So, the end of the world came and went without.....um.....anything happening on May 21st, 2011. There is supposed to be "something" happening Dec 21st, 2012. Personally, I think, nothing will happen..... again. But, I think it will be fun to watch. I think we will have one of the worst Black Fridays in 2012, as well as, sluggish sales between then and doomsday, because people will be buying generators, canned goods, bottled water, ect., instead of buying gifts for people, since Christmas is after the end of the world. And then, on Dec 22nd, 2012, I think we have one of the biggest recorded shopping days in recent history, since people will wake up and realize they were wrong and need to buy gifts for people. I work in retail and the other day at a meeting we had the subject came up. This is pretty much what most of the people I work with think will happen. What are you thoughts? Jamie

An Avengers theme would be awesome!! Here's hoping for a big Hulk thou. I really don't want Hulk to be a standerd mini-fig with printing. I hope they go the way of Hagridor a Castle Troll. And make him bigger then everyone else. An angry face for him is a must too. Maybe a head with printing on both sides. Thor's helmet, as well as Loki's would be nice. Iron Man, my son would love. We went to see Iron Man 2 last year and he sat through whole movie wearing his Iron Man Helmet with the faceplate up, and his Iron Man halloween costume. I tried to get him to wear it for Thor, but, he wouldn't!? Jamie

Check to see if you have all the parts updates. It isn't the file! There are 6 you should look for, providing you have the lastest updated version of Ldraw. Jamie

I'll be honest, I haven't followed the news from this theme. Didn't interest me! But, I may have to grab this set, just for the alien head. Might work for a Dex head from Star Wars. Also, I never noticed it before other alien, could pass for Ree-Yees from Jabbas Palace! Thanks for the review! You my the reason I buy this set, but, if I do it will be to do the above. Wow, that thing is amazing!! Great job!! I have been working on a CTT in MLCAD for a little while now. It is probably around the same scale and that is the only solution I found for the wheels as well, brick-built. Although, I used a series of wedges. Similar to the Death Star laser. Wish Lego had bigger wheels or rims. I love the dome as well. Is it motorized?? It looks like there are PF motors in there! Or are you using those as shocks? Can't wait to see more! Jamie

I figured out the problem with Brickstore and the XML is now in my Brickshelf gallery!! Just copy and paste when it is modded!! Enjoy, Jamie

Hello, I am having some issues with Brickstore and am wondering if there is a way to fix it! When I import an LDraw model, the whole model doesn't load. The total pieces for the model I am trying to build an XML for is 1232 and Brickstore only loads 990 of them. Would it have to do with it being a Multipart file? Any thoughts?? Jamie

I'm having trouble with the XML file, so probably not. As stated above there are 1232 pieces in the file for the model and when I import it to Brickstore, it says 990. So, atleast not till I figure out what the problem is and correct it?! Jamie

I was trying to get everything ready before posting, but, the XML file is giving me grief!? So, if anyone wants to build this, they will have to order off the parts list! -The detail underneath, should exactly the same as your! -The cannons, I used Star Wars lasers, but, I do have a file for your on comptuer as well. I can post that too!! -Now that you mention the tail, I see, I did screw up alittle. I'll go back and see if I can fix it without screwing anything up. Thanks for posting the sticker!! Total pieces are 1232 with stand. Jamie Looking at the inventories for the 2 Slave 1's, I would say you could use about 40% to 50% for the pieces in them and have to order the rest! But, that is just a guess. I was actually thinking of picking up an extra Slave 1 just for the Windscreen and Dark Green pieces. And your welcome!! Jamie

Anio and I trade alot of PMs and emails over the last week or 2. I have been working on instructions for his UCS Slave 1 model. And I think I have it 99% finished. It would be 100%, but, there a few pieces not made in MLCad yet. They are added to the model as notes. Plus the struts for the wings have some "funky" angles on them, I couldn't figure out. So they are added to the model on the side of it. In MLCad, the model looks good. And comparing it to pics of his model, it looks spot-on!! I have uploaded the MLCad file to Brickshelf, along with some pics of it. The pics are deeplinked. The file should be modded in a day or so. I will also be adding the parts list to Brickshelf soon, plus am working on an XML file for it in Brickstore. Both will be added as soon as finish them. Thanks for looking, Jamie

Brick Commander should be updated soon. He now works for Lego and travels alot between the US, Germany, and Denmark. I just got a reply from him the other day!! He said he has alot of new things to add. Curtis Black sent me the CD with instructions for his Invisible Hand years ago, I will see if if I can find it now. Haven't used it since I built his ship. That's the beauty of Lego. If you don't like something, you can built it the way you want. Besides, it maybe a cool transport plane with the loading ramp! But, I do think that if that is the way the plane will look and not an unfinished prototytpe, the sides of the ramp do need to have something done to them. They look open, which is not very good for cabin pressure?! Jamie

Agreed! 2, maybe 3 years would fine for Cars to run its course and for Lego to make most, if not all the main CARS from both movies. Jamie

Didn't know they were making a Monsters Inc. 2. But, if Lego makes Mike and Sully, I'm buying them!! Jamie

I really think, that if Lego wants to make a 2012 line for Cars, they can. The Die-Cast line has been going for over 3 years now. I know Lego will not go to the length that Mattel has with all the characters, but, there are still main characters from the first movie that can be produced. As well as buildings! I'm sure the second movie will have some too! Then again, this could go to the way of Toy Story, Batman or Spider-Man too. So much potential, so many possiblities, and nothing! Jamie

I am really loving all the new sets! Does anyone know the release date for these? May 1st? I also hope they release a big DINOCO helicopter with Mater, so my son can fly it around and yell, "I'm Happier then a Tornader in a Trailer Park". I love that scene! Regular blue is too dark, IMO, medium blue? Speaking of which, where is Chick Hicks and the King, Doc and Ramone? I can't wait for the 2012 releases. I'm not sure who is more excited about this line, me or my son?! Jamie

Having seen CARS about 1001 times, I have a 7 year old and we watched it daily for a long time. I will be getting Mack and Flo's, not sure about the ones from the new movie!? Not sure if they will have the same appeal to us!? But, my son and I will have alot of fun with these, I'm sure! Jamie
