  1. That's great General.
  2. A difficult question. You can relate MOCs to the year they have been made for or how the MOC is built. British soldiers still had their red coats during the Wild West time. It is a border which is hard to make or to see. The true age of pirates ended when the age of sail ended. That is my view on the matter.
  3. I like it! Blue looks good, nice details all round as well. Though, it looks like the balcony fence is a bit unfinished.
  4. A bit late perhaps, but I hope you had a great day Shadows! May the upcoming year be filled with a lot of fun and happiness. All the best and good luck.
  5. General Redwater, please resize your pictures to a maximum of 800x600. Thanks. Nice MOCs all! And ratshot, yes, I'm still shocked to see you in such an ugly uniform.
  6. A neat review you've made there. It's been a curious set as I knew a very little about it. An amazing set to have I think. Very nice job! Soon.
  7. Late 19th century battles fall outside the age of sail, and out of the true pirate age. Of course piracy still exists, but a line has to be drawn somewhere. A late 19th century battle fits better in the Historic themes forum. There are plenty of battles in the age of sail, also with islanders. Captain Cook for example.
  8. It turned out amazing, funny thing is this ship has the same rigging as the ship I've been sailing on this week. Nice work on the bow as well. The white stripe is truely unique. Job well done!
  9. That is an awesome creation Zeek! The guilliotine construction is very nice. It seems to be you have quite an army collection as well.
  10. A secret probably. Just like some other people. *Cough*
  11. A very nice build PrEtzel! Great details and the interior is really appealing to me. Nice action scenes as well. Certainly one of the best entries so far. Keep it up!
  12. You have made me jealous all! Looks like you had a lot of fun together! Fantastic event! Me wants to go there next time!
  13. Fresh, cold water for sale! 122 parts used, minifigs not counted. A few miles from the city Mezzicha there tiny lake with delicious fresh water for the dried out traveller. Unfortunately, the price is high. But that isn't everything. The water sellers put some sleep toxic in the water so they can rob the innoncent traveller afterwards... Overview. The fresh water is being collected --> The poison goes in --> The water is being sold to thirsty nearly-dead travellers. Poor traveller. Poison! :skull: Thanks for watching.
  14. Thank you very much all for the best wishes. Being born on Queens Day results in very busy birthdays. I hop from the one party to another. Thank you also very much for the comic Ratshot! I don't like teachers anyway. I had a great laugh while reading it. Thank you again for the nice words, have a nice day as well! Cheers!
  15. An excellent MOC! I love all the action going on. Certainly a good one thus far! Nice job on the tumblehomes as well.
  16. Of course. But more pictures show more aspects from your entry. Good luck!
  17. It will be done Ratty!
  18. A wonderful review Lorentzen! It has just been
  19. I'm with the Commodore on this one, but I'm willing to voice my character anyway.
  20. That is a very nice creation! The masts are a bit too long perhaps, but they are nicely detailed and look great. A 48 gun 5th rate ship? From 44 guns a ship was classed in the 4th rate. I think you have done a mighty fine job on this.
  21. Once again a very nice creation ISC! Amazing detail and the cliffwork is very nice. I like the tiny waterfalls and the gold hidden everywhere in the rocks. Job well done!
  22. True, but this thread starts to look like more and more like a spam thread. Redcoat vs. Bluecoat discussions are fine in here, but that is not a reason to leave comments like "no you are a deserter!" for example. What does it add to the conversations?
  23. I think this thread is loading full with comments with no sense at all. Almost equal to spam sometimes. Other people will be wondering where this thread is all about, filling it with senseless comments doesn't help either. Just post when you have to say something what is necessarry please instead of insulting eachother constantly.
  24. Looks like you had an amazing day indeed! I wish we had such forts here in the Netherlands. Only some defenses from WWII and from the war between Germany and France in the 19th century. I think visiting such places is a great source for inspiration! But Fort Nelson isn't Napolonic?
  25. And here it is. I'm going to use that technique as well in the future, but not for a wall.. I'm sure he would appreciate it if you gave SlyOwl credit afterwards. Good luck!
