  1. An epic creation again Derfel Cardarn! Stunning! Lots of detail! And the landscaping is just wonderful again. I also really like the buildings, they have the scruffy pirate feeling.
  2. Lovely ship Captain! She has a nice shape and the sails are just beautiful. I really like the sigfig story going on there. I see you've used the glass table again, it just looks like real water! The rigging is excellent, and so does the tumblehome. Nice curves! I'm glad to see the French fleet keeps growing! Awesome job Captain Zuloo!
  3. Please note the max size is 800x600. But I can see the ship a lot better now! And I think she turned out great, nice colours and shapes! The front also looks really good. I'd like to see a picture of the stern too! Excellent job.
  4. Thanks The Inventor! I hope the others will show their gold too. Show us the money!
  5. But old things are still quite funny! Let me guess, the next thing you make is Pirate Bay? Nice idea.
  6. The cheerleader looks pretty. Seriously though, this is a great collection of minifigs to have! A sad thing is indeed they can't keep their usual great quality. I hope to get some of these though.
  7. I would love to see some bigger pictures, they are quite small now and I can hardly see all the details. From what I see it looks very good! The sails turned out wonderful. She looks very fast and agile.
  8. I love the black and white ones! Black ninja, just because ninjas were black and it gives that sneaky and dangerous look. The white ninja looks great in the white suit, I just like it. Royal ninja also sounds good.
  9. Now you've earned discount in the Croissant shop!
  10. Hi there Ivan K.! And welcome to the forums. I see you've got some trouble with deeplinking the images. Visit the Help section or the Tutorials to figure it out. Off to your creation. It looks quite well in my opinion, but I don't like the yellow on the Eldorado Fortress compared to the new Soldiers' Fort. If you could try to replace the yellow with white, it would be a very nice addition to the Soldiers' Fort. Nice idea too!
  11. Great topic! It is the cheese slope for me by far! So many possibilities! A rock can't live without some. The telescope piece is coming close, but it's rather expensive and not avaible in every colour. The bionicle spine is a great piece to have as well, it does such an enormous great job as foliage/roots!
  12. I've emptied a bookcase to store the small MOCs in, but after a while they get dusty. After my ship is complete I'm planning to build a big cupboard myself using lots of glass. Dust free, big storage, and protected. Expensive joke though, but the ship is going to cost a lot as well, so I want to 'preserve' it good. For short term empty bookcases work well IMO.
  13. Time to tell how the Captain keeps his LEGO organized. I have several containers, and I put all kinds of bricks in them. One for the prefabs (ship's hulls, rocks, baseplates etc...) Several for the basic bricks in all colours. One for the modified bricks (headlight bricks, jumper plates etc...) Two for the minifigs, plants, utensil, weapons, animals etc...) One for the technic bricks. I don't use that one much. A small tray for the tiles. And one for all the plates. I also have some smaller crates for the special bricks from which I don't own that much. Small things like coins and gems and rare heads. Finally I have a large crate to store all the car bricks, fabuland and pieces I don't use that much either. Perhaps it sounds not organized at all, but I can find every brick in there.
  14. I agree with Martinsuper here, I think BrickArms makes fantastic customs. The musket will be a great addition to armies, no doubt on that! Great job on customizing BrickArms!
  15. Welcome in my trophy room! Today you will enjoy an exclusive view behind the doors of my house. I'm proud of my collection of trophies and treasure. Here we go! From the left to the right: My parrot's stand. The expensive hat of a farao, from the French Egypt campaign. Just above it we have my bronze trophy from the past PTVII contest. In the chest on the ground we find the famous Rosetta stone. It translates the Egypt symbols in Greek language. Also obtained from the campaign in Egypt. The next chest contains the first fish I was ever fish-slapped with. Ask Captain Greenhair for details... I still have nice memories from the Tournament of Retribution. Above those two chests we see two banners from defeated enemy battalions. Wonderful tapestry. In the large chest in the corner we see helmets from Napoleon's first two cuirassiers. On the wall the steering wheel of Le Ocean, the only piece which survived the explosion after she went up in flames. Then we have there the pride of my collection. The preserved head of Commodore Hornbricker in a jar! In the black chest we have the original version of the Art of War. Next we have my family stand with the family shield and helm. On the wall we see a sword, it's a present from a Turkish Sultan after defeating some pirates in his waters. On the table we find a map which describes the way through the treacherous Caribbean waters. Also Columbus' very own compass is there. And a key for the hatch in the corner which gives access to the treasure room... I'm not too wealthy after paying the build of Le Fourageux, but I'm sure we will catch a lot of prize money with her! 1010 coins 4 ruby's 2 emeralds 1 sapphire 2 topaz' 1 bright sapphire 1 bright topaz 5 gold nuggets 1 gold crown 2 golden bowls 1 silver pitcher 1 silver outcrop crystal Thanks for viewing!
  16. Looking good already! Of course! A few crates along with it, some chests and you've got a goodie pile! Some rolled up tissues with rubber bands or elastics works really wel for cotton balls and/or rolled up sails/rugs.
  17. Congratulations guys! You've done a great job all and I really enjoyed the competition. Great job and thanks again for organizing!
  18. That sounds promising!
  19. That's an epic creation on MLCAD! I would increase the bowsprit's length more, it's rather short. Since it's a marvellous ship, are you going to build it in real bricks? It looks almost exactly like Darwin's ship! Excellent work! Soon!
  20. This is a very interesting topic! So much to read in as well, looks like people experience a lot of experiences. And so do I, a few at least. I don't think I have paranormal feeling or something like that, but I have seen things I can't clarify. Here we go: If I dream, it is mostly a common situation, nothing bad, nothing too fancy. But I have experienced the opposite of my dreams come true. At least till now it has been every time. I also have noticed a bright, round moving object flying through the sky late at night. It was too fast for an airplane or sattelite. And it had obviously a round shape. Another 'ufo' experience is above a cornfield, a kind of shooting star, flying over the cornfield for just a second, then it was suddenly gone. Another weird thing, and I don't know if someone is familiar with it. In the winter, some people can't sleep for weeks, including me. You can sleep, but you are on bed for ages while you sleep only a few hours. I've read somewhere it is the radiation from earth itself which keeps you awake, especially when there is water nearby. Well, then are the Netherlands not a good place to be! It is weird, because animals notice it. They are constantly walking around and being nervous, just like before a thunderstorm. Animals can feel the air pressure when a thunderstorm is coming, but when there is 'earth radiation' the air pressure is normal.
  21. Such things are called 'organ' guns. A nice build! Since organ guns were also used in the age of sail, I'd like to use it as inspiration! Looking forward to see more cannons.
  22. The topic name sounds like a comedy! But the city itself is absolutely fantastic! Great buildings, great colours and I really like the duels going on everywhere. I can't stop looking at the saloon and the train station, they are my favorites. The watertower is very inspirational. An excellent MOC from an excellent builder!
  23. The Bluecoats are at war with them indeed. So how are your Greencoats going to look like? Custom torso decals or just a pirate force?
