  1. Haven't we discussed that this is not a wishlist thread? This discussion is about information we have, not "By the way, this is what I want". I must admit there are several things I could say, but this isn't the place for it.
  2. I like her. She looks pretty nice. I wonder what abilities she'll have.
  3. A water tribe? Interesting. But where is this info coming from? That's gotta be a winter wave of Mixels.
  4. I like the new website, but the bios are very sloppy, being incomplete or inaccurate (Tremor is Louis Lightweight, not a junkyard worker), and the site ignores info given by the app and intel videos. And what is a "weathercaster"? Is it a meteorogist or a TV weatherman?
  5. The new cowl's ears are much too short for that outfit, but the discussion belongs more on the purist superhero customs thread.
  6. In the New 52, Darkseid is huge. Grodd is a gorilla, and a minifig would be too undersized for the character. Dogpound and Leatherhead are just awful, though, and I hope they never do that again. I like bigfigs, but the stiff and specialized nature is a bit annoying. I feel like bigfigs were necessary for the characters who got them. Clayface, however, looks good as a sandwich-board minifig in the first two Batman games, and might not necessitate a big figure, but could still be one. If we get Croc as the bigfig from the game, he'll at least be a little more poseable with that jaw hinge.
  7. Sinestro Corps Scarecrow really is perfect. I've always thought it was a perfect idea in the comics, given the overlapping theme. Who's the green Green Lantern? And the human SC member? I'm not very good with the lanternverse, I'm afraid. As mentioned before, Sinestro Corps Batman is an incredibly easy purist custom. I'm tempted to get another Sinestro for that purpose. Oh, I hope not. It would make Croc look too top-heavy. The bigfig from the game or even a minifig seem more likely, I think, and I would prefer either one to a midfig.
  8. Yes. Black minifigures use Reddish Brown for their skin color, and Man-Bat's fur is the same.
  9. Not on this forum. The trolling and jokes only increase the problems with this thread, and make it more off-topic. Currently this is our problem that we have identified, but we're all waiting for the moderators to step in? We can turn this around.
  10. The designers are allowed to use the classic designs if they prefer them. In the cases of Supergirl, Superman, and potentially Captain Cold, the New 52 versions may be made in the future.
  11. He felt the need to say something because mods have not taken action at all for a long time. But just before Mattdev replied, the discussion was about whether or not seats in the Quinjet set would be sacrificed for a bike dropping feature, not about the trailer itself.
  12. We were analyzing the trailer to see how the sets may reflect the movie. Not just saying the trailer was cool.
  13. There are also Magma Commander and the UFO Alien figs with trans-neon-orange heads, and Slime Face/Dr. D. Zaster/Joker Bomb/UFO Alien heads in trans-neon-yellow. Invizable from UA counts as well, but it's always good to get more translucent heads!
  14. Searching for the new sets!

  15. No, none of them have a hinged jaw like Croc's, and none of them fall of when they die. Croc's jaw definitely looks like a physical design, and since the game treats it as a separate piece of the bigfig, that makes it more toylike and more likely to be a physical figure. Both Super Heroes themes are evergreen, like Star Wars, meaning the contract will be perpetually renewed.
  16. I was playing LB3 and found one more piece of evidence toward Killer Croc's game design being official. He has a realistic jaw hinge, true, but when he falls apart, the jaw piece detaches, giving more support to the plausibility and realism of the design for a physical bigfig. I heard a while back that the Bumper Car was already available? Was that true, and has anyone seen it?
  17. I must admit, I have noticed a decrease recently in quality and relevance in the posting here. Posting false rumors or baseless speculation does little for the majority of readers. And we do have enough to talk about: the current wave, Batzarro, Trickster, Lightning Lad and the three summer sets. But when people say their father's nephew's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate has info on the new sets, it's not believable or constructive. I like to read quality discussion here, but I still appreciate the majority of posters' behavior and discussion.
  18. I snuck over to the GB online shop to get a good look at the S@H pics of the sets...bad idea, now I want them more! It's so subtle that it took me a while to notice, but Invizable has a LEGO-money print shirt! I love that, it just adds that much more personality.
  19. What about Syrena, Vampyre Bride, CMF Mermaid, Mrs. Scratchen-post, and Movie April O'Neil? The piece is hardly rare.
  20. I doubt it. We'll probably get at least two members of the Squad (Deathstroke and New 52 Harley Quinn), but the Jokerland set will not be inspired by anything Squad-based. It's going to be a colorul and deadly amusement park!
  21. I thought I heard it was February somewhere, but that may have been wishful thinking. It might be March, but either way, I can't stand the wait.
  22. This is a forum, not a newspaper. We are certainly here to discuss news, but we are also here to discuss rumors and what we have. The next piece of news will be the Helicarrier, but you can check the frontpage for that, as it will have its own press release thread. The new Spider-Man sets probably won't get pics for a while, so our discussion is currently restricted to speculation about the Helicarrier.
  23. That is indeed the US release date.
  24. Gimmicky and hazardous to figs though they may be, I'm enjoying my modification to the Jumper that makes it usable. I just now realized that the tan pins on the Skull Ship are to knock out the ray cannon by jumping a fig into it. The uses of the thing are rather enjoyable, gimmick aside, and add a fun little skill game to the sets, a la Speedorz. I appreciate how each "knockback" feature is different in effect and execution. and the Javelin's use of it looks really nice. I won't forgive them for screwing up the piece, (and eagerly wait for them to address the issue) but now that I've bypassed it, I can enjoy the functions. Any opinions on the best use of it in the sets?
  25. Nope. The cubes contain a black ring with custom indents for figs to be pressed into. Trickster is certainly a book or DVD figure. And it's got to be real, since the plastic shells are custom-molded to fit the figure, and Trickster's seems to fit quite nicely.
