  1. I'm proud to announce the ship has been finished, it just needs a few finishing touches, but I have no time anymore since it will be on display at LegoWorld Zwolle next week! The whole ship has been rigged within a couple of weeks, blood swet and tears! Right now the vessel has been packed into boxes which will be loaded in the car tomorrow. When I'm back from LegoWorld, she will be rebuilt and I will add the last things to finish this 2 years project. I will take proper pictures then as well of course. I will share the table with Admiral Croissant's wonderful frigate 'Vesta'. Unfortunately I cannot bring the sloop Alceste with me, she is nearly finished but some drastic changes are neccessary first. For some of you, see you soon!
  2. Certainly! Thanks a lot!
  3. No problem, next week is going to be busy but I'll see what I can do.
  4. Impressive! It looks like it's been stolen from a video set! The minifigs look cool, but the buildings and landscape really stand out for me!
  5. Yep, I have some catch up work to do regarding indexing anyway.
  6. It's time for my first Star Wars contest! Inspiration and ideas enough! One question though, have the minifigures to be Star Wars minifigs? Or would every space minifig do?
  7. That would be a legends set. Dreamweb has 3 original BSB's as he said. Unfortunately I don't have a BSB set, but I'll start to check out my Redbeard Runner and Armada Flagship. I have two Armada flagships so let's see.
  8. It's size is impressive! Very well done for your first MOC! If you take a closer look you soon discover all kind of fine details, I'm really fond of details! I have never seen a window construction like that with these cheese slopes. Yet it is very, very realistic! The interior could do with some tiling, and perhaps a bit more spicing up, but it certainly looks good to me. Congratulations by having such a castle!
  9. That picture is certainly realistic as we are talking about a frigate from like 1800
  10. It probably is...
  11. Looks great to me! Lots of detail, and it's quite large as well for a guard house! I only would have seen more architecture at the top, it looks like something has been cut of the top. Furthermore it's just great!
  12. I see you sniffing around my profile, no Skalldyr, the rum isn't there anymore! I've hidden it after Zorro discovered it some time ago.

  13. Cold steel is also used to prepare crabs for dinner. ^^

  14. Bauxite transforms into aluminium after a long and technical, chemical process. As a pirate Captain I do not suppose to know this process at all. I just love cold steel.

  15. I will keep your ship in good condition Admiral!

  16. That is incredible! A great thanks to Brickarms!! I guess I don't even have enough minifig hands to hold all these weapons.
  17. Defenitely one of the best creations I've seen thus far! Your landscaping is astounding, and so incredebly detailed! The house is beautiful as well, great architecture! I only think the brown path looks a bit plain in contrast to the immensely detailed area around. "Just a MOC to get in the spirit of building". I need a spirit to even start such a project! A top build Derfel! Wonderful!
  18. Instant scheduled for blogging! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] What an excellent ship it has become! :pirate-wub: I'm totally in awe, and I think that will even get better when I see her with my own eyes soon! Your rigging is totally stunning, your experience in rigging really paid off! It's all perfect, great inspiration to other builders too! Excellent Admiral, excellent. And congratulations with finishing her, you should be proud!!
  19. I think this is quite offensive, I'm rather impressed by it as Claus build it without help and/or tips from anyone. Please choose your words more careful in the future.
  20. It starts to become a mighty vessel indeed! It's great to see the evolution your ship is going through, you have also inproved yourself a lot! The stern is a hard part to do and the bow causes even more problems, but you will handle it for sure! I see you've got already some advice about the current stern, I don't really have much to add. The picture CGH put down there is a very good one. Now all what is left is to decide which bricks are needed to create these weird curves, order them and on you go! Good luck!
  21. I've never been aware of the rigging! Although it's just a small thing, so it shouldn't be a big problem for MOCing. You certainly have an eye for detail! I hope you will enjoy your BSB set.
  22. Aye aye Admiral. Thanks... I guess.

I hope you will enjoy MY drinks and MY wenches, ah you can keep them. They get boring after a while anyway. ^^

  23. A great battering ram you've got there, great usage of the orc helmet! My only complaint is that you could throw some more colours in there. It looks rather plain. Some shields on the roof would add a lot too.
  24. I agree with Zcerberus, the headrails are a bit low. Placing the ends just below the bird figurehead would make the headrails splendid! A second headrail like Zcerberus said would also really stand out. I really like to see how this ship is progressing. Keep it up!
  25. Of course I have filled my liquor stock already, I gave it top priority. I don't want to suffer from dehydration!
