Thank you! Less generic/more complicated drivers is something that a lot of us want. It might compromise the vehicle a bit in terms of price, but it would add way more value to the driver. I think Front is a piece designer, not entire sets, but a lot of things that designers want to make are not sturdy,safe, economical, or "cool" enough for kids.

I was thinking that he could've been a Zesk that escaped the GB's tinkering, hence no tail, and his non-GB-primalness helped him to stay intelligent. Possibly him wanting revenge against the GBs for what they did to his brothers was one of his motives in the past, but now he has given up as he is fairly certain that the GBs have left BM. His helmet is the same because officially Vorox and Zesk helmets were always like they are, unless the GB tinkering made the helmets like that, in which case his original helmet got smashed in an arena battle so he got a new Zesk helmet as a replacement. Although it probably could be a new 2010 helmet that looks less primal. The limbs can be new posable 2-piece Agori scale limbs, that have pin sockets for armour such as the Nuparu Mahri ones. @Tyranide - The Grubzlas sound interesting, so I'd love to see them. If our project goes well in terms of canister sets, I reckon we could "leak" them as prelims before the real 2010 leaks. Someone on BZP fooled themselves with my picture, and the canisters only need to be blurry thumbnails! It would also be fun, teach BZP to not trust blurry pictures so much, and it might even help TLC by confusing clone-brands. Thoughts?

I've made my Agori for my bigger vehicle, but I'm delaying my vehicle until when I receive my Bricklink order for some new parts, including 44 Oragne Mahri blades for around $3. Seriously, the Power Miner BIONICLE parts are so dirt cheap on Bricklink that it's awesome. I'll post pictures of my Agori soon. EDIT: Back I'm still looking for a name for him, but he is a non-regressed Zesk that roams the desert in his mech/vehicle, protecting Vorox and Zesk that get into trouble. He used to fight in the arena for food and vehicle repairs, but due to his vehicle's weaponry and ability to pick up and throw other vehicles, he was banned from the arena. Now he protects his brothers wherever he can, as well as many other desert wanderers that he has come to be good friends with. When he falls into the GS, he at first considers leaving the search part and using his vehicle to escape on his own, but his friendship with Antrozek's Glatorian and his respect for how Mata Nui saved Bara Magna from the Skall causes him to decide to stay with the team and help them all escape. He is armed with a blade and two machine guns, which also act as the keys and controls of his vehicle. Not sure what the machine guns shoot, but all his weaponry and his vehicle use pre-cataclysm technology. An idea that I've been thinking about is that he isn't part of the search party, but when the search party is attacked by Vorox, this guy comes to rescue the Vorox, thinking that they were the ones being hunted. The combined weight of his vehicle and the other vehicles that the team had (for desert transport while searching) causes the unstable to cave into a giant sinkhole that lets everyone fall into the GS part.

Ackar has orange too... Although I can't see why LEGO hasn't made black hands yet. Bright/varying colours = more interesting for kids. It's probably the reason that the moons and UDD clouds are like that, so that the Bara Magnian night sky is more appealing for kids.

Aww. But those ball joints are still good, because I've got plenty of the original kind but only a couple of the new ones from 1 or 2 titans and some Inika. I tihnk I'll get a second Skopio if it's on a good sale.

12 of those new ball joints? O=(O+) I've gotta get double of the set if that's the case, so that I've got one for MOCing.

Envy.... I've still got to wait about 2-3 months before they show up in NZ. If at all. Do you like it though? And how long 'till you scrap it for parts?

I don't know what's up with the right arm of the Skrall though. It looks painful. BTW, 9380 is a Technic Racer set.

I love exploded instructions/views. I love this two, but the colour scheme screams Vamprah with too many colours. Try making it all black with tiny hint of a light secondary colour. I suppose we can always have him crouching when we show him right? I compared him next to Raanu when I was making him, and taking Raanu's 90* knees, they're roughly the same height. The MOCs don't feel like sets because they look like photos, and that's the first place we've seen them. Once we finalise them and then take good photos and make box art, then people who see the box art first will be convinced. The best news is that non-BIONICLE Lego uses photos for box art, so we should be fine to make our own look authentic. MOCing gives a better idea of whether an idea will work in reality, whereas drawings allow for better new pieces to be conspired. What if we continued MOCing, but then photoshopped the recolours of parts and drew on the few new parts? It wouldn't be a masterpiece, but it would have the pros of both methods for designing the sets. I've made the legs of my vehicle, as well as most of the cockpit and the jet engine/arm cannon.

Cendox if you want awesome BIONICLE parts (yellow, black brutaka blades, treads, flip-helmet), Gold Heist if you want awesome SYSTEM parts (Gold bars + hair & gun, metallic silver bricks from plane). The Claw Digger is a mix between both BIONICLE and SYSTEM, but the selection of awesome parts vs. price is way better in most of the other PM sets.

That's fine then, but I still think the flame is a bit dismal. Mine has a normal Agori torso, but both of our MOCs have Vahki legs, and your torso looks the same length as mine (albeit way more bulky and wide).

Isn't the fact that it's currently legal to resell the reason manufacturers are trying to pass the act to change that? I haven't seen anything about it in the news, and if not everyone is getting it, it sounds very fake. Why would Ebay only send a petition to some of it's customers. And for the username thing, somebody probably found that out along with your email, allowing them to send an authentic-looking fake email to you.

According to the BIONICLE.com character page, Telluris does it occasionally as well. However it doesn't directly say he's a Glatorian, so he could've been misplaced there. For the next comic, I've got a good feeling that it will be of Mata Nui going to Vulcanus (via Thornatus) and then watching an arena battle involving the Cendox and Kaxium, with the Skopio and Baranus attacking afterwards. How else would LEGO show of all of their vehicles like the did for the 2008 comic?

The refugee might be better proportioned with Bohrok feet, and the flame piece should be bigger. Maybe the new flame avaliable in SP3, Agents 2.0 and IJ sets? The Glatorian looks the same height as my Agori, so I'm not sure which MOC may need altering. I love the experiment.

I'll leave it as it is then. I made a Glatorian head in 3D, aligned it with the photo I took of the MOC, then I modelled the helmet and rendered it on top of the picture.

The Agori is 34 pieces.

I said a few pages back - The Agori has way more than 11 pieces, so it's more of a Mutran&Vican priced set. However I can simplify the Agori to bring the piece count down though.

Great, the product descriptions say the bigger vehicles have Midak Skyblasters. I thought that was going to be changed...

Yeah sure. Currently we're creating the main characters, so there are limited spaces, but you're free to make a character if you want. We'll also make wildlife and creatures of the GS, in which the more MOCs we have, the better. Plus, artists like Antrozek can make anything look incredible, but I'm sure your MOCs will be great anyway. Make a backstory for both of them, because the story and personality counts just as much as the MOC itself.
