  1. Progress has been made! In the past weeks I had a lot of time on my hands, time which comes in handy when it comes to bricks. The list of updates: The whole ship, especially the rear end is 4 studs wider now. The curves on the tumblehome have been improved. The interior has been reinforced and more detail has been added. The bow is completely rebuild and not finished yet since I need a few specific bricks which I did not have. The ship is also 16 studs longer. She is a proper fourth rate ship with 44 guns, the carronades and top deck guns not included. The first part of the mizzen mast has been built. And of course a lot of tiny improvements have been made. Enough squabbling from my side, time for the pics! The stern, the lanterns have been improved slightly, the cabin interiors have been completed, though the furniture is not complete yet. And the whole stern is 4 studs wider now, the brickbuilt hull also has undergone a huge update. The whole side, which will be copied somewhere very soon to the other side. I forgot to order the gunports and a black ladder. A poop deck closeup. There is one of the eight 12 pounder cannons along with the steering wheel and the entrance to the Captain's quarters. An early version of the lifeboat. This is still under construction. I just put the parts roughly together for the pictures. I need to wait for my order to arrive so I can continue, the technique I've been working on works very well in theory.. That was it for now, feedback is really appreciated before I proceed to the next step! Already thanks!
  2. I just love the ship crashing down, gave me a good laugh! Excellent comic Skalldyr, perhaps a bit hard to read in some images but it's certainly good! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Expect it to be blogged soon!
  3. How are you going mate?

  4. I wonder how you taste. You prefer being served hot or cold mister Crabs? :D

  5. Words cannot describe this creation, hands down for this epic ship! It looks fierce and heavy. Armed and dangerous! The decal is awesome as well for the landing platform, the finishing touches. Congratulations with this MOC and good luck in the contest!
  6. Giest ek mei nei Legoworld Zwolle yn oktober?

  7. I had a good laugh with the dung cart! Nice usage of the rock piece! As being the Bluecoat host I totally agree with Admiral Croissants opinion: You always need bigger creatures to fight for you! Where are all these trolls coming from? Excellent entry!
  8. I do like it already, although MLCAD and LDD are not my kind of expertise. I would recommend though to increase the hull. Perhaps a brick built one is a good way to create the hull of the ship. If you are going for a late 17th century battle ship of the line I would certainly make the hull wider. If you are planning to make a galleon I would increase the hull's length since galleons were long thin ships. Can you also please resize the pictures to a maximum of 800x600? That would be great for people with a slow internet connection.
  9. A neat creation and unique in it's kind! The shape is looking good and I really like the gunports. I would prefer to see normal LEGO cannons in there though. The stern looks very nice but perhaps some more detail in there would finish it off. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] As soon as possible!
  10. This one is a great one! Great work on the pictures in the first place! Even as being a Bluecoat I'm getting afraid of his tactics and sneak skills! A very nice entry into the tournament, good luck!
  11. I believe you had an amazing time wandering through the old fortress Dreamweb! It must be an interesting place with a rich history. Unfortunately they were renovating the structures at the time you passed by but the longer this fortress is being preserved the better! Thanks for those images, it was great to look at!
  12. Will do lads! Have a good one, and see you in 2 weeks.

  13. That will teach them indeed! We should hurry and call the glass jar foundries, we need more! Excellent comic the Inventor! Background is nice as well. A very good entry I think!
  14. I have never seen something like this before, it made my laugh! Very well done. I really like the rolling log at the front. Perhaps you could throw in some more detail at the roof. Some bones or something.
  15. Search for gold, silver and copper items, you will be amazed. A hilarious entry Admiral! The idea really turned out! It's cruel, it's deadly, it is the golden croissant temptation!
  16. Ek al in doarpsbewenner!

  17. I have never said I would put you in there, I've just cleaned it a bit. It hasn't been used for over a year!

  18. I've polished the jar yesterday. =p

  19. xD

Our beloved Commodore Hornbricker is a strange man..

  20. Hello all! Somewhere in june 4 years ago I've finished the first version of La Formidable, later the name changed to Le Formidable. In her lifetime of 4 years she has undergone a lot of changes, today I've decided to upgrade her to fit within my fleet. It will be some work though, a complete new rigging and some major hull updates. The original thread is somewhere buried in the forum, I'll find it later. I've found some pictures of 2 years old: More pictures are in the brickshelf folder. After this looks some small updates have happened, but they have never been released to the world. This is her today: This will be a side project of the Alceste, which is a side project of the Fourageux. I just like it to have some side projects running. The to do list: Adding a brickbuilt hull. Decrease her 24 guns to 16 on one deck instead of 2. Adding a whole new rigging. Custom sails. More historic accuracy. More detail. Let me know what you think about it!
  21. Komst wolris yn Ljouwert tink?

  22. Me too! I love Commodore Hornbricker as well. As a trophy, in a jar! I will save General Redwater's life for now.

  23. Excellent comic Croissant! That will teach him! All what remains is to capture Commodore Hornbricker, and get his head into my glass jar. However, that has to wait since Lord Arjay is annoying me as well. That's right Arjay, you are mine now.
  24. Quite mild you said. This is a great entry into the ToRII! It is disguisting, which is awesome. Nicely built as well, it adds a lot to the comic! Especially those chairs are a nice touch. Overall it is a very pleasant read, great job and good luck!
  25. An amazing MOC! Crowded and cramped like the real Tortuga should be. Nice details and overall a very good looking town! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Soon!
