  1. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant more if there was a couple recent threads that he was worried about people viewing and not seeing the pictures. If someone looks in a thread and finds that the images are missing, they probably won't look in the community forum to find the answer, so it might be helpful to have a notice in the thread.
  2. At least for me, the left side of the box is kind of dark, like there could have been a gun down there... even if I (or anyone else) had noticed that, I don't know how much good it would have done. We knew there was a rat, so even if he had a gun, that wouldn't help us find him. Did Johnny and Quarryoni know what happened to them? Quarryoni especially was rather vague about the attacks. The clues were very good though, and I'm annoyed I didn't get more of them, especially when we all went on that last mission. Sorry I was slow in voting. I would confer with Alice beforehand, which probably slowed it down. I forgot to say that I liked your sets. Being able to see the locations and people add a lot of atmosphere to the game. My favourites were the foggy dock, and the way you made Piav leaning against a pillar in the warehouse. Alicia, I still love you too. I hope they buried us next to each other.
  3. While apology topics are usually frowned upon, I see this as okay, as it serves as a notice to let us know his pictures won't be showing up. In the future however, this type of thing would probably be better suited as a post in the individual topics that you've posted photos.
  4. Wow, that was quite the game! Thanks very much Hinckley, I had a blast playing it. Congratulations Shadows, well played. When you told me that "we shouldn't trust Iris", I became very suspicious of you, because that just seems like a stupid thing to say. I never did anything about it, though even if I did I'm not sure if it would have mattered... everyone trusted you, and they obviously didn't trust me. The highlight of the game for me was probably living through the day when JLBlue announced I was having an affair with Alicia. I never really believed I would last, so I was thrilled when I did. If Dragonator had any other night action, I probably would have been killed, but fortunately for me, the Night Killer was an weird role that we had never seen before, and that combined with Dragon's frequent disappearances (which wasn't really his fault) were enough to make him look more like a rat than I did. I was lucky that no one seemed to remember when Iris said on the first day that her Night Killer was one of us. Was there any good reason for you guys voting me off other than a feeling? I understand I looked suspicious when I killed Pavarti like that (which was not my fault!), but I had also thought that it would be obvious that I was innocent, considering Iris said "don't kill the hitman!" and the overalls thing. Even though my special role was a small one, I'm very glad I got it. Protecting Alicia never did anything, but it made me feel important, and Alice and I exchanged dozens of private messages throughout the game, which made it much more interesting. Last game, I just waited around for the days to start, but this time I had someone to discuss the game with, which allowed me to become much more involved than I might have otherwise. Alice, even though you helped kill me, I'm glad you weren't the rat. Hinckley, what would have happened if my landmine went off? I admit I was half hoping for one of the night killers to attack me, just to see what it was, though it probably would have killed me. Also, was there any reason behind me loosing Alice's vote besides trying to turn us on each other? It's too bad Zabrina was killed off so early, we could have really used her powers towards the end. Johnny did his best, but because he could only see whether they had a night action, I think it led us to some false pretensions. As far as the game play itself goes, I think Hinckley did a great job mixing it up without making it uneven or sloppy. Something that bugged me though was that people came late to the meetings. Once we realized that those who came in late had night actions, I think it became unfair to them. Thanks again Hinckley, and thanks to everyone who played.
  5. Hah! That's from when someone (Hinckley, I believe) tried to use your head to bash open the desk in Mystery Manor, but was unsuccessful.
  6. I already looked like I had a bullet in my face, so now, even though I'm dead I don't look any different.
  7. You all deserve to die slowly at the hands of the rats for your stupidity. Ah well, thanks Hinckley, this was a lot of fun and I lasted longer than I expected. I'll probably post more thoughts once the game is done.
  8. Very interesting concept. The elk design is decent, but the head is way too big compared to the painting, perhaps due in part to the angle of the picture. The background is very nice, did you make it yourself? While it's based on a "historic" painting, this isn't really a theme that fits in this forum, so I'll move it over to Other Themes. By the way, we're not supposed to embed images larger than 800 x 600, so I've changed your picture to a thumbnail.
  9. Another nice addition, I particularly like the Ivan the Terrible vignette. My one suggestion would be to post only one picture of each vignette, and link to the others. In my opinion that would make the format cleaner.
  10. BrickArms has graciously offered to provide the winners of the Castle Community Build Contest with a variety of new Castle BrickArms accessories in several different colors. Hinckley has also agreed to donate some Brickforge items as prizes. To read more about the contest, see the Rules and Discussion thread.
  11. Update: BrickArms has now graciously offered to provide the winners of the contest with a variety of new Castle BrickArms accessories in several different colors. Hinckley will also donate some Brickforge items as prizes. Many thanks to both of them!
  12. Can you please tell us what happened to you last night?
  13. Very funny idea and good execution. Are you planning on creating more of the adventures of Sulfurix Jones? Because this is a combination of a licensed theme and an "other" theme, I'm going to move this into the Other Themes forum.
  14. Interesting points Ian. I am very curious about what happened to Quarrioni if he didn't go out last night, but agree that there is the possibility of this being some type of misleading occurrence.
  15. You want to try and take it?! Back off! I'm not afraid to use it!
  16. Quarrioni, who did you target last night? Do you know who gave you the wounds? Do you guys think that it's possible for someone to be a renegade? Not working for the feds, but not loyal to the family either, working only for his own gain.
  17. I also have the loaded pistol from the other room... maybe we could shoot the lock? I'll search the underside of the table.
  18. Brilliant! and built so shortly after the first. This is a really beautiful castle. I especially like the wooden battlements, and choices of colours used for the mottling. When I edited the title, I took the liberty of adding "Hrothingas" to it, as well as adding a link to the first stage in your post. Hopefully that's okay with you.
  19. While it won't go down in history as a great set, this was a nice way to get a king for those of us who couldn't afford or didn't want the larger sets. Good review, though I think you used more words than there are pieces in the set.
  20. Nice! A fun idea and well executed creation.
  21. Nice little alternate model JCC. According to the EB guidelines however, embedded pictures should be 800 x 600 or less, so I've changed your images to links. Please view the Tutorial Index to see how to resize your images, as well as other useful information.
  22. Please do not start creation topics until you are ready to post the pictures.
  23. A neat creation full of charm. The rock platform is very well done, and the tower looks worn and past its prime. The checkered patterns on the walls are a fine touch, and breaks up the greys nicely. The spring is the only thing I dislike. As the water runs, it would cut a path through the rock; having it going up and over the terrain appears strange. The dock also looks a little off to me. Perhaps something built sideways on headlights like [this] could look better?
  24. Why do you all believe everything Iris says, yet don't believe I'm innocent? I voted for Piav.
  25. Very neat creation Thire. The posing of the figures gives a great sense of action, and the architectural details are superb. I think the use of Star Wars figures works very well.
