  1. Well, at least it's here at last.
  2. THAT'S WHAT SHE.... <_< >_> ...Nevermind.
  3. Prove to me how Mata Nui can have a Piraka Torso AND an Onua/Krika chestplate, and then I'll start being worried. I'm going to the shops shortly, and I had asked a toyshop owner when he'd be getting the 2009 catalogues, and he said either last Sunday or next Sunday (I asked a while ago). Here's hoping it has the summer sets.
  4. Probably - Legends sounds like a movie name, not a canister series name.
  5. If there's any resemblance, I doubt it's intentional. TLG tried it with Roodaka, intentional or not, but I don't think it went down too well.
  6. Probably not, as the can lids didn't really play a part in hitting the actual can. Unless of course they add an extra rule where you hit the can lid for bonus points, in which case these summer lids look harder to hit than the winter ones.
  7. By the looks of things, Gelu has White and Blue Krika blades and a white thin inika torso.
  8. Wow Trash, your modules just keep getting gruesomer and gruesomer. I love the details in the barbershop building though, and the tilting chair is great, even if it's purpose is mis-directed. ISC, the barracks look wonderful! Is the soldier that's holding a banana a reference to Monty Python though?
  9. No post - the staff will take major measures to prevent it. Therefore, if you want BZPers to know about the sets, distribute the images through other sources, such as Google and EB. You could also badger Populus to replace all his avatars with summer pics - he owns about half the avatars on BZP.
  10. Link. Apparently it may not exist any more though.
  11. ??? I didn't do anything!
  12. Hewkii9 - I just saw you're topic on BZP - your gonna get smited by the admins.
  13. Personally, I don't think the Mistika were any worse than the Phantoka. The Mistika Makuta were better IMO, and the only reason that people didn't like the Mistika Toa that much was because they didn't resemble the Nuva at all.
  14. Pencoin, if you want to make them squirm, pull a Zesk on them again. I for one value my BZP account.
  15. OMG. Now I'm even more anxious, because the scans are good enough to show us what they look like, but not good enough to tell whether they are fail or win. Stronius looks like a beefed up Skrall Ackar looks like a thin Malum Vastus looks interchangeable with Gresh (probably why they where swapped) Kiina is win, because she's female and looks like a feminine Piraka Gelu looks win too Mata Nui looks like either epic win or epic fail. Here's hoping that the ever-changing Brown has become gold for him, because that would give him some awesome parts. No comment on his weapon or the Ignika, because from the quality of the scan it looks like a duck face.
  16. Now that we know what happened in the Melding alt universe, what didn't the Great Beings get right in the real universe? Did they mis-access the situation, making Toa Toa and Matoran Matoran instead of Toa Matoran and Matoran Toa, or did they just decide to send everybody running away in Mata Nui instead, and let Spherus Magna blow up?
  17. I loved the Mata, although I agree about how good they are as sets now. In truth though, what we think of as bad now is not what we thought of as bad then. As LEGO has continued the BIONICLE line, our standards have risen and changed. Also, we usually judge whether a set is good by using previous sets as a relative comparison. There's no denying the the Mata were better than the Throwbots and RoboRiders, so that's why they were so loved and praised. However, they don't come anywhere near the quality and intricacy of today's sets, so their not good any more by today's standards, and the main thing upholding then are those rose-coloured glasses.
  18. Hooray for iVahi!
  19. Well, there's a cop, a shady businessman with a briefcase and some innocent civilians as well....Could be interesting... Thanks for the review, and I'm definitely picking up at least one of these sets, as my LEGO collection is deficiant of civilians, policemen and quality outdoor chairs.
  20. The way most Takanuva Blogs go, I don't think they merit their own new entry when an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview looking into the production of BIONICLE doesn't. It's the exclusive interviews and information that makes BZP good, not repetition of what's already easily accessible on the official BIONICLE website. I think all the Glatorian heads are orientated the same way. And yes, I'd prefer a Gold Ignika, but I can't really see that happening from a Sets and sales perspective.
  21. Still kinda sad for what it say about what B6 thinks about the colourists. For every single Taka Blog update and Serial update, there is already a topic open a day before they post that news, and they still close all those topics in favour of talkbacks. How hard can it be to close this topic too?
  22. ^ Congrats, but I don't think any of this is new...
  23. Quick question about the build - now that Thrash and others seem to be taking apart their modules, how are we going to accurately rebuild them? To you think it would be a good idea to take some instruction pictures, or would the pictures that we've already got be good enough to remake the module to a similar design?
  24. Lol to Toaraga. The problem with the metru-blue feet, Raanu's Yellow-Orange feet, and Photok's orange feet is that they're new style joints. I know I'm picky, but they're not the same.
  25. Makuta's amazing eyes and mind compute out the incredible amount of distortion that the ice causes. Just a thought, when Matoro froze Makuta, maybe Matoro made his own ice as opposed to freezing the water already there. This would mean that Makuta would be frozen in Protodermic Ice, and when the ice began to melt, the drop was made of liquid protodermis instead of normal water (which is everywhere else), and then Makuta used his amazing eye and mind powers (as mentioned before) to see through the ice and identify the LP drop amongst the normal water! I still like how in between BiA 3 and 4, while Vultraz was bring his blade down on Mazeka's head, Mazeka is able to magically put his Kanohi back on.
