A very nice topic, but it doesn't fit in the pirates forum. Moved. Unfortunately I don't have that many sets, the most LEGO I have comes directly from BrickLink.
-
So you are rebuilding the Unicorn and change it's hull for a brickbuilt one?
-
A brilliant creation! So original, probably one of your best MOCs! It's awesome to see the space objects changed into medieval gear. Looks like the Starwars stories go back a few thousand years. Stunning work!

ARTICLE: The Evolution of the LEGO Door
Captain Blackmoor replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Town
I really like the 3rd door. It has the correct scale, it opens and it is a perfect LEGO door IMO. The new one is just a bit too big, now I can use it though, lots of things have a large door. A great topic TheBrickster! -
...and moved.

What has the poor walrus ever done to you?

What a great creation Piglet! The colours are nice, and the brickwork is really nice. Great work on the cliff as well. Soon!
-
Amazing! This is going to be a master film of master quality. It's great! Keep us posted!
-
Very true! Quality in the first place. But I presume there is a new rank Arch Duke? I thought Grand Duke was the highest rank to get with posts. It appears again, when I leave for a day, the world changes.

Looks fantastic! The flower sign on the front is outstanding, the interior is great and the whole building looks good! I like the small 'backyard' as well. Good job!
-
I like it a lot! The curved shape on the front is very inspiring! The whole hovercraft looks great! I was wondering if a resqued minifig fits in there, it seems to be it does! Nice job.
-
You are truely a master builder Sly! That fortress looks great with it's curved wall and amazing details! Those lamps on the docks are really nice. All the things going on in the fortress are interesting to look at. The curved wall looks like it's under pressure indeed! Perhaps funny to know my ship's bow exploded due the same kind of pressure... Anyway, you've outdone yourself again SlyOwl, you've done a great job.

Some new "pirate" heads from a LEGO game
Captain Blackmoor replied to Blackheart Brit's topic in Pirate MOCs
That is a very interesting piece indeed. Great minifigs! They look really evil. Not something I want to find under my bed at night! Good job! -
After completing my current ship I and someone else start on a secret project which we may probably sell or rent to a museum... Reason 1: It's cool if people see your creation, otherwise it's fate will be to get dusty somewhere in the corner of my room while no one knows about it except Eurobricks. Reason 2: If it is a success we defenitely continue doing it! Reason 3: Tryng to make it even better next time! Reason 4: Perhaps there might be even some profit in it...

Same "brownie points" I got for whacking you?

Custom Pirate buildings like tavern etc?
Captain Blackmoor replied to piratemark's topic in LEGO Pirates
I have been struggling with the same problem. Nowadays I don't care if I order bricks I don't need after all. You might use them in the future though. Now I always try to build the building with my own collection. If I miss some bricks I use other colours temporarely. After that you can see what you need. I don't buy 17 bricks though, I'd rather go for 50 in that case, better too much then too less. You never know what you are going to build next. Order a few bricks more then you need, just in case. Hope that helps! -
I'm sure not everyone is building his ship in CGH's style. You have made an exceptional ship there Derfel Cardarn! Great colours, great shape, and an outstanding rigging! The good admiral Zorro beat me to blog it. Stunning, great work Derfel Cardarn!

CONTEST: Whack-a-Fig II -ENTRIES ONLY-
Captain Blackmoor replied to Siegfried's topic in General LEGO Discussion
General Armendariz, Ratshot. Prepare to get whacked! How dare you guys, stealing my treasure map? Unfortunately for you I knew where I buried my treasure, and went to the place quickly, well, a few feet above it to be exact... Lucky enough my men installed a mighty 36 pounder on the cliff last time. That thing sure comes in handy now! Overview. Ratshot: I would swear it is buried right here, below our feet! General Armendariz: Let's start digging then, but hey, what's that noise?? I think you can guess what happened next. Needless is to say Ratshot and Armendariz are no longer part of my crew. I just love 36 pounder cannons. The rest of the pictures here on Brickshelf, when moderated of course. Thanks for watching! -
A neat creation! Perhaps the building itself could use some more detail though, some plants and ornaments will spice it up. The road behind it looks great with the cobblestones.

Computer Game - Napoleon: Total War
Captain Blackmoor replied to Sir Wellington's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Me want to have that game! The launch trailer video is epic! -
Brickshelf up, down..who knows!
Captain Blackmoor replied to Vader's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I guess they were lazy at that moment. Some pictures from me have also been 'moderated' for over a week, but that's already some time ago. -
At least my sigfig is eager to whack someone! Why would you use something else?
-
An excellent entry into the Community Build! What an outstanding roof! The interior is also really nice. Great job on this one!
-
Very nice creation! Nice clear pictures as well, great job. Press gang MOCs are always great fun to look at, the poor pressed guys and the cruel press gang. Very nice.
