I've built Tamuhockeys'. It is a great MOC. He actully built the teeth instead of using a sticker, but, the one with the sticker is awesome. That is a cool MOC. He built the eyes, and the side doors really have windows, not, tiles simulating windows like the original RGS! There is a missle rack, too! Jamie

Well, I have all sections done! They can all be seen in my Brickshelf gallery, when modded. I have also uploaded all the .ldr files (LDraw). There are 27 different sections! 01) Feet 02) Foot with Hinged Toes 03) Foot Hanger 04)Ankle 05) Lower Leg 06) Left Upper Leg 07) Right Upper Leg 08) Left Hip 09) Right Hip 10) Drive Motors 11) Frame and Body 12) Left Back Side Panel 13) Left Center Side Panel 14) Left Front Side Panel 15) Right Back Side Panel 16) Right Center Side Panel 17) Right Front Side panel 18) Top Back 19) Back Front 20) Neck 21) Head 22) Head Front 23) Head Top 24) Head Left Gun 25) Head Rigth Gun 26) Leg Strut 27) Side Blast Doors Right now I am working on putting a complete parts list up and a completed CAD rendering. These should be up in about a week. You can start building it right now with what is up. But, you will need additional pieces to connect the drive motors and legs to the motors. The body, side panels and head. shouldn't need any more pieces. Anyone have any solid ideas how to attach the head to the body? I have a couple of click hinges there, but, that will not be enough. The GG model looks so sweet! Hopefully around $100. Can't wait for this to hit stores, or at least S@H. Very cool looking set, IMO!! But, look here. Nothing compared to GG, but, still cool to see some more new sets. LINK When you scroll down to the bottom of the list you will se the 8029, Snowspeeder and new 8028, TIE. No DS, but, still promising, non the less!! Jamie

Mr. Mandalorian, their is an interior, as far as seats go. As for a Speeder Bike rack or an engine, if that is what your are talking about. Yes, both of those will be added later. I am not sure how I am going to do either, yet. If I don't do them in CAD, they will both be added to mine when I get to really building it. Jamie

Palin Jax, Yes, they are my twins!! The one in my hand (left) is Megan, the one in wives hand (right) is Brianna. I fought for Luke and Leia, but, my wife said no! Anyways, don't listen to my wife! Anyways, I would guess about $500, but, that is just a guess! When I get to building it, I will post a total cost. More to come. I have the head left to do! I plan on starting that later tonight after the kids are in bed! I have the side panels done! Jamie

No offense taken! I thought it was funny, in a wierd and unhealthy way. My wife thinks your looney, but, thats just her! Jamie

sigpro, As I said before, good start, but, you still have alot to do!! Keep it coming!! goggleson, I should be able to I don't see why not. Part of the reason I am building it sections is so I can order all the pieces for the feet. Build them. A week or 2 later order the ankles and maybe the lower legs! On a side note. Please do something about the pic in your sig! A half naked guy holding a Lego set is really scary!! My wife saw that and thought I was looking porn. Thanks! darkrebellion, Thanks! I have to finish it in CAD first. But, I will be working on it in real bricks soon enough! Also, more stills added to the gallery! Check them out. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=310047 Enjoy, Jamie

Sigpro: A saddle is a good idea. But, no! I am doing it all in CAD right now. I don't know if the legs and hips can support the weight of it yet. I may have to attach them in a different way. Yes, it is Minifig scale! Good start in yours! Love to see it when it is finished! morten_sonne: Yes, it is Minifig scale, sorta! Maybe alittle bigger or smaller. But, it is close. And yes, the parts lists will be avalible for the sections when you download the files. If you haven't downloaded Ldraw, go to www.ldraw.org and check it out. It is the program I am using to "build" this. Plus, you will need it to view the files when I upload them to Brickshelf. Anyways, as I said before, the files for the sections, I am "building" will be on Brickshelf in a few weeks. I need finish a couple more sections, Mainly the head. But, I also have to "fine tune" it. Thanks, Jamie

Copmike: How tall? Umm.....really tall!! Not sure, honestly. Feel free to downlaod as many as you want!! Asuka: Thanks!! Dunamis: Thanks, I have the Front Side Panels(both sides) and the Head to do yet. Plus, I need to add them to the model! Faramir: Yes and no! It has an interior to a point! I am not doing an engine for it in CAD. I will do one when I built in real bricks. This way, when someone downloads it and builds one themselves, they can build the engine the way they want! But, I did add seats, a computer, gunracks, and lights. JimButcher: Thanks!! Palin Jax: Yes, I plan on it, but, I am not doing it CAD. I will add them when I do it real bricks. DutchRebel: I probably will not do step by step instructions, but, will make all CAD files avalible for downlaod via Brickshelf! Natman4000: You can! www.ldraw.org Have fun!! mutley777: Thanks!! Yes, there will be plenty of room for an engine, Speeder Bikes Racks, and troops!! Jamie

