    It's an incredibly lame pun...and I love those! Then again, since when do LEGO set names roll off the tongue? Look at Vikings. I hope that Grodd is a bigfig, since DC deserves at least one. They're becoming less of a luxury nowadays, too, so it's very likely. If we do get another Manhunter, then I at least hope they fix the face. I'd love Cyborg to be in the sets, and I wonder if/how they'll make the likely Flash and Aquaman different.

    The S@H one's face is really creepy, it lacks the proper shadowing around the eyes that make him look okay. I'd love to see the Alien Vilainess cape in Blue, as well. That game version would be welcome, since they messed up the current one's head.

    That's a good-sounding rumor. But it's debatable. It makes sense, but at the same time, I would think that more JL members would be included for a "final showdown" scenario. MM makes little sense, since S@H exclusives don't get remade or rereleased.

    We think so. Images have come from that website, but a few of us (myself included) feel like something more than Black Manta is fishy about the list. It just feels a little strange to me.

    We're not sure if the Jet is in this wave, it could be with next year's BvS sets.

    Purple or pink would be a bad marketing move for LEGO, since boys are going to associate that with LEGO Friends, and stay away from the CMFs. But it could have the Cool Yellow color like the GG's hair.

    Now the background in the Japanese catalog makes sense. But why yellow again? It looks too close to the S10 gold and S1 yellow.

    If they make the pig cart, it should have a spot for Emmet to become the wheel. There should also be a chair for Bad Cop to kick!

    Maybe they'll go back to Batman-centric after this one, and go back to JL for the next one, to please fans of either one. A pattern of JL/Batman waves would be refreshing and effective, since they could make New 52 Bat-rogues and Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter, Alfred, etc, while also being able to make sets with the Hawks, Captain Cold, Shazam, Black Adam, and the like. Batman and Justice League don't work well together in single waves, so if the theme decides to live up to its name, waves of both would be most likely. I can't believe that they're done with Batman sets already, they must have more in the works, especially since Bats really sells with kids, and if JL doesn't as much, it's a handy fall-back.

    ^^ I knew I was wrong about the name! It's nice to see some optimistic reception for the movie, but from a production standpoint, it really stinks that they're doing this just to stay out of Marvel's hands, and causing the shutdown of a great franchise. I'm hoping the movie will flop, honestly, so this whole conflict can be solved and we can get LEGO sets...well, mostly for the dispute to be over, but still.

    Odd indeed. I didn't notice the lack of hero names in the sets. But now I realize it's a valid point, since virtually every other set in the theme references the hero or their vehicle in the name. Probably nothing to get concerned/excited about, though.

    I think it's odd to only have the couch, though. There has to be more substance and/or conflict to the set. It would be great if it was based on the water scene and included Queasy Kitty, so the Sea Cow wouldn't be the only way to get her.

    Not quite, it's more elegant and smaller, though similar. I was expecting this suit, and I'm glad it's in the game. Since there is a Suit Wheel, I'm guessing only one or two will be available in the levels, and free play will unlock all of them. Part of the level design was discovering the suits in the levels to advance, so I wonder how they'll be unlocked in-level without a physical Signal.

    That should be a helmet, it doesn't look like a specialized head piece, and Black Manta is a human wearing a suit, so it wouldn't make sense for there not to be a minifigure face on the head beneath the helmet.

    I'm hoping those are exactly what we get in the sets. (And judging by Lantern's set, they are) Manta's helmet is interesting as a LEGO piece. I wonder what his face looks like,

    I do like them, it just seems like ever since the first one, it's become his thing, and hyped up too much. The reviews really do tie the theme together, and have excellent pictures, and I do look forward to the next one, just perhaps less than others. I want to see if there are any double-sided heads!

    Hmm. Black Manta means Aquaman, but we already have him. We could get a new Flash, though I don't know how they'll make Grodd. Darkseid is unexpected, but I guess he'll be in the game. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual sets, but whatever happened to Wonder Woman and her Jet? Either that rumor or this one is incorrect. WW has no place against Gorilla Grodd. Interesting that these will be marketed as "Justice League" sets, I'm guessing similar to the logos for the Marvel subthemes. I hope this is just one wave's theme, though. Nothing against the JL, but I feel like this wave has less-than-universal kid appeal, and personally, I think there's still some Batman material that they should round off.

    Well, when we found out, everyone was frantic about the possibility of it being represented in sets. I hope the Hulkbuster is okay, but it'll be interesting to see how it could fit a minifigure.

    It's called "Ultimate Avengers", I think. It was discussed here a while ago. It's coming out soon. Falcon becomes Cap, Iron Man gets a new suit, and Thor is dethroned and a female assumes the title and somehow is officially the deity upon doing so. Yeah.

    I'm sure DC isn't only one wave next year. So if we don't get figures like new Catwoman, Harley, and Croc in this upcoming wave, perhaps we will later. I think it's safe to assume that the winter wave is mostly Beyond Gotham promotion, not a paradigm shift for the whole theme. I'm cynically expecting it to become "LEGO Batman and guests" again after the January releases.

    Well, Marvel has the Avengers reboot, too. But why is Fox allowed to make another movie, when Marvel tried to shut off FF entirely? It's really a shame, though. I'd like some classic FF sets.

    $20 sets usually have three minifigures, so if it's WW and Cheetah, I'm assuming a JL hero or Batman variant will be included as well. And possibly a structure besides the jet. But the formula seems like it might be identical to Green Lantern vs. Sinestro: Jet, JL hero vs. their archenemy, structure, assistant hero.
