Team Beta Community Build MOC's
Brickthing replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
OK, I'll link the pictures. And yes, I own most of the first series of the Harry Potter sets, and the torsos come from the older Knight's Kingdom line with Lions and Bulls - the torsos are from Bull cronies. -

Ok, I've finnished two modules and taken pictures. First up, is the Jewell Store: Here's the front: The side: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0005.jpg The back, with it's archer: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0004.jpg The roof comes of easily: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0006.jpg Leaving the inside of the Jewel Store, with the Jeweller who is cutting some gems from raw gemstones on one side, and a display stand with a magnifying glass for inspection. There are also gems in the chest: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0007.jpg On the other end of the room, there is a key for the chest and the Jeweller's pride and joy- a cut diamond: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0009.jpg Next, there is the Guard-Post, Wizard House, Dungeon module: The entrance to the dungeon: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0011.jpg The veranda of the wizard room: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0012.jpg And the guard tower complete with a quartet of crossbowers and a rotating double catapult: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0014.jpg The back of the tower: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0013.jpg The top level comes of to reveal the wizard's house: And the back: The ladder in action: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sprxtrer...le/dscf0029.jpg And finally the minifigs: -
EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread

Could you please take me of building the Dungeon, because I don't have enough bricks for a 32x32 module. However, I've built a defence tower/wizard house/mini-dungeon 16x16 module and a 161x16 jeweller module. -

I know I said I would like to do a dungeon, but I didn't realise it was on a 32x32 instead of a 16x16 tile. I don't think I have enough pieces. However, with the pieces I do have, I made a 16x16 outer wall module that is three stories. The bottom floor is a mini neglected dungeon, the second floor is a wizard's house, and the top floor (which is about 6 bricks above the wall walkway) is a simple watch tower equipped with a double catapult and a quartet of cross bowers to keep away unwanted visitors to the castle. In other words, the module that I made doesn't have a specific role, but it could still fit in quit nicely with the castle if there is space. I'll post pictures soon when I can. -

Great, I'm fine with taking instruction photos if need be. Can I make the Dungeon then? -
I suppose it would be appropriate now to ask Greg if the Endless Ocean Planet ends with "Magna" right? Because if it does, I think we have our meaning for planet.
-
No, Krana are for Bohrok, which are on Mata Nui's face.
-
What are your thoughts on the army of alt. Takanuvas? Way to confuse everybody.
-
The "us" is probably the non-existant Makuta of the green stuff. It's kinda funny, because now Brutaka is a super-powerful Smeagle. And he'll probably blow up later from too much power.

I think I could have a good try at the Dungeons, but I'm a bit concerned about how you're going to assemble the entire castle in one place, because I'd rather not post away a module that I create. -
Now it's much more legal for them to produce their bricks, and they can advertise themselves much more.

Once we build a module, what then? How do you intend on assembling the entire castle? -
LEGO custom Starbucks coffee shop on eBay
Brickthing replied to Badsneaker's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Wow, that seems like a great way to make money. I just hope the people paying so much for it don't think that it's a real set though. -
Yeah, I'd say that is pretty close, and the shape of the torso looks accurate. Good job.
-
The baddies are gonna eat these spiky and shiny fruit in stew, and they're as hard as metal, and you launch them in Gladiator death fights. If you ask me, that's a cool fruit.

I still think that Blue tintage is the result of the sky reflecting light on Fero. In other news: From http://club.lego.com/en-us/news/NewsDetails.aspx?id=90799
-
The picture contains blue yes, but I don't know if it's enough to show Fero as Dark Blue as opposed to Black.
-
Link? I checked the UK version of BIONICLE.com and I didn't see it, so... Also, congratulations Fero has blue on him, but that's just from the colour of the sky. The parts of Fero in shadow are definitely black.
-
I'm hoping it's either not there, or printing.
-
Does Tuma have a sticker on his head?
-
Seeing as Tuma is confirmed to be a tribe leader, and Fero probably is one too, mabye the new "titan" name is something related to leader or chief?
-
That's probably just artistic license, so that the set looks better. Kinda like how they edited out every part showing how awkward Icarax's rotating arm was on the box art.
-
Wow, in the talkback thread on BZP of the new serial, nobody is complaining about how Tobduk is so chiche. Ah well. Thanks for the CG Tuma Vertea, but I think that the box art CGI shows more detail IMO.
-
Wow, modular fortress! What an excuse to make us buy more than one.
-
That could be pushing it for an interesting plot subject....And people at BZP would go beserk as to why the demonic evil beings weren't seen around the swamp by Toa/Makuta earlier in the year. I would accept it if Mazeka encountered some kind of crystal rock golem or something though.
