  1. So has it always been, so it is, and so it will remain forever. Cheers Cyranose de Zorrac!

  2. Looks great to me, great details on the inside! The outside is a bit plain I think, perhaps some more relief in there (balconies, decorations) would spice it up a little. Nicely done nevertheless!
  3. I love that trireme/bireme! They eye is awesome, but also the ram pummeled into the beach is great. The minifigs look great, but like ISC said it's odd to mix up yellow and fleshie minifigs. Otherwise, it's a mighty fine job!
  4. Awesome! Epic pirate utensils! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  5. That looks great so far Zcerberus! The colours really stand out! Dark blue and pearl gold is a neat choice, but don't overdo it. Good luck with the bow, the hardest part is yet to come. Since you use (basically) the same bow technique, I'm very looking forward to how you are going to solve these problems.
  6. Oh what is it a great sight to see Jack Sparrow back in his element. I'm excited! Zombies, cutthoats, mermaids! About Barbossa's leg, the blue leg is indeed going to be edited. A peg leg is the only thing I can think of. Interesting uniform!
  7. You never fail to amaze me SlyOwl! Great inspiration!
  8. Thanks a lot Admiral for your great feedback! I'll see what I can do. And yes indeed it is hard working to complete it! Thank you Captain Becker! For the mast technique I'd suggest you to take a look in Phred's Constitution and/or Zcerberus' Phantom threads. It is explained there. I will make much more pictures then you can ever imagine once it's finished! I see you have never watched Sesame Street on television in the early days?
  9. As said above the picture, the main mast is in progress. It is completed already, but I lack the pieces to put it on the ship. An order with the neccessary bricks is on it's way.
  10. Hello folks! I have made some progress with the rigging, but things didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, resulting I have failed to complete the ship before 1 October. Here is a picture to show how far she is. The main mast is not yet ready to be placed on the ship. Let me know what you think!
  11. Happy birthday! And may many birthdays follow! May your day be filled with presents, cake, family and awesomeness. Have a good one!
  12. Congrats with your birthday!

  13. This is pretty epic! I haven't seen that much Persia castle MOCs around, or perhaps I just miss them, but this is certainly a good one. There are a lot of details all over the place, which I really like. The new colours also really stand out! Seeing those guards make me think on expanding my Crusader and Saracen army..
  14. Oh but this is very nice! Those stained glass windows are truely epic, but are they secure? I love the modularity of the building, it always adds an extra challenge during building, which I really like. Now it's time for an exceptional landscape surrounding the chapel right? At least that would make it totally epic.
  15. First thing I noticed was the colours you have put into this MOC. The lime green adds so much to the whole atmosphere! The temple building is very nice as well, great details! Statues on pillars were more seen in the Roman cities, but it sure looks great here. As Big Cam said, it strongly reminds me of the 300 movie too.
  16. 'the moc of the weekend' It would be awesome if you build this kind of creations weekly! It is impressive how you have managed to stash such a huge ammount of details on such a small space. Everything looks just awesome, even the small things. The SNOT techniques really stand out here. Very nice, and I'm looking forward to see more from you!
  17. That is a pretty sweet update! The curve looks perfect! I see a perfect opportunity to add headrails at the bow, I would certainly try that out since it would add even more to this already awesome ship.
  18. These are some exceptional ships! Especially the small one is really appealing to me. The sail and all it's details are very nice. The gunship (makes me think of an AC-130 aircraft somehow) looks great too, but there is room for improvements. I would remove the lower yardams and lower the middle yardams. Secondly I would change the bow too, it should be a bit higher. Furthermore, it are some epic ships you've got there. I can't make that on the pc.
  19. A very nice ship you've got there Duke! The curve is very well done, but a bit too curved as said before. But the construction of it is rather smooth! You have managed to create nice curved shapes in the ship by using rectangular bricks. The minifigs on board are also very nice. Blackcoats!
  20. That is just an excellent MOC you've got there! I love the whole atmosphere, the water, the detail, the trees, rocks and bridge, all very well done. Perhaps you can use some transparent 1x1 round plates to represent splashing water somewhere.
  21. I am very honoured by your visit lord Admiral of the Zurg fleet? I am also ...glad you have completely emptied my wine cellar, rum stock, beer storage and cider warehouses.

  22. That new picture is from my 3 days sailing trip some weeks ago. Under a pirate flag of course.

  23. I am sure Phred would post his pictures once he has them. These kind of ships do take much longer to construct.
  24. He won't escape, since the water is already boiling and the bananas have been cut. A great scene and very well built too.
