  1. It's been around for two years now. Here's a link for you. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15070#T=C
  2. We're getting 3 Marvel Studio films next year. GOTG is most likely getting a wave, anybody think or know if Spider-Man is going to get more than one set if at all? On one hand, the more the merrier, but on the other with all the awesome 2016 sets how can they top that? I envision 1-2 sets and then Thor might just get 1 if at all, but I'm not hopeful. I didn't think we'd get a Doctor Strange one and that one turned out amazing.
  3. Big fan of this. I think the attention to detail and quality is just top-notch. People have pointed out the writing so that's not that big of an issue as long as you are aware. The story seems interesting enough. Let me ask you something, I've been working on my own comic book and I was curious as to how you layout your pages.
  4. Could you imagine if you shrunk down to minifig-scale and went into that building? Wow, that's incredible!
  5. Never used this before, so I need to find the set which has the piece I want and then hope the site has it in stock? Seems a little odd. I wish it could just list it all out like Bricklink does, but I suppose everything would be out of stock quickly. Definitely going to be checking this out after work though, I need a ton of minifig parts. EDIT: Just spent $20 on a ton of hair pieces and torsos. Man, the selection was huge. It was as I suspected annoying to look through. I wish there was a way to instantly see all the heads they have available.
  6. Let’s dispel with this fiction that Lego doesn’t know memes. They know exactly what their doing...
  7. I honestly don't like the mini-Groot at all. It just seems too cute for me that it doesn't feel real, like they tacked it on to do well in advertising. If Lego does do a part on it, I'd assume they do a 1x1 round brick with printing on it like Plankton or something.
  8. That's one of the coolest things I've seen. I love automation when it comes to Lego.
  9. Wow, on that spaceship, the O looks completely flawless. And the transition from white to grey looks real choice as well. I like those engines on it a lot. I also really love real ships like that. So many times, it's always a fighter ship or some kinda escape vehicle. I like when people make things like garbage space trucks, or just a nice, simple cargo thing like you did.
  10. It's not even a real function. All you do is hook the cloak onto it and then it's angled through the use of technic hole bricks. Then you just move it up and down like a see-saw. I don't really understand why so many people are going crazy for that when there's a giant tentacled monster coming out of the other wall!

Hey, I haven't been able to tell this in pictures but do those new sand-green curved windows have window panes in them?
  12. Not sure how The Lego Movie has anything to do with the 80s. If GOTG2 was to make a reference to Lego then some space sets floating around or maybe a minifig somewhere on the Milano would be cool but Emmett just doesn't really make sense to me.
  13. Ah, yes. Finally, Doctor Strange! I really love how he looks like his comic book counterpart. I'm always disappointed in the MCU ones that changed them a lot like Hawkeye or the cartoon ones like Electro so it's nice to see Doctor Strange just look flat out awesome. I love those new trans parts to hold items and overall this set just looks nice. I couldn't make it out very well but I dig that throwback to Indiana Jones and classic pirates with those tiles in the background. Edit: Does anybody even use super jumpers? They seem useless and as a collector I never bothered with all the reports of broken legs, let alone the only play feature super jumpers have is smashing your minifigures into the ground. They just seem useless all around.
  14. I'm glad. The worse the figure, the less I care if I have it or not. Plus, I like it when it's a variant like this because I've already got Captain America, essentially.
  15. Here's mine. It's nothing special but I wanted it to be simple.
  16. Man, that sword is beautiful.
  17. Honestly, I play WOW almost every day and I just don't think there's a need for it. From the newest Castle line from a few years ago with Orcs and Dwarves and everything to the LOTR line which was even more fantasy. I just don't see Warcraft providing anything new to the table. The only way they'd be able to diversify it from the others is introducing a ton of new molds and prints which would cost a lot of money for a license that won't even make that much back. I mean kids today aren't going to be buying these sets unless they really make them simple which would lose the adult appeal. Look at Marvel, it took them about 2 years before they started to really experiment with the line and create a lot of new things. With Warcraft they only have one movie which is already past it's prime and a game which is launching a very serious and dark expansion that isn't exactly kids material. I just don't see this license worth going after if I was Lego.
  18. I love how you can see the foliage and everything through his office window. And that landing pad just looks really good. And oh man that mix of greens and pinks and purples just looks like a mysterious world full of wonder and danger.
  19. I like that Yondu. Maybe one day the Mr. T hair will come out in dark red. But that genie face fits more than I would have thought. Do they really break? I've found that if you put the arms behind their back and then gently pull away, they pop off perfectly. I've done it for years and years and never experienced any problems.
  20. Well, my Marvel collection is finally at a point where the only ones I'm missing are $40 or up. My latest one was Iron Fist which was a huge mess to get. I ordered it off Ebay and the package came all beat-up with a big hole in it. Then the figure itself had these deep gashes in the head and one of the arms. So I tried to return it but somehow I ended up getting my money back and keeping the figure. I'm no expert on how Ebay works but it makes me think of how easy it would be for a buyer to cheat somebody if they wanted to. Then I bought the head off Bricklink for cheap and I found that the green from the Exo-suit set is the same so he's finally perfect. My eyes are now set for Silver Centurion but this August wave is going to break my bank!
  21. I really like the bigfigs as they stand. I don't see what more they can do except add more printing and more decorative changes like what they did with Gorilla Grodd. I've never really felt the need to change their heads or anything. Their hand movements are good enough for me. I think the next change will be to move their legs.
  22. Really seems like the minifigures were an afterthought here. That's a shame. I suppose one could think of it as not being a reason to buy the set for exclusive figures but for the actual build. It just seems to me that Cinderella could have been a perfect fit here.
  23. Wow, this looks great. Those red leaves really look great, I didn't even know they came in that color. Lego Universe, never forget.
  24. Doctor Strange. If you went back in time and told me that one of my favorite superheroes was going to have a minifigure in my favorite toy I wouldn't believe you. Now I get to see him whenever I want! Captain Marvel is a very close second along the same line. (Though I would have preferred the classic Ms. Marvel suit from the 70s)
  25. I'm pretty sure it's only a reference to Robin Hood. The Brave aspect is just a coincidence. Disney owns Pixar, sure, but looking at the other references, they are all classic Disney cartoon animations.
