  1. Posted on Toys 'n' Bricks Facebook page today: [uSA] Amazon Kingdoms 2010 Advent Calendar $37.99 If you missed out on the 2010 Kingdoms Advent Calendar, you can find it on Amazon for $37.99, free shipping and no tax in most states. MSRP was $34.99. Just a reminder that Amazon prices can fluctuate frequently so get it while you can.
  2. I wish Target would hurry up and open up HERE. Sheesh. Of course, even when they do, there's no way in heck that we're going to get those ultra-cool LEGO sales like y'all get in the States. Not going to happen, guaranteed.
  3. "Hello from Amazon.ca. We wanted to let you know there's a delay with one or more items in the order you placed on August 05 2011. John Baichtal, Joe Meno "The Cult of LEGO" Estimated ship date: November 14 2011" Grrr.
  4. I used to do the same thing, though I somehow got 'off track' with that a while back. I really tried to stick to it when they still had battle packs for town/castle/space, because even if I didn't happen to like any of the other sets for those themes at the time, I'd still be quite happy snagging five or six new minifigures.
  5. From Toys 'n' Bricks Facebook page: [uSA] LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar – Now at Amazon If you miss out on getting the LEGO Star Wars 7958 Advent Calendar from ToysRUs last month, not to worry! Forum member WELOVELEGO informs us that Amazon.com now has it instock.
  6. That's been listed on Toys 'n' Bricks for about a week and then confirmed as 'seen in store' a couple of days ago. From their Facebook page: [uSA] LEGO Ninjago Scrinium 2856134 – Now Available We reported on this new LEGO NinjaGo 2856134 Scrinium set a couple of days ago and it appears that it is now available in LEGO Brand Stores. Price is $6.99. Thanks to forum member gabriellee11 for the news.
  7. Supposed to be a Jake Raines key chain showing up soon but, other than that, I haven't heard or seen anything new. Still want an Anubis warrior battle pack, dang it!
  8. I hadn't really planned on it...until I threw them all onto a baseplate for this shot. Now, I'm thinking 'maybe'.
  9. Quite honestly I could easily spend days on here but, my wife and job might have something to say about it. There always seems to be SOMETHING MORE to read, or check out pics of, or SOMETHING. I'm not sure if I'm 'addicted' or 'in love'.
  10. Good idea. *edit* Done!
  11. With the race car driver: yeah, I got more than I would have liked but, just swap heads and you've got a whole racing team. As for Anakin: I don't buy CW or PT sets, so that's not an issue for me.
  12. They do the same thing with 'bonus VIP points'. They always have them for sets that I purchased MONTHS AGO.
  13. I had to call yesterday, after a VIP points mix-up and due to the fact that I still haven't received my summer catalogue. Lady on the other line was exceptionally nice, as always and get this...SHE REMEMBERED ME FROM SEVERAL MONTHS AGO and even remembered calling my wife with some info for me, since I wasn't home! That's pretty freakin' stellar, IMO.
  14. 'Family room' in the basement. Umm...what are "unwanted minifigs"? I've "sort of", "kind of" been doing something similar, though not in an 'organized' manner. As I've been rooting through (looking for Hoth trooper helmets from my old snowspeeder sets), I've been pulling out 'anything minifig' related, 'anything animal' and 'anything plant' and setting them aside to be 'micro-sorted'.
  15. I think I've morphed from "number of times per day" to "number of hours per session". It's not so much that I'm on here many times, it's more like once I log in, I can't bear to log out! It's no wonder I can't seem to get anything done lately, unless it's "out of the house".
  16. Oh, I've tried that. She's not falling for it.
  17. I missed most of the classic Pirate line and a major chunk of the classic Castle line. I regret both, greatly. Most other stuff that I missed, was either a)not much to freak about or b)intentionally missed. I didn't ENTIRELY miss that theme but, I only got the one small set. I was busy picking up other themes, 'waiting' to pick up that wickedly cool chopper and then *POOF*...it was gone.
  18. Hindsight = 20/20 Or, as they say: "If I knew THEN, what I know NOW..." And that applies to sets I missed out on from the fantasy era, too. Sets that I was "waiting for them to go on sale".
  19. But, the TIME! My wife ALREADY claims that she doesn't see enough of me!
  20. Oops, my bad. I didn't READ the September calendar...it says that the set is available Aug.1 to Sept. 30 with purchase of Diagon Alley.
  21. Ogre

    Canadian Eh?

Had a chance to pick up the Pirate Advent Calendar yesterday. Still waffling on it though. The 'completist' part of me says 'get it', but the rational part of me says 'you already own everything that comes with it'. Decisions, decisions...
  22. In September, they have an exclusive Hogwarts Express polybag with purchase of this set.
  23. I'm not even collecting Ninjago at the moment and I'd be interested in snatching these up!
  24. Very sweet set-up! Nicely done. Very professional looking. Ha! I use those, too. Actually, at the moment, those have become my MOST USED storage tool. I really need to get to sorting. Sheesh. I have three 189L Rubbermaid totes that need to be parted out. I'm dreading it.
