    J2G, are you back in your "bad grammar/spelling" character? Why? Is it to say how stupid this all is? I agree. If we stop complaining, then it will go back to Eurobricks or keep the name (which I now can accept) and make the banner neutral to any country. By the way, I dislike the 'Murica meme as well. It's been driving me crazy on this thread. One more thing. This is the nastiest discussion I've ever seen on this forum. (Whatever it's called!)

    I highly doubt that there will be a redemption code, the quote just refers to his rarity. Interesting point, Mr Bill! I never thought about that. I would recommend the S10 discussion thread for these matters.

    Well, that stinks! I am so mad at LEGO for releasing the info pre-release, and also because Hungary got them a couple of weeks ago, and we U.S. citizens have to wait through the month to get them in stores. ANY other series wouldn't upset me, but Mr. Gold interests me more and more each day! They may view it as good marketing to get people into the series, but I've known about it for a while, and the info only makes the wait harder!

    All right, time for a new installment: The first is an obvious joke (the pun has been used in Batman:The Animated Series, but I put a new spin on it): The next is based off of a comment in some unfindable review of Arkham: "Hello?" The inspiration comment (not an exact quote): "The placement is odd, as anyone standing at the phone would be squished when the doors open." I hope you enjoyed those funnies!

    In the Decorator's bio, it says that he gets "every detail just right." Yeah. Uh-huh. Suuuuure. LEGO can just keep telling themselves that when they look at their first wave Batman II minifigures!

    I'm not laughing! This has gone on too far! I don't know if this will last longer until reverting back, but I am anxious for it to at least tone down, banner-wise.

    In the Minifig Encyclopedia it is stated to be chrome. The staff is debatable, as it has only been seen on the back of the pamphlet and Mr. Gold popping out of the bag on the back of same pamphlet holds no cane, while the large image does. Confusing, though the cane (if confirmed) and the hat will make Goldy an easy find.

    You like using Ten RIngs and LotR crossovers, don't you, Oky? Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad mine was a little bit of a thinker. I have another idea that I'll probably do soon (And Penguin will hopefully approve, since it's DC related)!

    This is just a (hopefully) a bad joke. Maybe we should put a for/against poll at the top to sway the admins if it's real. That may accomplish something.

    Hmm... The name ticks me off a lot less than the banner, but to be no-corners-cut honest, I hate the idea of even calling it Ameribricks. It's so weird that I'm American and protesting it, but I just don't like it one bit.

    Alert! Thread titles in the Website forum have switched from using the phrase EB to AB! This seems more and more legit as it goes on! Maybe this was timed to seem like a joke while isn't. I hope not! The 'site wouldn't change in content but the integrity of EB would be ruined.I have never heard " 'Murican" before today. Where did it come from?

    Notie that the Licensed forum banner still says, "Eurobricks: uniting LEGO fans around the world." I would think that they would go as far to change it to Ameribricks. The joke seems a little underdone because of that. Maybe this could count as evidence.

    This is quite a unique topic! I think it is interesting, as (besides the Royal Guard and Football Player) I never thought of the cultural origins of these characters!

    I hope this is all a joke, and I'm American! I liked the name Eurobricks and it doesn't bother me one bit that America is not recognized in the title. Ameribricks is more discriminatory than Eurobricks, so if it's real, the name will make it worse! Tomorrow or two days from now will tell.
