I have checked Ebay and Bricklink, but, they both have it for double the MSRP. If anyone can pick up an extra and I would be happy to pay for your time and such, but, I $30 US is a little overboard. Maybe the price will come down when more hit for SW weekends?!? Jamie

If anyone can pick up an extra one, PM me!! I really want one of these! Thanks, Jamie

This pops up every few months. But, for some reason today, I started pocking around his Brickshelf account and found this. http://www.modelsbycraig.com, his website!! Enjoy! Your welcome! He says his RBR is finished and will unleashed soon on the world. Or something like that!! Jamie

Skipper 24, Thanks. New pics are added to the first post, I am sure yoiu saw that, but... Pedro, Yes, it will have an interior! I have about 24 seats for Snowtroopers, maybe able to add more, not sure yet. An engine room and armory. No speeder bike rack, but, it may be possible. I will when I start working on the body. Plus there are 2 deck and ladders. Guss, build one. I have CAD files up for it in my brickshelf gallery. That is what I am working off of right now. They are not step by step instructions, but, will give one heck of a start!! KimT, you ever get around to building this?? Yes, that is Indy with his ship and a streering wheel! Commander Flash, I am not sure if it is to "scale". That is such a loose term when talking about Lego, with Minifig size and such. But, I think it is closer then the official Lego version. Theirs was cool, but, I thought undersized!! UserNameInvalid, Done! I thought I out the resized ones up on here. Sorry! These forums are the place to be right now! There are alot of cool customs coming along with now. AT-ATs, AT-TE, Falcons and of course alot of UCS TIE Fighters coming. Jamie

Hope the mods don’t' mind, but, I made a new topic for this since this is now in real bricks and not CAD. One for CAD, one for real. Anyways, here is what I have so far! Additional pics can be found here, when moderated! Should be soon, I upload it yesterday! EDIT: For some reason, I was thinking there was a pic limit. Here are more pics of it. Brickshelf This is 3008 pieces so far. For a total of $396.42 via bricklink. Minus shipping, which was $48.20. So $348.22 in just pieces for this beast! Some pieces I ordered for the body already. So not all 3008 are for the legs and such, but, close!! I have some more pieces here waiting for me for the head and neck. Which will leave about 1600 more pieces for the body and side panels. I rebuilt the hips. The CAD model was just a start. I knew I was going to have to modify it when building in real bricks. I added some Technic Rotation Disks to them. 2 on each. I don't want to use Technic Liftarms, as the angles are way off. But, after add the body, if the weight is too much, I have some other ideas up my sleeve. But, I may have to use one on the foot I want to be off the ground, above a snowspeeder!! That is what the foot with hinged toes is for!! The only thing is after building this part of it. I think I will have to add a base for added stability. Which is way there are holes in the bottom of 3 of the feet. I plan on building a base, probably in white and using that for some added strength and support. Hope you like! More to come later. I have a ton of things going to right now and am not sure when I will get this done. Hopefully in a few weeks! And before anyone asks, yes, there is combination of old gray and bley in there. Some pieces and cheaper in one color or the other. Plus, I think it gives it a worn, weathered look. Like it has seen a few battles. Now, if I can figure out how to make it look like it got hit by some blasters?? As always, any and all feedback is appreciated!! Thanks, Jamie

Well the new house is all done. Paint, carpet, roof, electrical, and plumbing, ect. And, let me let you, I am happy as hell, I have now more projects around here. Took alot longer then expected! We are moved and my whole Lego collection is put back together. I put each set in a quart or gallon storage ziploc bag and threw it in a box. I had 14 boxes of Lego sets. Just looking at all the boxes was overwhelming!! But, I got through it all. It was hard, but, I made it! So, what does that mean? Time to start ordering pieces for my UCS AT-AT of course. I have made 13 orders from Bricklink totaling about $350 for the feet, legs, and drive motors. In total, I order 2,288 pieces. Which is about half the total pieces in the model. The rest will be for the body and head. I have received about half of the orders. When the rest of the packages arrive, hopefully this week. I will start building and posting pics. Providing Brickshelf is back up and running! Stay tuned, Jamie

While I am not going to get into a debate over pricing in this country or that one. Keep in mind is that Lego bricks and plates are made from ABS plastic. ABS plastic is made from, in part, oil. Oil prices rise, Lego prices rise!! Period!! Include the fact that there is a Star Wars logo in the package and you will pay a premium for it! Production of 1 kg of ABS requires the equivalent of about 2 kg of oil for raw materials and energy!! Do the math. Now, prices this year are alot higher then the sets last year. Even The Clone Wars sets had a decent price hike on them. The lead time to get set made, packaged, and shipped is probably around 4 to 6 months, correct me if I am wrong. So right now we are paying for pieces manufactured, in or around, June/ July, when prices were higher. The prices we are seeing for the late 2009 sets are high. The thing I am interested to see is if the current pricing will stay the same or come down with the 2010 sets. Now that oil prices are down likely to stay!! I think oil prices may also play a part in country pricing, but, I don't know!! Bottom line, they play a big part in pricing. Do some research and you will see. Jamie

