Do you know if this is real or if it is just a hoax.
Sir Dillon replied to Ratshot's topic in Community
Now that your question has been answered, please keep discussion in the topic Prateek posted. -
By that logic, I'm afraid we're all inactive players. Thanks for the support Al. If you Imperials don't have someone you're particularly suspicious of, I hope you will join us in voting off one of the other pilots. Which one, I'm not sure, but I know Hincklina wanted to kill of Eddie, and I myself am leaning in that direction.

I've merged this post with your existing topic. Assuming it wasn't an accident, there's no need to create another topic just for thanks. Welcome to Eurobricks, and enjoy your time here.

It's no problem, thanks for adding it. -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

Risecracker, could you please put your character's name in your signature? I keep forgetting it, and going to the character thread each time is cumbersome. -
Sure, if you like. Let's all go in, the door should be unlocked.
-
I don't mean to overstep Jim's authority as leader, but we'll have to go into my office first. The other room is locked, and I don't have a key right now. I believe Hans Beckman keeps the key, so we can get it from him when we meet up. I don't know much about the train, but have always admired the picture. Feel free to carefully pull it off the wall, but please put it back when you're done.

Wow Jim, you seem to be getting all the bad luck. Does anyone know a way to tell if this is poison and not a side effect of debris falling on him? Maybe check if he has a fever? We don't have a doctor in town, but I believe farmer Jeb is pretty handy when it comes to cleaning wounds and such. I don't know what he could do to help Jim, but he could probably tell us whether or not Jim is suffering from a concussion. There should also be a first aid kit in the lobby. Some aspirin should at least null the pain, and there might be something to help with the nausea. I also have some alcohol in my office, which should help too. I remember Jennifer Chamberlain, although vaguely... If I recall correctly, she was young drifter who came into town looking to cause trouble. She was caught vandalizing some of our buildings, but escaped the constable and was never heard from again. Some like to say she is still here somewhere, haunting the town at night, but personally I think she made the journey across the mountains to a neighboring town. I don't believe she had much money, but as you are aware, we don't get strangers often, and let her stay in the hotel for a couple of nights. I don't understand. Are you saying or Mary gave birth to Jesus because someone poisoned her, or that Jim was met last night by an angel?

REVIEW Castle 7097 - Trolls' Mountain Fortress
Sir Dillon replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for providing us with such an in depth review Svelte. In order to add the index tag to the top of the post, I had to change one of your images to links. I switched the image of the king in front of the gates as I thought it was one of the least important pictures. If you'd rather keep that image I can perhaps use a different way to tag it. Just let me know. Thanks! -
Great work DNL! I kind of wish you had added some more changes to the castle, such wooden hoardings along the walls, but that's probably only because I've already seen it this way. The besieger's encampment is very well done, particularly their wooden defenses, but also the siege weapons and the burnt building. The explosion is very cool as well.

Thanks for the review Guss! I personally think this is a great set, and in ways is similar to classics such as 6080 King's Castle or 6085 Black Monarch's Castle.

REVIEW: 5988 Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins
Sir Dillon replied to Alldarker's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'm sorry! I forgot to add a poll for you. It's there now. Thanks for resizing your pictures. -
Did you customise it at all, or just recreate the original? In any case, it looks like you did a good job. This belongs in the Minifig Customisation Workshop.
-
This looks like an interesting game. As Joey pointed out though, this thread belongs in the games forum.

Daxflame, perhaps you could post why you don't think we'll see an Elf battle pack? Right now your post could be taken as rather rude.

