I kind of see the entire theory of a planet splitting into smaller planets a bit too far fetched. In reality, a planet blowing up will destroy all sentient life on the planet and render to pieces of the planet more or less uninhabitable. Even though this is fiction, the idea that a planet can form multiple spherical and perfectly habitable planets after "Shattering" seems un-plausible. I don't want Greg to go and say "A wizard did it" either.

I don't see how you got that from BiA7 though...If Spherus Magna is the combined planet, then Mazeka and Vultraz would be in an Alt. Universe, however, for Spherus Magna to exist, it would need to be either before the GB Cataclysm or after The Melding has finished.

Mind explaining? My theory on Spherus Magna sounds quite weak, so I'd appreciate seeing what you see. Spherus Magna aside, I'm a bit disappointed that we only get half a chapter in Karda Nui with the vehicles. I was expecting it to last a bit longer, because the vehicles are the key components of the sets, not the Matoran. <_< A quick theory for Spherus Magna is that it is one half of balance, with the other half being the MU. Separate, there are Toa and Matoran (which are opposite in SM and MU) but together everyone is equal. :)

It's derived from a Latin word, but the Latin equivalent may not be related to the BIONICLE meaning, because I remember that Greg said that the names for each character were mainly just chosen from a list of pre-approved names.

He also needs to have the longer eye-piece, and a Gali style neck so that there is no way that he can look up, and his arms need to be asymmetrical, with different shapes and colours on either side. Plus, there needs to be extensive use of red and blue pins, and a newly introduced green pin, because the black ones of too hard to find. Finally, Mata Nui needs to come in a SE Toa Mahri style canister.

Quite frankly, the fact that Mata Nui is referred to as "Toa Mata Nui" in 2009, suggests to me that he might look like a Toa.

I agree, because Thornax launchers are one of the smallest launchers so far, yet they have awesome looking ammo (which had better become recoloured for summer sets) and they are build able (I think) as well.

Seeing as Mata Nui's gonna be a canister set, I'd imagine that his life powers would seriously be toned down, otherwise he'd own the other Glatorian. I'm hoping that they use the excuse that the Ignika's powers are severely weakened outside the MU, and that most of the life powers go into Mata Nui maintaining his body. I would love it if Mata Nui could do Zaktan's protodite swarm move, but that's probably hoping for too much.

No, I'm pretty sure that Tuma can be derived from Latin. If he came from the MU though, that would be cool. Maybe he's Iruini?

Post disaster? Man, maybe Bara Magna is the GB planet after all! On a set related note, what does everyone expect from the special edition sets? I presume we'll have them, as we had four last year.

I was really hoping that Tuma could be a Makuta, but that wouldn't work 'cause all the Makuta are dead, aside from The Makuta who's not gonna leave Mata Nui for anything.

I hope that the Zesk aren't as nearly as civilized as the othe Agori, because they've got four feet, four eyes and a tail. If they had advanced culture, that would be weird. Also, I wonder why Greg is not allowed to discuss what Tuma is...Maybe Tuma's from another world or somethng?

Lolz - Vorox riding on Camels. I wonder if Zesk are like little rahi for the Vorox - that would be cool.

Wow, 2009 is starting to get more and more like 2001, with the Vorox and the Zesk taking the role of the army of rahi (although not necessarily evil).

It better be better or I'll have to make up my own story.
