I don't understand the humor of the last one. Why is Emmet there, and is Maggie really being accused of being a dwarf? LEGO isn't all about proportions, but I don't think that's really funny. Perhaps Emmet is the insensitive jerk in this (and the "bad guy" of the funny), but the joke itself seems bad. The other two are great, though.

I think it's a terrific theme and I am seriously excited for the next wave. I think it's a spy movie standby: the agents have ridiculously hi-tech stuff, and the villains have clunky, over-the-top vehicles. I thought Terabyte was designed to be a counterpart to the Agents. Both use a neutral tone as a base color with transparent lines and pieces (Agents-black with trans-light blue highlights, Terabyte-dark gray with trans-bright green highlights), and Terabyte is the best foil, since the Agents run on protected data, and he can remove it.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)
8BrickMario replied to The Joker1's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
It will have sub-areas, including the Watchtower, The Hall of Justice, the Legion of Doom, the Lantern Worlds, and the Batcave. Every game after Batman 2 has included an open world. -
REVIEW: 71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12
8BrickMario replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's correct. The character encyclopedia (which I hope gets a Book 2 in the future) said that they were included so people who missed S1 could get those as a substitute, and as a bonus counterpart for those with the S1 figs. That head's a bit too wicked for her...there's no perfect substitute, unfortunately.- 156 replies

REVIEW: 71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12
8BrickMario replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was planning on using GG in an "inside the lamp" MOC, somewhat based on the Jeannie shots of the bottle interior. And I think the sparkles on the smoke make it look less solid and more magical, unlike the S6 Genie which was also a reference, in which his tail looked more solid like his body. I understand the dislike (the face would be 100x better with both eyes open), but I appreciate her, since she's different from the actually Disneyesque S6 genie. I'd love a red Djinn, though!- 156 replies

Toxikita's helicopter is a reference to Dr. D. Zaster's, both orange-ish and piloted by a sludge villain.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm sure that the Wizard cape is the same material as Vitruvius's now, since after reading the review more carefully, WhiteFang said it was much softer than the average cape. I'd collect a few just for those capes!- 1,109 replies

He's misguided, but we've gone off topic here. What do you think Cold will look like? I hope it's like his LEGO Batman 2 design or better! -

It fleshes out the LEGO DCU. And Cold isn't necessarily a clone of Freeze, but I could pass on him, too. -

It was an American sitcom about a genie named Jeannie who served a NASA pilot, often with magical mishaps. This genie's hairstyle is almost identical to Jeannie's, without the headscarf.- 1,109 replies

Fang Trap, Frozen Fortress, and Lava Breakout...cancelled? No Fire Razar and Rogon? Darn it. Why are there so many problems with Chima releases this year?

We'll never get Joker for the New 52. They could pull off Harley, though, since the game design looks really good. I apologize for this, but to add insight, the writer who removed Joker's face left before DOTF, and that writer had to deal with a faceless Joker in any way he could. -

Killer Frost, Captain Cold, Mr. Freeze...there needs to be a "Cold-Hearted Society of Villains" for them. Freeze is distinctive due to his tragic backstory and his handicapping body temperature. Cold is a guy with ice tech. Still, it would be great to see that CMF Eskimo parka in light blue. -
That's really neat. I wonder what the other set is?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm guessing it's not felt, but more like Vitruvius's cape. Although it could be the typical stiff cloth. It's nice that the photos show the unprinted inside of the cape to give the finder a surprise if they don't know about it. And this series has the most cloth pieces in it: *Cape and collar on the Wizard *Skirt on Battle Goddess *Skirt on Spooky Girl *Felt cape on Hun Warrior I am still rejoicing about the Genie's hair! I would have been immensely disappointed in LEGO if they missed the opportunity, but now I'm sure the hair was designed for her and thrown in for the Tracker. Funny that there were no preliminary names/mistranslations this time. The names we've known have been correct the whole time.- 1,109 replies

Terrific! I love the Wizard's decorated cape, the Hun's felt cape is great, as is the Princess's hair. The Goddess has nice arm printing, and apparently, gold panties...The Space Miner's armor is printed, yay. I like the gold bells on the Jester's hat, and the Dino Tracker hair looks interesting, but it looks like it might be rubber. YES! THE GENIE HAS THE NEW HAIR!!!!! Okay, sorry, had to get that out, must get her ASAP. I'm very excited now.- 1,109 replies

Two Javelins is unlikely. Perhaps the info was made up when the Brickset user found the name, since there's clearly no details for it anywhere else. I'd love the Chima ice trap to be used in that set! -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Buying by the case isn't a practical or easily attainable method for many people. I always prioritize a few figures and feel them out, while filling out the series after I get my tops. (For instance, I'm seeking out Spooky and the Jester, or the Genie if she has the long hair, and then perhaps getting the Wizard, Princess, and Pizza Guy.)- 1,109 replies