Galactic Paranoia: Rebels, Day 5
Sir Dillon replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If we decide not to now, will we get a chance to later, or is it now or never? Will the Imperials' mortician be able to tell us the identities of our dead, or will he only be able to identify other Imperials? -
Yes, that's how I feel too! I'm not entirely sure what type of factory... perhaps one that specializes in building materials? Whatever type, the way I see it a factory will only bring pollution and other unwanted things to this town, disturbing the peacefulness some have worked hard to maintain. The last election was almost a year ago I believe, but I've kind of lost count. The election in Willoughby is mostly just for ceremonial purposes, as I've been the only candidate for several years now. I admit I enjoy the position. I just make sure run any decisions by the council, don't argue with their judgment, and everything is pleasant. It's only recently that we've begun disagreeing. Now, it's getting dark and you all are probably tired. We can cross over to the hotel, do a quick sweep of it if you'd like, spend the night, and then come back here in the morning. Or, if you'd prefer, we can stay here. At the rate we're moving, we'd probably be here all night, but then we could go over to the hotel and get some sleep in the morning. What do you want to do?
-
Right, I'll open the hood for you. Urm... should I open the glove compartment too? You can look at everything, but I probably won't let you keep any of it. I guess it depends on what it is. I can't tell you much about the council I'm afraid. Partly because I don't know everything, and also, there are eyes are ears everywhere. I believe there are three or four council members, but can't give you names. They are very secretive in all they do, almost like a society of Free Masons or something. I love the classic feel this town has been able to maintain, and would like to add new developments while keeping this atmosphere. Unfortunately, building this classic style can be unpractical and expensive, and the council doesn't like that. I think they may be trying to bring a factory into town, which would be awful.

Nice looking car, but this goes in Other Themes.
-
Feel free to pop the hood of the car if you would like, Jim. If you think the outside looks good, wait until you see her engine. So I take it we'll be looking at the town hall first? Lets circle the building so you all can get a good look at the architecture of this beautiful building. They definitely don't build these like they used to. After that, would you like to see the ground floor first, or skip right to the second floor? I would suggest looking at both floors if you want to see everything. I admit that I gave some of the people who left a difficult time, but I didn't mean any harm. Willoughby is a great town, and I hate to see it abandoned. Howard we are actually forcing to stay in town right now. Due to his condition, he is not allowed to travel alone, and as you might understand no one wants to be responsible for him. *lowers voice slightly* As the mayor, I do have control over certain things, but most of the town's concerns are handled by a Town Council, which holds the real power around here. They have been known to use fear to control the town and its inhabitants. I can't give you any details on who is in the council, but you need to be careful about who you trust around here. I have visions of making this town great again, but most of my ideas are forcefully rejected. I'm not entirely sure why, but the council and I aren't on good terms at the moment.

This is a fun idea! Here are my titles: - Endor Suprovisor [ My role in the Tie Army Game ] - Endor Administrator [ I got promoted ] - Milk-livered Malt Worm [ Another member was complaining about his title, and without thinking said something along the lines of "That's not so bad, it could something like Milk-livered Malt Worm." ] - Photoshop Equipped [ A title that was actually meant for ImperialScouts, but somehow ended up with me. ] - Keeper of the Rules [ I'm not sure if this was given to me because I was being a mini mod or a goody two-shoes. I thought it was a cool title, anyway. ] - Brutally Honest [ I believe this was given to me after I heavily criticized someone's creation. I liked it, and it made me feel tougher than I actually am. ] - Proud to Be Your Mayor! [ Given to me because of my role in Brickster's Emerald Express Mystery Game. ]

As far as I know, all the residents went to meet the train, and are now out and about trying to help you folks. Thank you, sir. You yourself have been quite courteous towards us. I'm afraid I don't get the reference though.
-
Ahh yes, I probably care too much about that car, considering how little I use it, but I guess I can't help it. You may notice that I keep it in top condition, and there's no reason for it to be a danger to any of you. Even if we had the fuel available though, I don't think it'd be much help. Only one of you would comfortably fit in it at a time.

REVIEW: 5988 Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins
Sir Dillon replied to Alldarker's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review, but please resize your images to 800 x 600 or less. I've changed many of the pictures to links, so hopefully no one will freeze up their computer when opening the thread. Once you resize them you can change them back to images. -

So... do we just wait around for the day to end?