Ever wanted to build one, but, didn't know where to start. Me too!! So, to make it easier for me to do, I decided to try my hand doing one in MLCAD first! This is what I have so far. It is a WIP, so be gentle!! I would also like to say thanks to Lowlead and Davee123, on FBTB. And Brickplumber on Flickr, for their consent and inspiration. I have spoke to them all and they are all waiting to see what I come up with! I'm working off all 3 of theirs to make one. Plus adding alot of my own details. Also, I am doing it in sections. Feet, ankles, lower legs, ect. This will make it easier to order pieces for it and build it. Once I have it all done, I will make it all avalible for free on Brickshelf. I hope someone will use them to make one of their own! Right now, I am at about 3200 pieces and not done yet. I still have to do the head and body panels! So, it should be about 4000 when I am done! Jamie

Sorry guys, but, I thought it was kinda crappy to say something like that when Bob doesn't even know the guy! He just set me off!! Obviously the guy has money, but, we know nothing else about him. I have room set up in my basement for my collection. Kids know daddy's room is off limits! They play with their toys and Lego, not dads! I edited my post. Hope this helps, Jamie
-
Wow, wow, wow, back up here Bob!! I am 32, I have a wife, 3 kids, I work full time, a drummer in metal band, and I have a life!! I also have been collecting Star Wars Lego sets since 99 and I have them all!! I buy one of them all, cause I love Star Wars. I also collect some of the Kenner figs. What is wrong with that?? Think before you insult someone! Jamie

Help choose a Lego Star Wars 10th annaversiry set (2009)
jamie75 replied to Legoman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, this is the 10th anniversary of Lego making Star Wars sets. So, I would think it should be something related to all 6 movies. The problems with that is the only thing I can think of that was in all 6 movies was R2 and 3PO. UCS R2 and 3PO anyone?? They represent all 6 movies, well, but, may not be the best choice! So coming in next on my list would be, in no order. UCS Imperial Shuttle with minifigs Ewok Village, like the old Kenner set Jedi Council Chambers with all 12 Masters, not sure if it should be TPM, AOTC, or ROTS, but, still cool. UCS Nebulon-B UCS Venator Jamie -
Is the 6968 mini wookiee attack an official set?
jamie75 replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
IIRC, it was a prototype that never made in into mass production. But, Lego went as far as to make instructions for it. They did release the instructions on there website and they can be found on Brickshelf. Here is Brickshelf link, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/search.c...6968&stype=dfic Jamie -
The part you quoted was refering to the $300 sets. Jamie
-
Dang, Mike running around with a gun and yoda is ticked off. >:-) Hate to be on there bad side about now! Save the complaining till after we see some official pics and a more concrete price list! Jamie
-
I ask cause I was on Lugnet earlier and noticed the ISD was released in 2002. The Death Star II was released in 2005. So, maybe this year we will see the release of another $300 model. Probably Clone War related. If so, my money is on a Venator or Acclamator. But, an UCS RGS or AT-TE would be awesome!! I buy any of them!! On a cheaper note, in 2002 they also released Yoda. Which is considered an UCS and in 2005, they released the Sandcrawler. Which is not an UCS, but, is an expensive model, $140 US. So maybe they will release a smaller UCS set too. Maybe an A-Wing for the OT fans or ETA-2 for the PT fans. I excluded the GG set cause we still are not sure what it is. And the Death Star set is probably a playset of sorts!! What do you think, Jamie
-
YEAH, what Copmike said! He summed my opinion up perfectly!! Anymore complaining and I will give the Cop permission to use dead force. 8-| Everyone needs to keep in mind that: 1)these a prelim pics, the models, figs, stickers, boxes, everything can change between now and when they are released! 2)prices are not set in stone. These were taken from an Australian source. So US and EU price will be different. Mike, put the gun down, here's a cookie, calm down. Not yet! X-D Personally, I love the sets and will buy them all!! Maybe multiples of some!! And, I thank Lego for giving us what they have!! Jamie
-
In-feaking-credible!! Both are awesome, stunning, flawless!! I think you get the picture, I like!! Jamie
-
Could you be a little specific. a page number, a pic. Something, first thing on the front is vague. Are you talking about the lights on the front of the ship? Jamie
-
Keep in mind that these a prelims. But, I was wondering if the P-38 would have a solid canopy or trans-whatever?? As Morgan said. The figs will change from the boxes, as Yoda said. The BD is not listed on the box for the AT-TE. So it may have more or less. Regarding the Clone MF, I'm wondering if they be Episode II looking with cartoony printing on them like the Clone Wars cartoon or like the clones from the original AT-TE and RGS. The V-19 and P-38 look like $50 sets now. I wasn't sure before, but, didn't want to pass judgement till I saw pics! Jamie
-
Holy crap!! Magna Fighter is a P-38. I tried building that ship in UCS before. It didn't turn out the way I want thou!! Torrent is awesome, can't wait for these sets to hit. As for the AT-TE. The only differences I see are the legs, they look alittle bulkier. Other then that, there are only afew changes I see! But, don't get wrong, it is still awesome and I will buy aleast one!! Can't wait to see more pics, RGS and the Tank mostly. Jamie
-
Ya know, I was going to look up this thread and ask the same question. What up Rex?? Pics, review, anything?? Please, no nude swooshing! Jamie
-
Where from?? US, Europe?? Jamie
-
Great start!! Can't wait to see the rest!! I was thinking of doing a Hoth diorama and thinking of using the DSII to build the ion cannon. Jamie
