  1. That's looking very good! It's very detailed and the small variety in uniforms is a nice touch as well. I also like the flag a lot, but I would have liked it more on a brown stick instead of blue, but maybe brown ones don't exist this size. Anyway, it's frontpaged. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  2. Very nice ship! It has enough stuff on the deck like the bell and a captstan (and soon a few cannons) and the hull is also nice. I like the colourscheme and the small curve in the line of gunports. I do agree with Blackmoor on the rigging though. I prefer custom rigging anyway but just lego is very good as well (but it could use some more ropes). But like I said it's a very fine ship with a lovely stern
  3. Congratulations to all the winners! I'm glad for you, but I can't wait to take revenge in the next tournament
  4. You could take a look in our index here
  5. It's not very realistic (I agree with Dreamweb's points) but it sure is very impressive! And expensive Nice find Captain
  6. and thank you and Blackmoor for running this tournament! It was great to see all the entries, and it's tournaments like this that make the forum so great
  7. "Beaten with their own weapons." By Skalldyr 1 point "The Redcoat Voodoo Doll" By Fugazi 1 point "To much pink will kill you" By the Inventor 1 point "From one classic piece of mythology to another..." By ZCerberus 1 point The Blue Avenger Strikes Back! By Oky Wan Kenobi 1 point Good job everyone! I hope you guys enjoyed it just as much as I did
  8. Beaten by a crab..Crap! But it's a very original and actually also a very funny comic Good luck in the contest!
  9. Haha, looks like my concrete croissant did a good job again Nice entry, I liked the giant Skalldyr and Hornbricker's head sticking out of the cannon
  10. It's looking great again, as usual Unfortunately you don't show us many pictures of the interior but the exterior is just as interesting. I like the bow a lot (can't wait to see that finished with all the decorations!) and the wider hull makes it even more impressive! But I agree with Capt. Becker that a small mast on the lifeboat would make that look better and I would lengthen the yellow line from the poop deck with 6 or 8 studs. Good progress, can't whait to see the next update!
  11. Nice entry! I wanted to use those 'face' bricks as well but I couldn't think of any comic to use them in You found a good way to use them and the end is also great with the enourmous bloodstream down the guillotine
  12. It looks very good, but usually the stern is almost as wide as the widest part of the ship, so I would make it wider. I would make it a bit more like this: ..well, not exactly but you get the idea But it's looking very good already, keep it up!
  13. These ships look very good I especially like the third one, which has also the best looking colour scheme IMO (but they are all realistic). I think some of the mizzen masts could be made a bit longer, although that's of course not possible if you're using prefab rigging. I've worked with MLCad too and I think it works very well (quite easy indeed) Anyway, I like them a lot and therefore:[bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  14. Seems like they still have to renovate a lot, but it's a very nice fortress. And great pictures, if I ever want to build a fort, this could be a good example. Thanks for the images!
  15. I see some nice things here, the bananas in the tree, the tiled water, and the girls of course Although they looks less 'islandish' than the rest. The skeleton is also a nice touch Good job!
  16. No, there isn't. Once you are a redcoat, you will be one forever But in your bluecoat suit you can't go back to the redcoats, so you'll have to fight them instead You'll have to take revenge on yourself then because it were only redcoats that killed themselves But still, I'm glad you all liked it
  17. Nice ship, a lot of details and a very lively MOC I'll put this on our frontpage [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] But please resize your pic's, we have an allowed maximum of 600x800 pixels per image Oh, and welcome to our forum!
  18. It's great that you have already ordered some minifigs, but the decks can still use some stuff on it like grates, capstans, barrels or buckets with swords. For the rest it's a very nice ship, I like the sails and the brown masts a lot and the rigging is nice as well. And finally, personally I don't really like the white bricks on it. I think red, blue or yellow will look better. Good job anyway, and good luck on further adjustments
  19. That looks impressive! Seems like you've put an awful lot of work in it Are you planning to make this in real? Then how are you going to make it so that you can look inside the ship? The shape is looking good so far, and I can't wait to see some more real details on it like pumps, small chambers and grates. Anyway, nice job
  20. I don't have a lot of time in the following 2 weeks, so here is my ToRII entry for the final round. The Dress Party Thanks for viewing!
  21. If you want inspiration for sterns on brickbuild hulls, you could take a look at one of these: Grandeur, Frigate, Vesta, Achille & Guerriere. Good luck! And please resize your pic's to a maximum of 800x600
  22. Nice job, it looks very similar to the painting. And you came up with an interesting piece of history
  23. Yes! Yes finally! Although I really hope the pirates theme will come back some time, this is a great opportunity to get more variety in torso's, weapons and other stuff! And I hope they will make the Endeavour (from PotC, not Cooks's) or another ship with the yellow black pattern
  24. It's great to be in the final round. Thanks for voting on me! (for the ones that did) Well, let's get brainstorming again then, about a funny way to humiliate the red enemy
  25. Your minifigs are really nice The ship is too, although I agree with the others about the stubby bow. But the sails and especially the stern are really nice. The stern makes it very recognizable the Black Pearl. Good job
