  1. Looks great so far!! Can't to see more!! The rear detail will be fun and the PF?! Jamie
  2. I have an old Lego Windshield (Windscreen), I want to use for a MOC, but, it has seen better days. I'm wondering, if there is a “proven” way to get the scratches out, or, make them less visible?! Sorry, if this has been asked, before, I did search for it. Thanks, Jamie
  3. Here is a pic of the neck connection. 2 #8 Technic Axels, 3 Bricks with 2 Holes, and some bushings. Slide the neck on and that holds everything together. Slide the head on the Axels and 2 more bushings, done! Walter, that was/ is me! All files should be there. The only thing is, I had some changes to model when I built in real bricks. Parteek, thanks, but, I think when looking at the looks fine. Angel, thanks for pointing out the guns, not sure what I was thinking. And yes, the legs should be tuck under the body, but, 4 of these, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30562, makes the drive motors 8 wide, the hips, have to be 2 wide for the weight. Add some Technic hinges and the legs. I played with the body but, making it wider didn't look right. All in all, I am happy with it! It may not be perfect. I may revive it later, but, for now, she is staying as is! Full gallery is modded now on Brickshelf, also! Thanks, Jamie
  4. Been built about a week now and no problems yet!! And, trust me, I was WAY OVER THINKING the connection for the head. I had a ton of pins, liftarms, and bricks in there. Nothing I was trying seemed to work. Then, using the axels, hit me, and it work!! Simple, yet, effective!! Plan B for the axels would have been using 4, but, 2 worked. As for weight Cavegod, your welcome to come over and weight it, but, I don't personally have a scale. Jamie
  5. Here is a side shot with panels on! To get an idea of size here is a shot of mine next to my BAT-AT(Big AT-AT) released this year by Hasbro. Overhead. The head. The head is held in place by 2 Technic Axels. She is 28 inches tall, 26 inches long, and about 7 inches wide.
  6. Wow, it's been along time since, I worked on this!! Anyways, after sitting in a pile of pieces in the corner of my play room, I finally finished this BEAST!! Pics are up in my Brickshelf account when modded. But, it seems to be on the fritz now?!? Atleast for me?! Here is a teaser, till Brickshelf comes back online?! Jamie
  7. I was wondering if anyone here would able to make this: The face is perfect, IMO, and there are no official heads that look as good, or as close to GL! Thanks, Jamie
  8. 1 - Zuckess 2 - 4-LOM 3 - Max Rebo, Sy Snootles, Droopy McCool, Maybe with in a new Jabba's Palace set with a Rancor. 4 - Cantina Band, 1 figure, 6 insturments. But, I would also love to Get an Episode I Jedi Council. Jamie
  9. I got it to work, finally!! I had to "right click" and "view source". Thanks, Jamie
  10. Hello, I hoping someone here could help me. I have made a ton of models in LDraw and normally go through the parts lists and manually order the pieces I need or add piece to my "wanted list". Someone I ordered from referred me to Brickstore and said I could make XML files for the models I have. Now, I have been playing with it for a day or 2 and have run into a problem. I imported the model to Brickstore, exported and saved the XML file, but, when I try to upload it to Bricklink, I get an "invalid file format" message. Is there another step I need to do, add something, delete something? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Jamie
  11. DW Bricks!! I order from him cause, he is in Michigan, about 2 hours from me. His prices are good, fast shipping! Lots of inventory, lots of new Light and Dark Gray. Good communication! 13 orders so far this year and no problems!! He's the first store I go to when I have something I am working on!! After him, then......who knows? Jamie
  12. I have 2 of these for sale. $20 shipped in the US, international can be worked out, but, shouldn't be much more. You get exacly what is in the picture!! I am also open to trade, but, my want list is fairly small right now. I am on the straightshooters list and would perfer paypal! Also, if you think the price is too high, shoot me a PM and we may be able to work out something else. Thanks for looking, Jamie
  13. I am in the US too. Michigan! The Toys 'r' Us in Saginaw had it, that is here I bought it. At the time they had the new Slave 1 and the Wampa Attack. I would have got Slave 1, but, they only had 2 and the boxes were damaged. Jamie
  14. It's out, I have it! Bought it Toys 'r' US last week! Jamie
  15. I would love to see an Ewok Village, similar to the Kenner one on the 80's! 3 big trees, a platform, elevator, throne for C-3PO, another glider!! Jamie
  16. With Lego!
  17. Back up again!! For now?! Jamie
  18. I was just coming to ask the same thing. I was in the middle of working on something, then, poof, gone?! I hasn't happened lately, but, it has happened several times in the past! IIRC, when it has happened in the past, it has lasted for a couple of hours and at times, a few days. Hopefully it will be back in the morning. Jamie
  19. 1. No 2. While, I would love to buy all of them, I have only bought the Statue of Liberty so far. 3. The Great Sphinx, Arc De Triomphe, The World Trade Center, The White House, Tower of the Arabs ("Arab Sail"), Petronas Twin Towers, Big Ben, US Capitol Building, London Bridge, Mt. Rushmore, to name a few!! 4. A large scale Castle in the $400 range, much like the Death Star, 10188, with alot of minifigs. 5. None, I can think of at the moment! EDIT: I guess I will add my Star Wars wants in here. UCS Super Star Destroyer, UCS Venator, UCS AT-AT, UCS Republic Gunship and a Cantina, much like 10188, with alot of room and a lot aliens.
  20. I have the first wave. Haven't got the FLW sets yet, but, they are on my "to get" list. This is a must for me. I love the series. But, I would love a World Trade Center set. Not sure if Lego would to it after 911, but, I think it would nice to see. Jamie
  21. Sounds simple, but, more work then I know of. Guess I will work on one see how it turns out! Jamie
  22. While I would love to get my hand on one of these figs. I am not paying $600 or even $1000 for it. It is one minifig for crying out loud. Anyways, I have never tried to customize a fig before, so my questions is: Is there someone out there, more skilled then I, who could/ would make one to sell. The idea of a McQuarrie concept fig in Lego is great. I just wish they weren't so much to get one. Anyone? Jamie
  23. I want one! Posts: 209 45% in Star Wars Joined 4 years ago. How do you get the DSII tag? Jamie
  24. Good luck with your AT-AT. I have been working on mine for the better part of a year and am having problems with the weight of the head always wanting to topple the model forward. I have more built then this, but, I was waiting to get more done before posting more pics. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=310047 Jamie
