I also listen in a lot of ways. Usually Ipod and mobile phone, but also tv, computer and cd's. And on my work I listen to the radio. And we also have a vinyl record-player and sometimes I listen to my old Mp3. Thats what I call 'multimedia listening'

Well, for a first stop-motion it's certainly not bad Next time you should try to keep the camera more 'in balance' (it moves a bit) and try to keep the same light in the background (it's changing all the time). For the rest it's a good (and funny) movie. I like the way he puts his cape on and how they fight, good work on that

[Brickfilm] The Droid
Admiral Croissant replied to General Armendariz's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Good movie! It's really smooth and well-animated. And also quite funny -
These minifgs are very different from the normal ones. I think it will be funny to mix these body parts with some traditional minifigs (like cowboys or pirates ) Anyway, I rather like these but I think lego shouldn't make to many series with such strange heads and stuff.

PtV II "Captain CaLego Jack in heaven"
Admiral Croissant replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
To 'The Otters': thanks for your suggestions. I was already planning to make real clouds but I just didn't know how. Maybe I will find out later on. The iron cage idea is good but I think a net doesn't really look like a cage. Maybe I do something with black ladders. But I think it might be better without a cage so you can see the pirate better. I will look for more blue bricks, if I find enough I will make the wall out of bricks. To Zorro: (uh..how do I explain this...) Well...the pirate was supposed to go to hell en there it is just nice to have a wooden leg because it burns better To Badboytje: That's also a good suggestion because it's still a bit empty near the gallow. Also thanks for all the other comments! -
'Behind The Helm' Episode #14 - Teddy
Admiral Croissant replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Pirates
Nice interview again. Also very long, you really have to take your time for this. But now I am 'member' (or something like that) on I-tunes so I can listen whilst building things with lego That's very nice! The sound was not as good as previous times but for the rest it was good. -
101c Updated Captain CaLego Jack has been a pirate for most of his life. So in the end he got hanged. But instead of going straight to hell, he sneaked into heaven. There he began a new life. He is now friendly to other people and drinks tea with them (like in the MOC). But deep inside he is still the same pirate that he has always been. In my MOC we see how death himself comes to get CaLego Jack so he finally goes to where he belongs. Of course Jack doesn't want to go to hell so he hides himself behind his cup of tea I want to thank Captain Greenhair for inspiration. I didn't have a lot of time and good bricks for this so I'm not sure if I can adjust a lot of things, but comments are still welcome. I will add more pictures on brickshelf later, because I can't upload them there right now.

I thought there had already been found water on Mars ...anyway, it would be cool if every ordinary people can plan a tour to the moon within the next 200 years, wouldn't it?

Don't be a jerk it's It's Christmas
Admiral Croissant replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I don't really like the look of any spongebob in 3D, it just looks odd. But this movie is just very good and very funny, just as all the buildings and other stuff -
Good work again! Your roof technique is very nice, just as the fence. This building has a lot of detail. If I ever want to build a castle myself, I think this one provides a lot of information about different techniques. Also the snowy-thing about this is nice, very original. I agree with some other people that the tapes don't look so good. It makes me just think of hanging tapes too much. Something completely different: Some time ago I saw one of your crabs in someone's MOC, I really like it

Magnificent building with tons of detail! I really like it and could look at this for hours I like how you made even the inside of the walls, and all the water with trans-blue. The shapes in the walls (I mean the cross-shapes up high where the archers can shoot through) are also very inventive. I don't see any things that could be improved, in my eyes it's a perfect MOC, good job!

"The making of" our Spanish Imperial Galleon
Admiral Croissant replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ok, well my book said it was for damaging the sails. But I think what you said would have been more useful because the hooks are not big enough to cause serious damage to sails. Thanks for the info -

Admiral Croissant replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
So here are the pic's: I think the purpose of these things is quite obvious, just destroying the sails of the other ship. And I have no idea how to make them with lego -

Nice to see how a few brown hulls and a lot of bricks slowly turn into the beautiful galleon Blackmoor and I are also thinking of building a ship together when our current projects are finished. With teamwork (and bricks, and beer, and bbq's) you can make the best MOC's (or OOC' =our own creations) I also found another funny thing in one of my books wich you could also add to your ship, maybe just to see how it looks. It's 2 reaping-hook shaped knives on the end of the mainyard. If you're interested I can scan the pictures for you. But maybe I have shown it before, I don't know. Anyway, nice topic -
But there are also better effects. We just want to make every MOC perfect Your MOC looks good but it can look even better. So I don't see the problem. I think comments are very useful to improve your MOC's and building skills. Our comments are not ment to just say what is wrong about it, but to improve the MOC.

I think the stern is a bit too yellow, you could try how it looks if you change the (square) yellow bricks on the side into black ones. fot the rest it looks good. Could you also show an overall look of the ship or do you want to wait with that to the final update? looking good so far, keep it up

Petition for Western returning
Admiral Croissant replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I don't know if these petitions help, but it would be nice to see the western theme back. It also has useful parts for the pirate theme (horses, utilities, and a lot of other stuff) So... signed! -
Spanish Imperial Galleon - Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion
Admiral Croissant replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
There you have a point.. I believe there is one brick with a lion face on it, you could try that one. Otherwise maybe no figurehead at all. Or you just leave it the way it is, maybe there were ships with figureheads like this as well. For the lines of the ship: the coloured lines are good indead, but I mean that the handrail is horizontal on the highest deck and I like it more when it's more vertical. But I know there were also ships with horizontal handrails so it's not nessecary. Just a suggestion -
Nice MOC. There are really a lot of things going on there. I think a white/blue background would look better here, but for the rest it's good. I must say, I really like your crab! I've never seen that before but it's genious. For the rest, I like your minifigures, you have a lot of cool faces. And the buildings are nice too. good job

Happy anniversary to everyone who gives something about it! The wall came down just before I was born so I can't remember anything from it, but on my primary school there was a teacher who married a dutch guy to be able to flee from the DDR. So I did experience something from it. And about 3 years ago I went to East Germany myself, great experience. "...and that's all I have to say about that."

Spanish Imperial Galleon - Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion
Admiral Croissant replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
I've been to an Island with school this weekend so I missed this one. I'm glad it was bumped up again, otherwise I might have missed it completely You really did an amazing job on this ship. I like the fact that you are building an armada ship because that's quite unique. The colourscheme is wonderfoul and the cross on the sails are perfect as well. I'm also honoured that you used my idea to make a 'sternsprit' or whatever it's called I think the figurehead could better be removed or be turned into a lion since I think that was more common (but I could be wrong about this). And the side of the ship should be more 'going up' towards the stern (Like can be seen here: http://www.martinships.com/photos/Golden-Hind-01.jpg) For the rest it's just a very good-looking ship, the best in it's kind as far as I know -
You are the third one Anyway, very nice MOC! Very promising to have this as your first MOC on this site The fishing guy is very funny, and all the water effects are great as well. Just like The Otters I don't understand the barrel and the water coming out of it. Is someone jumping into the barrel? Or did the barrel fall into the water? Or maybe something else.. I like the way you built the ship, but I think it should get less wide in the top (try to make a tumblehome). For the rest it's just very great

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Admiral Croissant replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Great news! Some time ago I read somewhere that they would not rebuild the ship, so all my hope was gone and now I suddenly see this good message! I'm totally happy now And also, it will be rebuilt in Franeker, so that's about an hour driving from where I live! -
