Awesome, well done. I've always liked the Brickforge one but that one had no poseability whatsoever. Which isn't always needed, but I'd rather be able to make it stand in various ways, like you can do with this one. So - great job!

Purist Star Wars Figures
General Magma replied to IronFish's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well, those custom figures certainly are fantastic, but I had to pass on them when I saw the prices. The quality may be very good but I'm not spending $80 on a single minifig, especially not when it comes without exclusive molds, but even then... I'll wait for LEGO themselves to revisit these figures and then I'll see about all of that. -

I kinda doubt that, seems too flat. -
Whatever you do, make sure you get the 9500 Sith Fury-class Interceptor as well.

I'm looking to (preferably) trade for different kinds of castle minifig parts (or anything that fits with medieval fantasy, could be from Prince of Persia, Kingdoms, LOTR, you name it), but no old castle stuff. I'm also looking for weapons, accessoires, helmets, tassets and other (medieval & fantasy) items from BrickWarriors. There are some specific pieces that I'm looking for the most (the availability for some of these is lacking on Bricklink, so I'd like to get larger amounts of them) which are as follows, and I need as many as possible of these: Elven robe legs Kingdoms scale mail dark green collar (I'm also in need of brown hands) BRICKWARRIORS Steel Jousting Helmet So again, these are what I need the most, but various other medieval (&) fantasy minifig parts are also welcome. What I have for trade is older Star Wars, some LOTR, castle, CMFs, Space figures and figures from various other themes, just ask.

Bricklink. Your best bet would be to buy the crazy scientist's torso with arms attached.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Miniature versions of characters are still minifigures, I'd say... Unless you only want the purest definition of 'minifigure' to use that term, i.e. the usual type of minifigures that have been around for long. -

I meant to translate euros to dollars, actually - I meant somewhere around $25 to $30. Even minifigs that are entirely exclusive to UCS sets and have arm printing sometimes sell for $25 or less on Bricklink, at the very least less than $40. At first, Ahsoka will be sold for steep prices but once the set has been out for a few months, you'll be able to get it for way less than $40. There's no way that's going to be the cheapest you can get it before the set is discontinued. -

A bit less than that, I think. You'll be able to get one for at least around $25 to $30 or less. -
Thank you, everybody! Thank you! I might show that in one way or another, sometime soon. Thanks - the grey head is the light bluish grey Manta head from 'Atlantis', and the other one, on the rebel who is walking near the far back of the MOC, has a medium dark flesh Weequay head. Thank you very much, I'll likely be taking some extra pics and posting them here soon!

I need as many as possible Frightening Knight collectible minifigs from the recent series. They need to be complete with all parts included, preferably with the minifig plate as well if possible, but most important is the full figure with mace and shield. If anybody could help me obtain them - I have a fair share of things I could trade, including Star Wars, older Castle, some The Hobbit and many more minifigs from other themes, as well as other collectible minifigs from various series. I may also be willing to purchase them if the price is reasonable. Need as many as possible. Comment here or, if possible, send me a PM about it.

The A-Team?! Mr. T? Awesome! First Dimensions figure I absolutely want. And then I can finally pick up an old, abandoned little project again. Wonder if we might see Hannibal, Murdock and Face, too. Oh yeah, KR = Knight Rider then. Looking forward to that one, too!

Thanks, everyone!

Looks good, great job! I was planning on being the first one to make this when the pics were first leaked a while ago, but I kinda dropped it and made plans for other things. So, congratulations on being the first one instead, then. I do wonder if this is anywhere close to minifig scale, though.

Rebel Patrol On Endor "Reports of Imperials moving closer towards the position of our outpost came in this morning, so my men and I were sent to patrol the area. Actually, it was more of a hunt, a high speed run and search through the woods to make sure the distance between the Imperials and the outpost would shrink as little as possible. And then we would find them, and send the approximate coordinates of their whereabouts back to the base so they'd be taken out in time. Or so we hoped..."

They're still updates to the minifigures like the topic suggests. Now if they had been completely customized revamps, but they're just updates with a bit of non-LEGO, nothing major or nothing like an overhaul. Might encourage purists to push their boundaries a bit sometimes. If you want your figures to be as accurate as possible then you might want to look a bit past a set limit, the clone antenna was just awful and there was really no way to improve that with existing parts. Most updates posted here are purist anyway, so I don't think it will do much harm to the topic.

Simply put, I wouldn't support companies that I knew completely stole designs from another (in this case, LEGO's designs) and tried to sell them as their own.

New? My, you're late... almost got my hopes up for another trailer this soon already. But to answer your question, I thought it was a great trailer that seems to promise something new in a Star Wars film.

Thanks! I might. As for the rangefinder, I made it by cutting enough space for it into a light grey minifig head (since that's the colour of the visible neck part of his gear) onto the side of the head so the helmet wouldn't slant into any direction, and then I fitted a staple into the helmet. Then I put it onto the minifig head in a way that would allow the helmet to sit on the head as it normally would, without, again, leaning towards any side. That's why I did a bit of cutting into the minifig head, to make room for the staple that would have to go onto the head so it would stay in the helmet, against the head, properly. Then I took a bit of green stuff, put it on the top end of the staple and sculpted that bit and painted it black, et voila.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They should make a Death Star set without an interior, based on the first Death Star itself and the Death Star II LEGO set from years ago, and then just a good playset that isn't dome-shaped some other time, whether it be after it or before. Something like what Baronsat made, based on the old Kenner set. I would by far prefer that over a dome shaped one unless it were a dome that can be opened up to reveal the interior. Not a chance, we already pretty much have confirmation about there being a blue astromech droid minifig in the set.
