  1. Edit: Ignore the original content of this post - having given it some thought I've decided against posting it here and put it more appropriately in the Brick Flicks forum instead. Keep up the good work in this thread though folks, lots of funnyness!
  2. Hi guys! Today I recieved my first ever clone troopers off ebay. The missus was out at a works do, so I decided I'd utilise the time well and make a quick brickflick! (It was that or do the list of jobs she'd left me...). Two notes before watching! 1) Sound is relatively important to the video! 2) Dont watch if your VERY easily offended. It is meant in the lightest hearted of humour, but a word of caution! :). What reaction would a slight mutation in an individual Clone's genetics get from other Clones? Edit: Updated the link as I had to reupload the video! Enjoy!
  3. Are photoshopped elements such as backgrounds permitted assuming they are fitting for the story (Sky/ocean/caves etc)?
  4. Having a limited budget for brand new sets, I think 75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas is the most likely one I'll buy - as I want to boost my clone army, and the plain trooper will really help with that! also, I dont have any Droidekas - so that set suits me all round!
  5. A deck-scrubber seeking clarification here! Must the whole story be submitted at once or will they be considered a WIP until the deadline? If releasing the story in parts is permitted, would they all need to be posted in the original post or as and when they are released into the thread? Thanks, Duck *Goes back to scrubbing*
  6. Nice to see the monkey has picked the winning side! Great work!
  7. I hope they both can make a speedy recovery, Commander Law! As for the comic - I think it's a great start! However, all it shows is that us gallant redcoats are capable of being at one with nature, when we're not shooting bluecoats to pieces. We're all heart, really.
  8. A really great MOC - I was really plesently surprised when I got to the bottom and saw the real picture how close it was! As said earlier, the knobs around the edges really finish it off nicely! Plus its always good to get a CMF into these MOC's without shoehorning it!
  9. And it is on such merits that the Tournament of Retribution shall be won, or lost! For the Redcoats!
  10. Assuming I am assigned the Deck Scrubber position for the Redcoats... I present... Deck Scrubber Duck! Due to being too short for the front line, "Duck" was assigned a role dealing with the thing that he was closest to - the deck. Something he is clearly extatic about. Possibly. P.S. Due to Duck's leg-size, he cannot wear "Standard Issue" white trousers - and so has a range of different coloured trousers that he has special dispensation to wear. This basically means you may use whatever coloured legs you have available, if you so wish! P.P.S. The face is the "Gladiator" face. Duck also uses a varitety of cleaning equipment so whatever is to hand should suffice!
  11. Hopefully I'm not too late! 1) Duck 2) Redcoat, definetly! 3) I'll take... Deckscrubber then. Or barkeep - or some Soldier rank. But I have a fig lined up for deckscrubber!
  12. Managed to pick up two of this set for £15 on offer from Tesco. I got two to boost my numbers of imperial troops (plus it was only the podracer planet set which was the only other thing in the offer!), and also rebels for a future project. I think if I had paid the full £12 I'd be quite disappointed as aside from the fig's there is not a lot to offer with the tree and bike, really. As I paid £7.50 for each set though I cant complain! Also agree that I prefer the old stormtrooper torso!
  13. Seeing as this thread has recently been bumped anyway - does anyone know if this C3PO sold, and if so, for how much? (I'm nosey!)
  14. I would not have been so foolish as to have thought the same thing! Honest... Seriously though, congratulations Admiral! It is a well deserved promotion! Duck
  15. Hi guys, here is my entry! Santa's replacement was slightly better equiped for the dangers of the job - and also didnt require reindeer to get around!
  16. Okay that is fair enough, I guess I'll just have to sit this one out on the sidelines then! *Watches the clock until his blackberry contract runs out in may*
  17. Sadly I dont have any iProducts and I dont think I'll have anything with iOS on it (what sort of other things do?). Is there a specific reason why we cant use other software as I'm sure there are many people who would love to take part but cant for this reason? It sounds a great idea for a contest though!
  18. Sorry for the late reply! Havent been near a PC since I uploaded! Thankyou so much for the positive feedback and indexing! But for how long? all will be revealed if there is indeed a sequel!
  19. Ahoy! As a break from filming the next (rather large-scale) episode of Brickington Sails Forth, I decided to film a one-off "Ancestors" episode, which puts Brickington and his men back into Roman-era times, with Brickington's Ancestor as a Centurion. I wontgo much further due to the risk of this being seen as off topic, but it is related to the series - so follow this link to see the Eurobricks topic! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=74264 My next project will fingers crossed, be Brickington Sails Forth! Thanks, Duck
  20. Hi folks, As a spin-off to my main series "Brickington Sails Forth", I decided to do a one-off "Ancestors" film, based on a Roman-esque civilisation which Brickington's ancestor was a Centurion for. Even if you havent watched the rest of my series, this should make sense! Thanks for viewing! C&C appreciated! Duck
  21. Managed to pick up Anakin's Jedi Interceptor from Tesco the other day for £8.50 reduced. Not bad if I do say so myself!
  22. Yesterday from Tesco I picked up 9494 - Anakin's Jedi Interceptor - reduced from £35 to £8.50 9558 - Kendo Kai Training Set - reduced from £15 to £3.50 So some good bargains there! I think they were reducing them to clear stock.
  23. Managed to pick up this set yesterday for £8.50 in Tesco! Not normally a Star Wars buyer (I've watched the films, played Star Wars Galaxies and LSW games however) but as far as LEGO goes I prefer non-licensed sets - however reduced from £35 to £8.50 it would be rude not to buy it! A really nice change from the norm for me, and an overall enjoyable build (the second wing was obviously repetitive!). great minifigs and for the price I got it, they were worth over £8.50 alone! Now to watch Episode Three again, to remind myself what actually happened...
  24. Indeed! You dont see any 25 year olds around here, do you!? Great review, great set, but personally I couldnt justify the price if I was going to buy it!
  25. A really nice review! I remember buying this one when it first came out and I was going through a potter phase anyway. I loved the turban and as you said it must have proved popular as we've seen it used quite a few times since. I also agree about how unusual it is that lego put the single true baddy in a cheap set... Actually... cheap licensed sets, now thats something I remember also! Great review!
