I'd also just like to add a big 'take care' to our Chch friends - Us Wellingtonians often get smaller quakes, but nothing compared to what happened this morning. So take care guys, and be safe:)

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
harmacy replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There should be a part number printed on the piece somewhere - type that into Bricklink Catalog search, and then click on 'appears in x sets - view them'. This should solve your issue. EDIT - out of curiosity, I had a look....... Its part number 30195pb01 - Plate, Modified 2 x 6 with 4 x 8 Half Saucer and Stingray Pattern, from the Aquazone range. It appeared in sets 6199, 6107, 6198. So thats a big no for a SWL part:( -
Just an idea which may tide you over in the meantime... Ive been using LDD on my Mac with the expanded palette mode on (see herefor details), so have been able to use this to play around with track layout ideas. Its good in a way that I can incorporate bridges and buildings to work with the layout, and its all in 3D and the correct scale. Ive pretty much got my whole town layout with all the modular buildings sorted - it looks very nice - and now I know exactly how many million bricks to order!

Hey guys - Im selling off my 9v Train track and motor collection - see here for details:)
-
Hello all, I am updating my train layout to a Power functions / IR / Mindstorms layout, and am selling my 9v Track / motor collection. I have, 2 x 9v motors (part 590) + 2 decorative sidings. 18 x Dark Blue Grey 9v Track curves. 20 x Dark Blue Grey 9v Track straights. 1 x Dark Blue Grey 9v Left manual Point and yellow switch. 1 x Dark Blue Grey 9v Right manual Point and yellow switch. 1 x Old Grey / Black / Yellow speed regulator + Track connector cable. 1 x Power point - suitable for New Zealand / Australian outlets. I am selling all of these together - please do not ask for splits:) The Dark Blue Grey Points are as rare as hens teeth too - It took me a long time to get these, and they only pop up on BL very rarely! The motors were bought new off BL, and have only had about 2 hours use. All tracks are in excellent condition, as are the motors and power regulator. I will ship anywhere in the world, so long as you pay for postage from New Zealand. Im asking for $200 NZD, which roughly equals $156 AUD, $108 EUR, $140 USD. PM me if you are keen. Cheers!!!
-
Blurgh! $600 !!!! Thats awful! - Id rather buy a used UCS blockade runner off BL for that cash. I have a brother who lives in the states though, so I may get him to get the Imp. Shuttle for me - Its $259USD there, which works out around $360NZD, so thats a whole heap better. Will get him to de-box it and send it over in a smaller box.... Sneaky, but way better! (evil laugh....)

Freight train and new creator sets (Sonic Boom / Offroad power) spied at TW today.... All look very nice.... Am still waiting for the 2010 UCS SW prices to be released - I NEED that shuttle:)
-
Anyone got a spare $12k ??? Link
-
Ha ha - yeah - being a bit sarcastic there, but honestly, theres some very cool stuff coming out. When I did my Hoth base, The Snowtroopers were something silly like $15 NZD each... And yes - Kapiti TW is a great place for Lego! One of the better selections around, and the staff love their Lego, and will talk your ears off for hours about it.
-
So is the snowspeeder from the Wampa Cave bigger than the one in the 7666 Hoth base set? Either way, Im loving all of this Hoth related stuff coming out - Ill be able to build an awesome Hoth scene soon:)
-
New SW sets and Games came into TW yesterday. Should be on shelves today hopefully:) Sets I saw were - Wampa cave, Grievous SF (Love that new fig design) , Plo Koons SF, Palpatines Shuttle, Midi ISD. Am looking forward to checking out the new games too.
-
Taj gone now - Didnt think it would last long at that price.... I would have got it myself, but am really wanting to get the new SW UCS Shuttle, so have had to hold back on a few impulses:)

TW Coastlands organise the show, which is usually a collection of fan based models from all ages. The last show in Sept 2008 had over 110 entries, including entries from myself and Dragonator (We both also helped run the show). The EB post for this show is here. This year It was due to be run in the upcoming July holidays, but we found that there was no appropriate venue available, so we are looking at the next school holidays. Last time we had a few competitions running too, like 'guess the bricks in the jar', a tower speed building competition, and also had a few large LCD TVs running the Bionicles movies and huge Lego play tables. It was a great show, but this year we are looking at incorporating a Lego sale store and a few other cool treats. I'll post more info as soon as details are confirmed:)
-
TW is having 20 - 50% storewide starting tomorrow. Cool. Also - Pirates fans, TW Coastlands (Thats Kapiti for all you out of towners:)) is having 50% off all Pirates sets - so thats a Brickbeards Bounty for $89.... Its limited to this store only too, so if anyone wants any - let me know, and Im more than happy to pick some up on behalf.
-
I went into Kmart Porirua yesterday, and they had dozens of Tantives for $259.00. However, their 'Massive' toy sale tarts on Thursday 01 July, so it may drop - heres hoping:)
-
Yep - Basically a big stuff up there, but its all good if us fans benefit from it:) Has anyone bought the Imperial Flagship?? Im considering buying it, but not 100% sure.
-
Got my TW catalogue in the mail today - The Fire brigade is $250, and minifigs $4.99. No deposit layby is also a bonus...

D2C Designers requesting feedback for 2012 models
harmacy replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1) I enjoy these sets due to their size and presence when built, so no to parts packs. 2) Any model is going to be subjective - you only need to check out the forums here to see that most people will not buy a specific model because of x, y or z. I only buy models that appeal. 3) I see that the Sydney Opera house has been mentioned here, which I second - some of those curves would be difficult to represent in Lego on a large scale, but It does have the potential to look amazing. I think that any of the '7 wonders of the world' would be a great starting point too. 4) As far as an ultimate set goes, I'd love to see a UCS ATAT, a Central Park or a SR-71 Blackbird :) 5) I'd be very keen to see a return of the Legends line, and some of the classic sets brought back - eg - 6995 Victory lap raceway and The monorail sets. -
I second that recommendation for Gelo. Helen is a great seller and very quick and efficient. I also just finished building my GE that I got today. I do love it very much, it looks awesome with the other modular sets.

Was in at Moore Wilsons Tory St today and the Imperial Flagship and Grand Emporium were both in. Good news is, they were priced at $252 each! Thats a pretty good price considering Lego.com is $299 each. And to answer Nikkiwi re - BL timeframes, I usually receive my orders around 1 week after payment, but sometimes up to 2, depending where in the world the order is coming from. Out of all 30 odd of my orders I've done, I've never had any that were more than 2 weeks away. In the later cases, the seller has usually kept me informed too. How long has it been since you paid?
-
Me too - I 'hum-ed and ha-ed' about it for a while, and thought that a few modifications could make it fit in better, so put it on layby. I dont want to miss out and then face paying megabucks (a-la CC or MS) if I changed my fickle mind in the future... Pretty good about the discount you got too! - Bravo! Was that through Megastore??
