  1. Gone!
  2. PM sent about Green Grocer, but, Flare has first dibs on it. If you 2 can't work out a deal I maybe interested! But, him first!! Thanks, Jamie
  3. For anyone else having an age problem. Just send them a nice short email and they will work to restore it. I had one too. Mine is restored now.
  4. Looks good so far. Can't wait to see "finished". But, seeing it come together over time, will cool too. As for the ideas, NP, anything I can do to help, just ask. I could work on a bigger one for you. Jamie
  5. I have already sent more then enough. Probably too many to be counted. FBTB posted something about a limit, too lazy to reread it right now. But, if you want to send some to me, feel free: chevy_zr2_4x4 NOSPAM yahoo.com Jamie
  6. I voted for the United States Capitol, Petronas Towers, Taipei 101! Taipei 101 could be done in a small scale, 150-200 pieces. Petronas Towers, should be a little bigger, maybe in the $50 price range,3-400 pieces . The Capital building would be ok in a small scale, but, I really hope it is "in scale" with the White House. I know it would be an big, expensive model, but, I think it would really cool. But, it won't happen, wishful thinking. Probably around $250, and about 2500 pieces. A couple of models I think should be on the list, but, are not, are: Arc de Triomphe Westminster Abbey and Saint Margaret's Church with Big Ben London Bridge Taj Mahal St. Peters Basilica Leaning Tower of Pisa Notre Dame de Paris Any of these would be a welcome addition to the line, IMO. I wouldn't mind them keeping the Washington DC theme going at the same time, with the Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson Memorials. But, the model I really hoping for one day is World Trade Center Complex. With all 7 building. Wishful thinking, Jamie
  7. I reaaly like this! I was thinking of making a Rancor, when news hit that we may be getting an official one from Lego. Regardless, I have an idea to make something like this when/ if we get a Rancor from Lego. Otherwise, I build a Rancor and then something like this! Is there a door built into it as well? Jamie
  8. Wow, that is quite the challenge and a great start to it as well! I can't find anything wrong with. I love it!! What will you do about the minifigs in the set? Skip them, make a new model, or use that day to comeup with your next model? Jamie
  9. So we have more surprises in store us?! Can't wait to see what else we are getting. Hopefully the Jabbas' Palace rumors are true and we get a Rancor!! As for the R5 unit heads, I love them. A much needed upgrade from the one we got in the Sandcrawlers set. Jamie
  10. Cool, now find some of the UCS B-Wing and R2!! Those are the only 2 I am waiting for now. The rest of the 2012 all look good to me. Thanks for the hard work, Jamie
  11. I hadn't thought of that before. They haven't made that fig yet. Maybe a possibility with the "new" movies coming out... again....for the second time. Jamie
  12. I like the remakes for the most part. Most, if not all, of them are major improvements over the previous sets. As for them being pointless for you to buy, that's fine, more for me!! I have all the Star Wars sets from 99 till now. Remakes won't stop me! Jamie
  13. I DLed SR 3D, but, I need a new graphics card to run it, so it said. So, I guess, I need to try LDD. Thanks for the help! Jamie
  14. I am working on something MLCAD. I have been using it for years , but, never ran into an issue like this. I mostly build with bricks and plates, with Technic pins here and there. But, Technic Beams with Technic Beams is a pain. The model I am working on needs some 4 x 6 Technic Bent Beams with a 53.13 degree bend, part number 6629. I am trying to line up more Beams and pins. But, the other pieces are no being very cooperative! When I play with the numbers in the X, Y, Z, and angle fields, I get all kinds wierd-ness. Play with one number and the piece changes on 2 axes. Too bad there wasn't a super fine grid for it? Hope I explained it well enough for someone to be help me out. Thanks, Jamie
  15. Something in ISD "scale". But, not from Star Wars!? Jamie
  16. Now, that is wicked!! 10/10 agreed! I love the wet floor sign, nice touch! How high is it built up? The shaft looks like it goes down. Jamie
  17. Personally, I feel you are being too harsh! 10179 was 5000+ pieces, your Padracer is 3450 pieces. It could be produced for $399 US! The 2 models you selected are not bad. The creator of the BTTF DeLorean cramed alot of detail in there, opening doors, hoses, SNOT bumper. And he did in a small model. This won't get made because of licencing issues, and cause there is nothing to help promote it, new movie. Not because it is a poor model, or crap. As for the MLB Stadium idea. That would go great in Architecture theme. But, again, I think licencing my be an issue. This has more of a chance the, DeLorean, IMO. There are some classis fields here in the US, which is where these would be most popular, Tiger Stadium, Fenway, Candlestick Park. This idea would be great for selling them at the stadiums. Go see a Tigers game, leave with the stadium. Now, I do think there should be some modding there from Lego, to get the crap out. As Mr Man and Fallenangel sited! But, this is my 2 cents. Even, if you feel that way, what dies removing your model prove. Post it and let the people decide. Jamie
  18. I finished the LDraw file for this. The file for it, will be up as soon as it is modded. It may not be 100% accurate, but, close. I had to guess on the inner roof area. But, built it up as I would. It looks right from the outside. The piece count for it can to 863! More then I thought it would be. Enjoy, Jamie
  19. Thanks, I was looking at this the other day, started working on it in MLCAD. Didn't know there was a thread for it. Also, it looks like he added more pics the other day when I saw his Brickshelf folder. Jamie
  20. Yip, pointless!! Now should us some pics of it. Info would be nice too. That will make the B-Wing, X-Wing, and Y-Wing in UCS "scale". Hopefully we will get an A-Wing in 2013. Something to go with the TIE Interceptor and Vader's TIE would be nice too. I would love to see Lego's take on the TIE Bomber. Jamie
  21. Wow, I have been working on one for while now and am not as far along as you. I am working in MLCAD thou. I like the idea of using with windscreens from the Jedi Starfighters for the canopy on the RGS! Hadn't though of using that pieces. The pieces you used over the back cockpit look bulky and out of place to me. A sticker maybe a better idea?! The ball turrents look small to me. I played with those using different pieces. The new planet sets look like they may be promising if there are holes in them to run Technic pins or axels through. As for the supports in the back of the ship. Which are a must! You may want to use this method: This model is from Guybrush or Gareth. it is not mine!! He built it year ago. Those Technic Liftarms run through the floor, up the ramp in back, and to the top. Attach the bikes to the those to hide them. They look ugly, but, look better then stacked brick in the middle of the model Great work, Jamie
  22. I'm hoping for a clear one at some point! I have an idea for them when/ if they are made/ released! Not a clear planet, but, those pieces in Trans-Clear. Ball turrents on a UCS Republic Gunship. A side from that, Hoth with Dak and Dagobah with Luke/ Yoda and backpack and either suggestion for Alderaan would be nice. Jamie
  23. As in Yavin Ceremonial Robes, to go with the Luke and Han from the books? Maybe time to build a Yavin model: Jamie
  24. We are still waiting pics of the UCS B-Wing and R2, too. I hope to see the Y-Wing soon! Hopefully if will be from OT, instead of CW! Maybe something will show up at NYCC this weekend? Jamie
  25. That was the idea. You bumped yours, I posted in the Embassy thread, and nothing on here about the Sandcrwler from marshel_banana. This gives us one place to post them, share thoughts, and gain support. As for them getting made or not. Time will tell. If one of these hits 10,000 supports, atleast Lego will look the possibility. It is better then nothing! I guess! Jamie
