Second screw-up in the summer serials that I've found - Brutaka's Olmak is underneath his breath bubble, and yet no mention of that is included when Brutaka's Olmak is kabluified.

We need a picture of Vorx's back, and one in the crouch position of the canister, where he looks awesome.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those corpses too. They must match the room.

Soviets are on Odina now.

Poor Toa who was holding Zaktan's bowl when it blew up. I'm surprised Greg didn't detail that Toa falling down as the large shards of glass impaled his/her stomach. Also, I has my own Takablog. What should the entry for the 26th be? Link - Set the quality to Low if you can't read it.

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
Brickthing replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
?? I've already made a Jeweller and a Wizard's house haven't I? On a different note, I've noticed that some of the modules use large 1/3 brick high plates instead of baseplates. I presume this'll be fixed when all the modules are assembled, because the plates and baseplates are different heights aren't they? Also, are there any plans to showcase the castle to the public once it's finished? -
The Johmak part was a surprise, because I distinctly remember Greg saying that the crystalline being wasn't Johmak. However, he changed his mind on who had the Destral Olmak, so I suppose he changed his mind on this one too. Speaking of Olmaks, the MU is now screwed, because Vezon of all people has the only known Olmak in the universe, and he insane and confronting a giant wave of EP. Seeing as The Makuta doesn't want anyone else to know how to destroy the universe, Pridak's as good as dead too. Then we'll be down to four Barraki. Finally, Greg had better not find an excuse to kill anybody of the Tunnel Crew, because he's got half the stories best characters down there. Especially Keetongu.

Yup, I've been a member there for almost a year and a month. I'm pretty active there too, but I can't be bothered telling you who I am. Invisible virtual cookie for who can guess.

I like the flag and how use of Vahki staffs for the front. (sorry, I'm rusty on boat terms. Stern right? ) However, I think you should use more colourful parts for the pirate minifig, so that he stands out more. A Piraka head would suit the Pirate personality better, IMO.

I think it's the black background and elemental colours that make it so 2001-ish again. Also, what is that symbol in the background? Is it a new one, or is it just me not being able to discern something that we've all seen before?

The Street Speeder bears shocking resemblance to the yellow Cool Cars set, but that second model looks very good. Thanks for all the pictures, I might get this set myself next year...

The BIONICLE line that you're talking about and like is the old BIONICLE. The people who liked and bought the old BIONICLE of the early years are not the people who buy the sets of new BIONICLE. The kids who buy BIONICLE nowadays are used to and like the action figure sort of BIONICLE, not the Throwbot/Toa Mata/Bohrok technic style of BIONICLE, so the old BIONICLE has been replaced with the new BIONICLE. And remember, seeing as BIONICLE is a toy-line, it's dictated by the simple rule of continuing if it's profitable, stopping if it's not. So BIONICLE has been forced to change along the years to match the interests of the target audience, otherwise it would have stopped because the kids don't like old BIONICLE anymore.

Shop at home bulk purchase (New Zealand)
Brickthing replied to ColdBricks's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Yup, I'm definitely interested, but it would depend what is on S@H for us at the time, as to whether it would be worth the trouble. If the 2009 BIONICLEs are up on S@H for us, then I'd probably get them, because I'd end up getting them way earlier than NZ normally gets them. -
So who is interested in a UCS Mata Nui made of TECHNIC and SYSTEM LEGO? It would be quite possible to remake the CG Mata Nui in a UCS form, IMO. Also: I was driving home on the motorway, and I thought I may as well get that sign.

What program do you use to extract the pictures?

Quick request for somebody with a 2009 head - What does a Kraahkan look like on a 2009 head? I presume since it's a flipmask it might work out a little better.

Thanks very muchly!

Stickers don't last for that long, while printed decal does. The stickers of all my LEGO soccer sets are coming of in flaky pieces now. EDIT: Screw around with you're browser window dimensions to see more of the 09 Teaser than you should. Nothing new is revealed, but it's fun to see.

I can't believe that LEGO used l33t for the BIO-Codes. That's awesome, and totally promoting kids losing the ability to spell properly.

I had hope when I saw that Atakus's head had red via the use of holes in the mask and showed that specific two colours in the weapon is possible, so I thought that Tuma could do it too.
-
If you wouldn't mind, could you take orthographic top, front and left/right pictures of the new hand piece? I need to see how it works so that I can 3D it.
-
It's only Miru-ish without the flames, but seeing as the mask has the flames, it won't make the best Miru. Of course, for those willing to trim and paint their Malum's face, I do agree that they would have a very cool Gladiator mask.

Just change the photo number in the URL. I think it goes up to around 26. ;)

Finally, A new hordika style joint that is symmetrical! The head piece looks stupidly undersized, but the thronax launcher part is win. :)
