  1. Hello! Here is my latest creation, the Black Widow Tower: This stretched my collection in multiple directions, and as a result I had to sacrifice the interior space. Brickshelf Gallery Please let me know what you think.
  2. Thanks Fenris. The scene was inspired by such pictures.
  3. It does look like something went wrong when you edited the first photograph, but the creation itself is very nice. The landscaping is well done, and the architectural work on the tower looks very good. I like the bits of wood on the bridge and left tower. It seems like a dumb place to build a tower though. If that stream isn't redirected, it will continue to erode the rock face until the structure collapses on itself. It may be too late already.
  4. A simple yet nice addition to your line of creations. Is the tower roof supposed to look like it is disrepair? If not, you have a good idea with the wedges, but their spacing and angle needs to be worked on a bit more to eliminate the gaps.
  5. Looks pretty good, especially the head, but the body seems too segmented. I think it would look better if you either made the legs thicker, or the torso thinner, to even things out. I'm also sure LuxorV knows what he's talking about when he says the torso is too long. This does actually belong in Other Themes.
  6. It would be easier to help if your question was more specific, such as "how can I improve this model's arm?", etc., or if you had some reference pictures. As it is, it will be difficult to give you any definite building suggestions. I advise to look through other animal creations for inspiration and good techniques, (Micah Berger and Hopeso009 are two I recommend), and then start building. Experiment with different pieces and try to find what works for you.
  7. That should be available in early August.
  8. Yes, that's what started all the elf speculation.
  9. Jim had a room collapse on him, and then got sick afterward. There was no real evidence as to why he got, sick, but it's possible he was poisoned somehow.
  10. This is the right place for the creations. "Historic" in the forum name can be misleading, but medieval-ish fantasy goes here too.
  11. It also might not hurt to have a few extras, in case someone has to drop out.
  12. Yeah, that way we can find our way if the tracks disappear. I wonder if we cannot move the tracks because they're broken, or because it's only possible from the switch tower. I'd like to check the track with the others to make sure it isn't sabotaged in some way, causing it to stay stuck. I'm fine with going Southeast then.
  13. "The Bedouin monks of the Al Maghreb mountains developed a system of sonic chanting. The sound of their chanting would bounce back off any obstacles, and using their highly tuned ears they could paint a mental picture of the path ahead. However, you must always sing in E-flat."
  14. Calm down. Oky Wan was joking, and that post was not even directed at you.
  15. Do the tracks end because they're in disrepair, or do they just end? I don't understand why there are tracks leading this way if there is nothing out here. Perhaps some buildings were planned out here but never built.
  16. So I guess that danger sign may not just be for show. I wonder why the note was left here, considering we are already on the danger tracks.
  17. While this is technically a "historic" creation, I feel this will fit better in the Town forum.
  18. Nice work. I like the use of the dewback and the alien head. I've changed all your images to links. Please don't embed images larger than 800 x 600 in the forum.
  19. So as not to have the same discussion in different places, please keep the posts regarding the fake elf sets to this thread: [Link]
  20. As said, these have been discussed before. I've merged this topic with the previous one.
  21. I saved you from dying for at least a day. The main reason I didn't follow your wishes to kill Flak the night you were killed I also found out about Alice (or at least it was all around the same time). At that point, I knew for sure both Alice and Quincy were spies, and while I didn't trust Flak, I didn't have the solid proof I had for the other two. Alice was capable of killing people, and I felt it was a priority to get rid of her. I died shortly after. Even if I knew about Flak, I probably would have chosen to go after Alice anyway, as their were three spies at that point and only one Escape the Fate. Little did I know he was more powerful than any of us had imagined. I'm glad I was able to convince everyone to vote Alice at least. It's hard to say what would have happened on that final day, even with me alive, though I'd like to think you, I, and Bob could have convinced everyone. As it was, the remaining spies were obviously going to vote for one of the loyalists, and it only took one confused loyalist to turn the tides. I guess Darth Legois got caught up in the excitement and Escape the Fate's smooth talk and forgot what he was doing. No, you told us it was Kark, which got us all confused and wasn't helpful at all. I don't think it was the lack of clues as much as that it became impossible for us to find anything out without clues. The combination of secret voting and not being able to tell the identities of the dead made it hard to get enthusiastic about the game, because we had no idea what was going on. Were there any clues besides the microphones?
  22. I think you may have forgotten something.
  23. If I hadn't been flattened by a boulder, I would be turning over in my grave right now. I'm pretty sure that I PMed every loyal member, telling them who the spies were. I even told one (WhiteFang, I believe), that Edner was betraying the other spies. Once I was proven right about Alice, and then killed and shown to be loyal, I figured it would be little trouble for the loyalists to win, but I guess I was forgotten pretty quickly. Well, congratulations on a job well done Escape the Fate. Actually, I think you are a very convincing liar. (I'll let you decide whether that's a compliment or not. ) I believe a got a little lucky, being given a small clue that turned out to be solid evidence against both you and Quincy. If I hadn't known for sure you were a spy, you might have been able to convince me otherwise. JLBlue, if you're still around, what where the "obvious clues" in the first few days that we missed? I was sure that the helmet on the ground we found the first day meant that Shadows was guilty, as his character was the only one without a helmet, but as we know not that wasn't true. Shadows, was I actually killed by someone's action, or was I just taken out with Nester because I was watching him? Anyway, thanks to JL for starting this, and Shadows for taking over and finishing it, as well as the players. I had fun.
