  1. Nice in that case: Erdbeereis +1 Bonaparte +1 SlyOwl +1
  2. The dartboard is a great idea This is a nice MOC with a lot of great things in it, very piraty You did a good job with a limited number of parts. (I feel like I'm repeating the other people well, these are just the best points of your MOC )
  3. This MOC looks promising so far. I like the gates to the house and the sad colours. Your minifigures are great as well, the nuns look really scary. Once I saw them, I immediately knew the story behind it It's a good way to start with a MOC.
  4. Nice job, simple but good And you did a good job on the hanged man. I once made a gallow and it was very hard to make him hang 'vertical' because the minifig consantly tried to hang horizontal
  5. Haha, awesome! I wonder what Captain Greenhair will think of this..Oh ofcourse, he doesn't care because he's called 'Smurfhair' now Great animation en very funny idea. I'm curious about what the next colour will be
  6. Ah, there it is already! Very nice building. The colours might be realistic but a few more colours would be nice as well, it's rather grey. For the rest it's a very good MOC. The anchor is a great touch, as well as the model ship and the roof. It has a lot of nice details, you did a good job on this
  7. Nice ship! Great shape and colourscheme. The table on which it was standing looked a lot like a real sea, nice touch I don't see anything that should be improved, this will be a nice addition to the bluecoat fleet. Good luck with the rest of the ship!
  8. Could you please make a drawing of my sigfig (if you have any time left )? This is him: Please make him in a different attitude/posture (?) and ofcourse with his croissant Thanks in advance!
  9. Yes I think I will first make one yellow mast with rigging and sails, and if it looks awful I can always change it into brown. I have also changed the mast a little by adding a few black round bricks in it (instead of plates), and it looks better already. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
  10. So the yellow masts are not such a good idea... the Victory has them as well, but indeed with Lego it somehow doesn't work as good as in real. Maybe I will switch them into brown ones, but they are more expensive (at least the parts for the middle mast section) So then I have to earn some more money first And @ Smurfhair: Yes I'm indeed going to add ropes there Thanks for all the comments so far!
  11. Nice fleet Teddy! The IFS really jumps out of the picture Great pictures and good work on the edited one
  12. As a first ship it looks rather good Nice colourscheme and good work on the sails. It's also great that it has an interior, playability is a very good thing on MOC's. I think you could change the small grey fences into black ones better. In that way it will fit more to the rest of the ship. For the rest it's a good ship.
  13. !Latest Update on page 2! I think the next update will be the last one. I only have to do the masts and rigging. (link to the previous update: Click Here I've also changed the name of the ship for the third (and last) time because an eagle was to difficult to make as a figurehead It's now called 'Vesta' after a roman godess. Anyway, here are the pic's: First an overall look: This is the crow's nest of the main mast, maybe I'm going to adjust it a little bit but I'm rather satisfied with it. Me, standing on the bow of the ship The figurehead, Captain Blackmoor is working on a decal for it. The stern, finally it has a name on it The steering wheel and some other things: The side of the ship, with closed gunports: Finally, some members of my crew. These are French marines (I think ) And some officers, decals by Captain Blackmoor That was it. ...huh? what's that? looks like a floating croissant shop! Looks like the first customers have arrived already! That was it, More images on my Brickshelf and C&C welcome.
  14. Very funny! Good animation and nice little story, I only missed the barrel, like Capt. Blackmoor already mentioned By the way, your ship is also progressing nicely
  15. I'd like to give it a try. Blackmoor is a good friend of mine and he has already show me some things of what a blogger has to do. I didn't look too difficult And my dad is newspaper writer so maybe I have some writing-blood in my veins as well And for me Pirates is most certainly number 1!
  16. Was there a certain (smurflike) meaning to make the scepter with a blue and a white hand? Anyway, this is a very nice creation. Good work on the bridge and the rock in the water. Your natives look good as well, especially the one with the orange head Nice job!
  17. For cannons and ships I think they are very useful. Every time I have a problem with my ship, I check the ship index to see how other people have solved it. That's really useful. And also for a lot of other details I check the index. Good thing to have
  18. Great idea!! The bakery for me please!
  19. I'll go with that, it really has a lot of great techniques again, ...Owl proves himself worthy of being a MOC-expert again
  20. It's just a sail You can see it on this picture (number 12 is the spanker):
  21. Welcome to this forum! You have made a very funny MOC Those redcoats seem to be in a lot of trouble I think your pictures aren't even thát worse, they are rather good. Keep up the good work
  22. Tell the truth indeed! And if you don't, it's clear to us that rats can't be trusted :pir-skull:
  23. Make it a bluecoat ship No, serious, your ship has a nice colourscheme and the figurehead is also great, a real hoplite I think there is too much space in the back of your ship. You could improve it by adding a spanker or give it three masts or move both masts a bit to the back. An anchor would also be a nice touch and very useful. For the rest your ship is good, I like the crab on your stern!
  24. Nice ship matey! The stern looks very good with all the gold and red parts in it. Your pirate captain also looks very good (and scary ) Unfortunately you don't have a broadside on both sides of the ship, but that doesn't matter as long as you fight just against one ship with one broadside Also a nice thing is that you can remove the decks and take a look inside. It's a very playable and beautiful ship
  25. Congratulations! You really deserved it Also thanks for the comments and critics on my entry, it was very helpful.
