  1. Looks like a nice project But if you don't have the money for it, maybe you'd start with a smaller ship first (or less cannons, thei're really expensive!) I like the colourscheme, and LDD is a good way to start with your ship, I did the same thing with the Vesta. Good luck anyway
  2. Thanks everyone! I didn't get any lego, but I did get money. So I think I'm going to buy some Lego soon! And I got a lot of books about ships that can help my with my Lego ship. And I had a nice party so it was a good birthday
  3. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  4. Oh, I forgot to do this. It was blogged today [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  5. I would give the mizzen mast 1 or 2 more yards but the rest of this ship is good I like the 'open' gundeck with all the details on it and the tiles as well. Nice job, are you going to give it sails too? or just 'rope rigging'?
  6. You could try to put a small piece of iron wire in a tube. But indeed, I can live with it as it is now I'm working a lot on her lately. Today I will give her the fore-topsail and 1 or 2 jibs. I'll give an update as soon as it's finished completely which will hopefully be within the next 2-3 weeks (but it could also take 1 or 2 months )
  7. Nice job! Those small legs always look funny on Admirals and such, and certainly when they're also doing childish tricks And of course the exploding banana was great too Good luck in the contest!
  8. 1 point to KingoftheZempk 1 to Brig. Brick 1 to Fugazi 1 to the Inventor 1 to Capt. Thomas Foolery 1 to Captain Blue Hair 1 to Oky Wan Kenobi Thanks for participating everyone, I had a good laugh
  9. Well, it's quite democratic because the top 5 Bluecoat entries and the top 5 Redcoat entries will be invited to compete in the final round of the Tournament. Only in the second round you can vote 'undemocratic'. But it's more fair-play and gentleman-like to vote just for the best entry, not only for your own side (though I would understand that as well). I usually vote for bluecoats because they usually make better entries
  10. These ships are indeed very good. Creating something with LDD is IMO always much harder than with real bricks (except that you can use every brick). The dimensions are all correct but I think most of the bowsprits are a bit too short. The masts of the Hunter are not really too tall, but I think 4 sails per mast would look better. And I really like all the colours and details. I hope you will make one of them in real some time. Good job on your LDD's anyway
  11. Haha I really had to laugh about Skalldyr coming out of the pub with an octopus The end was also very good, just all the bluecoats die (made me think of a 'kabouter wesley' episode)... ...but did Joey open the safe? Anyway, nice entry!
  12. Withouth a contest we would also know that we are smarter, but it's always funny to make fun of redcoats Clear images, nice comic and very humiliating!
  13. Yeah I'd like some too now! (or a croissant) But it's a nice comic with very clear images and some different types of text balloons, which I also like For a redcoat, you did a good job
  14. Ah, finally a bluecoat entry again This is something I really like! The second picture is awesome, and the one with the cannon is hilarious (just like the anchor!) It might not be the best jokes but it's elaborated so well that it gave me a good laugh. This is certainly one of the better entries I've seen
  15. Great! That's exactly like how a pirate town should be. Nice how you put all those ship parts in it and made it a real piraty mess And I also like all the little rooms and houses in it. Good job
  16. Well, at least Joey Lock is dead, one of the most notorious redcoats. But our entire staff is dead, it's kinda cowardish to kill us while we were watching monkeys Still, it's a funny entry. (and it's time to put your head in a jar again )
  17. You redcoats always need bigger creatures to fight for you (as a bluecoat I had to say that) But it's a nice comic and I like the piratish language in it Good luck in the contest!
  18. Sure the gate is absurdly large Fort Brighton East is a fantastic building and it's very suitable for comic backgrounds. The MOC's in this comic are all very nice and I like the story too. Good job
  19. Yes, the flags are always on top of our list with survival tools Nice comic! Good luck in the contest.
  20. That's a lovely building! I like the colours and the tiles on the front. The windows are nice too. Good job!
  21. Exactly, buried in croissants isn't so bad. But being killed by Bigshot is! With a concrete croissant I would have killed him though
  22. Expect this to be frontpaged soon [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  23. Please make the dynamite scene next time (but not on a bluecoat) But for now: [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  24. What a smashing introduction! Welcome to Eurobricks and have a great time
  25. Hello General!

About your head..I'm sorry to say that it's rotting. I think I need to put some kind of fluid in it next time to prevend it from doing that. =)
