LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's K-250. K-2SO is a character that doesn't exist. Until proven otherwise but the amount of times it's been referred to as K-250 outnumbers the opposing scenario. -

Lavender stalks - historic mocs/landscaping
General Magma replied to Andrzej777's topic in General LEGO Discussion
LEGO should release packs of plants, such as flower stems, in these kind of colours. Olive green, lavender... I think that could earn them a good sum of money so I don't think they have much reason not to, other than maybe wanting people to buy those sets just for those parts... -
I would like to have one complete set of DFB Mannschaft minifigures. If you have some that you'd be willing to trade, PM me or leave a post here and tell me what kind of stuff you want or what you're looking for. I've got plenty of minifigures from themes like Star Wars, The Hobbit, LOTR, Space, Castle, other Collectible Minifigs, and more, so I should have a wide range of figures to offer. I would also be able to add money to a trade in case it's necessary. The ones I currently still need are: All of them

I myself use CW Anakin's reddish brown hairpiece for Han Solo, as shown in the picture below. I also painted the loop end of his blaster pistol silver (which I'll use for Han until I get a BrickArms DL-44). As you can see, I also went and painted the grey shooter part on Chewy's bowcaster black, and added a black stud in there to fill up the gap. It will do for now! On another note, I recently also decided to fix the Boba Fett figure's oversized rangefinder - looks much better and more accurate now (all I need for him now is a BrickArms EE-3, and I'm also thinking of adding a torpedo to the top end of his jetpack): Woops, I knew that - I'm not sure why I wrote down "pirate bandana". Anyway, fixed it! And I personally think the white base torso suits him pretty well.

That's a very nice tree design there! Great work. Those Mixels pieces really do offer all kinds of new possibilities.

Added a 75048 Star Wars The Phantom (without minifigs but in new condition, with box & instructions). I think I might be better off to add price tags soon, might be more useful to have a real guideline for everyone. That said, I would be willing to sell off all of my MISB sets at once for around 69 to 75 euros, altogether.

I'm selling off a list of sets, many of them MISB. I'm willing to take offers for these, as well as for the minifigs, as long as they're still reasonable enough. (Refer to Bricklink) First of all, let's start with a list of the minifigures I'm selling. Some in used condition, others in new condition. The condition of the minifigs is also stated alongside every minifig in the list. ("U" or "N") Sold minifigs are marked like this. Darth Caedus' Trading Thread
General Magma replied to Darth Caedus's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I've probably got a CMF series 1 Robot as well as a Lizard Man, plus possibly one or two LOTR/Hobbit orcs/goblins. I'm interested in these figures that are on your list (from highest to lowest priority): modern style Tusken Raider, Uncle Owen from the Sandcrawler, Greedo and Jawas. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If you want it, get it. I got it during the May the 4th days for a discount, but even without that I'd say it's absolutely worth it. I finally got to build it halfway through last week and it's amazing. Without a doubt my favorite set of all time. The whole thing's just badass and beautiful and an impressive design feat all at once. -
Actually, Adam Driver has enough resemblance to Harrison Ford to be acceptable, mixed with some of Leia's genes I'd say it works just fine. The new Han Solo, however, doesn't look like... Han Solo. They're gonna need a lot of make-up to fix up that one.

What do you guys think about the new Dengar figure? I'm kinda comparing the figure to the actual character and I'm not sure whether I prefer the new one or the 2011 one. I prefer the new torso, which looks great and more accurate. But there are a couple of things I'm not too sure about. For instance, the head wrap on the new one seems too round and too low (it's the new headwrap piece), while the old one, used on 2011 Dengar, seemed to do the trick quite fine. It's meant to be pretty tall. I'm also not sure about the new head. I feel like the head on 2011's Dengar captured his droopy face and the essence of his facial look a lot better. The eye circles on the new one are rather odd as welll, I'm not sure where they came from. I don't remember Dengar having circles like that around his eyes, nor do I remember his eyebrows being angled like that. But I might be looking at the wrong pictures here. What do you guys think?

The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
General Magma replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They should make a UCS set out of that new Imperial shuttle / transport from Rogue One, some day. -

So there aren't any regular stormtroopers in the Rogue One sets? Really? -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh I really wouldn't mind that, honestly, as long as the figure itself would be identical to the newest incarnation of the OT stormtrooper. They're way too hard to get so I'm hoping the Rogue One sets will offer us ways to get many of them for lower prices. -
Ditto. Maybe the B&P selection differs per location, I can't really think of any other explanation. Is there anyone who wants to snatch up a group of those AT-DP legs (and possibly other B&P pieces that I can't seem to find) for me?
-
How are you getting AT-DP driver legs from Bricks and pieces? They don't seem to be on there for me.

When I first saw the Zeb figure, I thought it was meant to be a Bothan or something... just a regular sized guy. -
The UCS Slave I. Once it arrived, I had to wait for 2 weeks until after the exam period, but tomorrow, I'm finally opening it up & building it!

I'm looking to obtain ALL recent incarnations of minifigures based on characters from Star Wars: The Original Trilogy. Since my budget has to go to MOC parts for now, I'm gonna have to trade to accomplish my goal here. This means I'm looking for all newest versions of certain figures - for example, the newest version of Luke Skywalker in a certain outfit, but also the other newest versions of Luke in different outfits. For figures that only really have one incarnation, I'll have to see how recent it is, but as long as it fits in with the detail that newer figures have, it should be fine. Also looking for generic troopers and minor characters that could fit into this (the new OT versions of Imperial stormtroopers like the ones that came with the UCS Slave I, Advent Calendar, etc., and newest variations of Hoth rebels, Bespin guards, and so on...) The same also goes for droids (not just Original Trilogy droids but mostly all Star Wars protocol & astromech droids. New R2-D2, new K-3PO, other astromechs with full dome printing like TCW ones, etc.), the newer Jabba the Hutt, and creatures such as Tauntauns, a Rancor, Salacious B. Crumb, Dewbacks, etc. Soon, I will probably create a list of characters I've yet to obtain, but for now, I'm accepting all offers and will, following the offer, inspect which figures I need out of the ones offered. I have various things to trade. This includes older Star Wars minifigures (stormtroopers, clones, maybe a couple of Mandalorians, other Clone Wars figures & more), CMFs (Hazmat Guy, Spartans, vikings, evil dwarf, and many more), castle/medieval minifigures (from the 2007 - 2013 time period, approximately, and some from around 1999), exclusive Lex Luthor in power armour, and plenty of other things, you'll just have to ask. If you'd like to help me make further progress towards my goal, please send me a PM or post here.

[PRESS RELEASE] Announcing 10253 Big Ben
General Magma replied to Jim's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looks fantastic, but I can't believe that price - that's a price per piece ratio I've never seen before. Then again, there must be tons of small pieces in there to explain that - I wonder if it might make a good parts pack...
