Sorry! But come on, even you told people to give it a rest! And I didn't see that it was an official TLC poster, when I glanced at it it looked like a box, which is always getting changed, so it may not have been finalized... Really though, what's wrong with the Wampa? And once again, anyone thing Cad's breathing apparatus looks a lot like the one for a fireman?
  23. PLEASE STOP JUDGING THE WAMPA JUST BY THESE PICTURES. IT STILL MAY NOT BE FINALIZED. Aayla and Cad look great, why is everyone saying such negative things about the Cad minifig? His smile is not a smile- it's an evil smirk. TURBO TANK IS HUGE. Is it just me, or does Cad's breathing apparatus look somewhat like the fireman's mask from a while back (that goes over the air tanks?...) It's obviously not the same piece but strikingly similar.
  24. But does anyone have any info? Anything at all?
  25. Alright what is the deal here? The two big power miners aren't available in the USA! I certainly hope that they are just really late with the release, and it's not that they won't be coming out at all! Otherwise TLC will be hearing from me! :skull:
