  1. While they're obviously fake, if you aren't comparing them directly with official sets the creations look pretty decent as a "create your own theme" type of thing. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pictures of the large hideout.
  2. Aha, you had me fooled. This castle exceeded my expectations, which were already set quite high after the first two. Splendid work. I'm glad to see you aren't giving up on castle, and I look forward to seeing the next stages!
  3. After moving to the city planet of Coruscant, retired Captain Harrison wanted to buy a speeder that not only looked stylish, but one that could also handle the dangerous roads with ease. Thus arrives the Erbrcks-409. Custom built for the captain, this state of the art machine has excellent maneuverability and topnotch acceleration and speed. Shooting through the streets of Coruscant, Captain Harrison will never again have to worry about being stuck in a traffic jam. Notice the captain is wearing a crash helmet for extra safety.
  4. Lt. de Martinet: I Scream Clone and I have decided that you will need to edit your entry in order for it to be eligible. While slight structure changes are allowed, the wall should be exactly or very close in height to the one pictured. I'm sorry the rules were not clearer, and hopefully you still have time to alter your entry. It's okay. Thanks for fixing them.
  5. I'm excited to see some new entries. A couple things: Erdbeereis, three out of your four images are too large. They should be no greater than 800 x 600, which means neither the height or the width can be greater than 800, and one must be no greater than 600. Lt. de Martinet: Your wall is too big. The area from the ground to the walkway along the top should be about 12 bricks high, and while one or two bricks of variation would be okay, yours is closer to 20. Looking back at the rules, I see I wasn't very clear in this aspect, so I may allow your entry anyway. I'm going to talk to I Scream Clone and he or I will give you a final answer.
  6. Very cool minifigures and great photography. While this is in a way a castle diorama, I think it might be more appreciated in the Minifigure Customization forum. I can move it there if you'd like.
  7. Yes, you are supposed to know everything! I meant if Scouts never made a figure at all, then Dragonator would have had to come up with a different clue, because we wouldn't have any single piece that relates directly to Spencer.
  8. Dragonator, what would you have used instead of Spencer's hat if ImperialScouts never made himself a minifigure to use as his character?
  9. Well done Sandy! I figured out that the missing sword over the mantle was probably the murder weapon, but that was about all. Thanks Dragonator for putting all the work into this! It was fun.
  10. Nice castle Talin Agasan, but as mentioned, your pictures are not very good, which makes it hard to appreciate your creation. There's some useful suggestions about photography and backdrops in our [Tutorial Index]. One suggestion would be to use something to support your camera. I've found LEGO bricks or books work well for this.
  11. Neat little vehicle, but I think it needs a large central rotor, or something else to even it out. As of now, it looks like it would just flip over when turned on. This belongs in other themes; I'll move it there.
  12. Nice job Brickster! It's good to see you building more Gravestone. I agree that some mottling could look good, but that might in part be because of the photograph. While your editing is good, it can make it hard to fully appreciate the creation. I think a picture against a brighter background under natural light could improve the appearance of the building.
  13. A simple but attractive cannon design, well done. Some kind of platform or steps near the front might be a good addition, to help ease the process of loading the weapon.
  14. Very cool building! The two tower-like structures on the front are particularly well done, and give the creation a more unique look than it would have otherwise. The one thing I don't like is the white colour of the wall at the bottom. I know white is accurate to the original, but having the stone and tudor the same colour doesn't look right to me. I look forward to seeing more of your town. Thanks for sharing!
  15. Hey, just letting you know that I won't be around today (the 18th) until Sunday evening (the 22nd).
  16. From what I can see, this looks good. Instead of surrounding the stone building with the palisade, I would suggest using those pieces to make the castle a little bigger. Everything looks cramped right now, and stone from the outer side of the building should work fine as fortifications.
  17. Here are pictures of the 375 alternate models Fluyt mentioned, as well as a castle from the idea book 6000, which was released in 1980.
  18. Could it have been this?
  19. There are many fantastic themes that I would enjoy seeing again, but in the end I would probably choose Ninja. It's a great, unique line that I missed out on.
  20. I'd like to chop up that beastly turnip with the knife!
  21. I'd like to examine the knife, preferably before Crawford uses it. It looks like one of the table legs is crooked.... perhaps it comes off? I'd like to search that, as well as the other legs and the bottom side of the table.
  22. Looks good! The various machinery and structures are very cool, and the waterfall is a neat touch. I think the pattern of the rock formations is fine, but the the mix of light and dark grey looks a little messy. I personally prefer dark grey as the primary colour, more like the far right side of the creation, as oppesed to the left nearer the waterfall. It's not very obvious that this is underground... Until I saw the picture by Pegleg Blockbeard, I thought it might be just outside the mines. I would recommend adding a slight overhang around the top with inverse slopes, to suggest that there is a ceiling overhead. As I said, I like the machinery, but it doesn't all seem to connect right. Do the dwarves have to feed the stones into the roller by hand, and then run around to the other side and collect them? At least some kind of bucket at the end might be warranted. Even so, this is my favourite creation from you. Keep up the good work.
  23. I'd like to look through the vases, serving dishes, tea sets, plates and whatever else is in this cabinet. We should take all the spare keys with in case we need them later.
  24. Great jeep! World War creations actually belong in the Other Themes forum, so I'll move this there.
  25. Good point, that would be the simplest and probably most efficient way.
