Republic Frigate is not a TRU exclusive, the Hoth base is.
-
Everything but the Fire Temple is listed, but not all of them are available.
-
Actually, the only things available currently on TRU.com is the Hoth set for $90, the Sith infiltrator for $70 (ridiculous price), and the Ewok Attack for $25. Everything else is out of stock.

... Qui-gon isn't in this set... Thanks for the review! This'll be a pass for me; it's nothing special and I already have the second version... and half of the first version
-
Wow... this is just a big ol' pile of meh. Small, two cannons, the cabin looks awful... I know this is preliminary but TLG, if you're reading this, you've got a LOT of work to do on the ship. It's very unfinished and that's just a fact. The minifigs, on the other hand, are an A+ job!
-
So still no sign of the new sets at all in the USA? Also, the Hoth Base is highly likely to be the TRU exclusive, so unfortunately it will be the usual $110 USD...

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

There are 3 gold bars, but one of them is extra! As far as the ten coins go, they're a new mold, and they're quite ugly. But the set asks for 8, and you get 10, so no complaining. No extra apple, sadly. -
General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

Went to my Michigan TRU last night, they had everything but the Fountain of youth (which is ok because that's probably the worst set). Grabbed the Isla de Muerta, which is fantastic, and the very last QAR. It honestly doesn't DO much, but man oh man is it a beauty! Figs are fantastic. I plan to grab more today, if they're not sold out already. Once again, aside from almost no play features, the QAR is the set to get. -
I must say, as is the general feeling, I am pleasantly surprised. Aside from the King's Castle, the first line of Kingdoms was one of the absolute worst Lego lineups I've ever seen. They looked like a 4-year old could make them. This second line is a great improvement- I assume that's the general opinion?
-
Poodoo! I thought they were only doing that with unlicensed sets! Like the Power Miners Lavatraz last year, and the Atlantis Temple this year... I guess I can wait a few months for that tactical droid.
-
Holy cow, how did I miss that? Frankly, how did the person assembling the set miss that?
-
Haha, they put Qui-gon's hair on Panaka! People continue to talk about new magnets- what will be the figures included?
-
I live in the US and I can't find Mace Windu's starfighter anywhere! I think someone on another site found it at a Target- is this true?
-
I am surprised and happy about the piece count for the advent calendar. What date is the Toy Fair again?

Haha, you read that comic too? The nightsisters, if I remember the trailer correctly, seem to be of the same species as Assajj. I definately wouldn't count out Savage though.
-
Looked up Dathomir- it's a planet home to the Rancor, which could obviously be great news. Also, it is the homeworld of the Night Sisters, who will make an appearance later in the Clone Wars TV show. I already know where TLC is going with this set- apparently there is a new villain of Darth Maul's species named Savage Oppress who will make an appearance in the show. Could TLC be releasing a newly molded Darth Maul head (in green for Savage) this summer, at the same time for both sets?
-
Frankly I see your point- something's not clicking. Unless there are other things included, that Y-wing/ stunk tank combo can't be $250. But at the same time, don't trash Jordan- let's reserve our judgements for when we see pictures.
-
Hmmm... I don't buy it. Not trying to be mean to your friend Jordan at all, but if you give us some awesome pictures or other evidence to prove me wrong, then by all means, do it! All these clone wars sets are repetitive... I don't mind them usually, but all these BARC speeders?

Totally. The arms are finally fixed- AND it looks like the helmets are an orange mold with white printing!

I have a theory about the claimed Geonosis/ Endor battlepacks, if they actually do exist at all: I don't know if anyone remembers, but wasn't the original name for the two $25 sets last summer (the Hoth thing with a tauntaun and the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid) like "Army Builders" or something along those lines? I think that was the subtitle on Lego.com... Could these 'battle packs' actually be another pair of $25 sets? I think two more battlepacks are unlikely since: a) There are usually 2 battlepacks per year, in the winter b) They are almost always from the same movie/ genre of star wars Feel free to shut me down on this one, it's just an idea
-
I agree, I have to call this one, it's just too convenient. Those EU sets are making me have doubts. But please, by all means, surprise me!
-
Well your hypothesis at the end is reasonable, but your facts are wrong! Greivous SF was in the 2nd wave, ARC-170s and Tris were not in both seasons, Cad banes speeder and Plo's SF were 1st season. This whole V-wing thing is an interesting debate, it's still strange why they have an Imperial tag on it....

The T-6 should be an excellent opportunity to get some new figs- at least I hope so. Does anyone know what episode this 'halo' comes from/ what figures might be included? Forgive me, I missed a few episodes of the last season And does anyone else think that the choices for the upcoming winter sets are very odd? Plus no OT!