I have all the Batman sets except the above and 7886, The Batcycle: Harley Quinn's Hammer Truck! I was searching for the 2 I am missing and that is when I found the crazy prices!! I am a completist (sp), I also have all the System and UCS Star Wars sets from 99 till now. Thanks anyways, Jamie
-
Hey guys, I missed the above set when it was at retail. But, I was wondering if someone could tell me what the big deal is. I looked for it on Ebay and Bricklink and the prices are starting at $50. For a $10 set. Did I miss something?? The only thing I could think of is Mr. Freeze, but, come on!? He is only $8.00 on Bricklink! These sets disappeared so fast where I am. I saw them one day and the next they were gone. Did Lego recall them or what?? Jamie
-
Count me in! I need more Lego! Thanks for a great contest idea. Jamie

For those of you who have the red Vader helmet and want a red Vader. ImperialShadows, this is for you too, buddy!! I am not sure if this is the right size or not. I may need to resize them. As for the raffle, I have 2 already. But, cool idea for a raffle!! Never thoguth of having contests for rare or proto parts!! I do plan on making a totally red Vader like ImperialShadows did, just need the time to do resize and edit alittle more!! Feel free do copy it thou and do what you will. Enjoy, Jamie

jamie75 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
EDIT: UCS AT-AT Instructions Hey Kim, If you want to add them, I did some for an UCS AT-AT a few months back. I still haven't had the time or money to build it, but, plan to some day!! LINK Jamie -
Count me in!! Thanks for the chance to win one! Later, Jamie

Hey guys, Not sure if this would qualify as a promo, but, I would really like the "Brickmaster" Star Wars Clone Turbo Tank when it ships, if someone has a second or get's one and doesn't want it. I don't want to pay $30 or $40 for the membership when the only thing I would get out of it would be the TT. Well, the only thing I would want. Thanks, Jamie

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
jamie75 replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
First, I would love to see a historic building series, as mentioned before by Rancor! We already have the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. Plus the Taj Mahal is rumored for later this year. Other possibilities are, Big Ben Sydney Opera House London Bridge Mount Rushmore The White House Kremlin US Capitol Building Washington Monument Jefferson Monument Lincoln Monument World Trade Center Space Needle CN Tower Sears Tower Arc de Triomphe And for Star Wars, Tauntaun, Wampa, Rancor, and maybe a Ronto!! What 08 sets will you buy? Or not buy? Why so?
jamie75 replied to Justin2224's topic in LEGO Star Wars
All of them!! I have every set from 99 till now and will keep buying them all till the license ends or I run out of room!! Jamie -
I would love to see a new UCE Batmobile or UCE Batwing or plane. A Batboat might be cool if done like a picklefork or in a hydrofoil style. Other then that, more minifig "scale" bat vehicals. Man-bat and Clayface. Jamie

Sorry guys, I had every intention of doing a review for the Crystal Reaper, but, we had some wicked weather here in Saginaw and I lost power for about a week. I see there is now one up, so I will pass on doing one. His is review is spot on and his pics are better then mine. Here is a link to review I speak of, hope it is cool to link to it, 7645 Review. Also, I want to show you guys the view from outside my house and down my street. Scary stuff!! Anyways hope everyone understands and wasn't looking too forward to my review, another was posted for your enjoyment!! Later, Jamie

Just a little update! I finally got over to TRU and got the Crystal Reaper. I have a ton of stuff to do today and will build it tonight or tomarrow. The pics and such will follow then. They were sold out of the Hypersonic Operations Aircraft. When they got more, I will pick it up. Should be a week of 2. Jamie
-
I live in Saginaw, Michigan, USA! I still plan on picking up the Crystal Reaper and Hypersonic Operations Aircraft, just haven't had the time to run and get them yet. Let alone built them right now. Hopefully this week! The alien ship, I am passing on! Just doesn't appeal to me. Reviews and pics will follow, if I get over there!! Jamie

I saw the ETX Alien Infiltraitor, MT-61 Crystal Reaper, and MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft at Toys tr Us today, I plan on buying one or 2 Thursday, I will try to post pics and a review. Jamie

Well, I think I am about as done as I can get with this in CAD. I have all the parts/ sections done. They are all uploaded to Brickshelf. I have also upload a file for lower half of it, that shows how I connected the 2 drive motors, hips, and upper legs. Now, if you build this piece by piece and follow the files exactly. You are looking at a grand total of 4812 pieces. By the time you build you own engine in the back of it and add a Speeder Bike rack with Speeder Bikes, you are well over 5000 pieces. I plan on starting this after my wife and I move into our new house. And after I rebuild my whole Lego collection from the move. Hopefully by the end of summer, I will have started on it!! Enjoy, Jamie
