Considering this re-issue of the Resistance Bomber with Finch Dallow, it's a great shame that TLG didn't correct Grand Admiral Thrawn's rank insignia from 75170. However, that set probably never received a second production run!

Fantastic TIE Interceptor! My favourite class of TIE :) Nice to see some plate-built wings. Lovely detailing on the panels. Congrats!

It is a shame they included C-3P0 in the A-Wing set. IMO they should have included a Rebel Technician or Officer. It could have been a great Army building set! :(

These Inferno Squad pics are very well hidden.... lol As for the new Stormtrooper helmet... I will have to leave my final opinion until I see better pics or have one in my own hands!

I'm right there with you! Struggling to find any enthusiasm for IX :( Merrick's helmet looks great! Glad it's the classic helmet design. The Advent Calendar has turned up on eBay now. Can't be long until it turns up in the shops.

Interesting set selection.... still not convinced until we get some more concrete proof. Now that I have the new X-Wing helmet in hand.... I must say I absolutely hate it :( Such a shame new variations will probably use this ridiculous mold. At least Firestar will hopefully bring out more Rebel varieties and General Merrick will be the traditional, superior mold!

Thanks for finding this error! The LDD export never played well with printed parts and I'd forgotten about the three 1x2 tiles in the cargo bay. I've gone and corrected the Rebrickable inventory accordingly.

I own an Anovos replica Rebel Pilot Helmet and in comparison it is not as bulky as the minifig scaled one.

I think it would be very unlikely. General Merrick's helmet in the Advent Calendar is the classic mold and that is not even out yet. I don't believe Lego has ever updated a mold/piece in a released set. A future re-release of a Y-Wing may have an updated Dutch Vander helmet.... but I wouldn't hold your breath!

I wonder if it would be possible to remove the visor from the new Rebel Pilot helmet? That may offer a solution :)

Personally, I have never had a problem with the classic helmets and never called for a dual-molded helmet. And it's slightly annoying when you have collected all the unique helmets. If they simply produce replacements, I have no issue. But if, for example, they suddenly produce Red Leader in the new style then it won't match the previous helmets.

I made this point in the 2018 thread. They will likely never replace all the variants they have produced in the new style. If the new helmet was essentially the same mold but with a visor piece I would be more accepting. However, it looks like a 'bulkier' mold to accommodate the trans-orange visor. I will leave ultimate judgement until comparison pics emerge.

The reality is that we probably won't get more Rebel Pilots for a while anyway, as Lego have only recently released the Y-Wing and now the X-Wing. They will likely never convert all the previous helmet designs to the new mold. Luke Skywalker, Dutch Vander, Theron Nett, Zev Senesca, Dorovio Bold, Wes Janson, Wedge Antilles, Wona Goban, Biggs Darklighter, Harb Binli, Jek Porkins, Barion Raner, Dack Ralter, John D., Dosmit Raeh.... it will take years to replace these :(
