  1. Thanks Admiral! I'll try out that suggestion, it should be nice. I don't quite get your suggestion, but the anchor size is fine as shown below: Thanks for your nice words.
  2. Really great minifigures Woody! You are one of the best customizers around. I only despite there are no epaulettes, I'm sure white ones would make them even cooler. Have you considered to add white details to the shakos? That would stand out for sure!
  3. Thanks all for the nice replies. The figuehead legs will be rebuilt, a robe/mermaid thing is hard to do in bricks. I have been busy with the rigging past days, but pictures on that later. First I'd like to show you the selection of cannons the ship will carry. To start off: The 68 pounder Carronade! There are 2 on the forecastle. A simple build, three studs wide and a custom cannon barrel. Recoil. The mighty 36 pounder cannon! The lower gun deck will be filled with 36 pounders. The tough 24 pounder cannon! The middle gun deck will be filled with 24 pounders. Looks pretty cool I think. One of the four anchors, two have been added to the ship now. Credit for the design goes to Captain Blue/Greenhair. Let me know what you think!
  4. Me with Jon deep in an old WWII German bunker, we found it after a survival trip across the island. We've found this weird National Geographic thing as well.
  5. Two Steps From Hell - Ocean Princess
  6. A wonderful creation. Not only by it's size, but also because all the details you've purged into this. It's magnificient and I haven't seen anything like this before. Astonishing job!
  7. Something like Schaaldier in Dutch. =)

  8. 107 is quite an age you are aiming for eh? Happy birthday nevertheless! Four days too late though. It seems to be I can never leave without something happening at the forum. I hope you had a great day, and I hope there are even more to come. Cheers!
  9. And I do like it! What a nice, and large ship! There are a few things I really like, like the window usage to access the lower decks, great job and very original idea! I also like the treasure lid parts as fence, again a great use of parts. The rigging looks great, and those dark red sails add a spooky look. One remark though; I think she is a bit too black. Of course it's a pirate ship, but I would use some more brown in it though. Great job nevertheless!
  10. Congratulations guys! Enjoy your cards! Well deserved!
  11. Now I want to build one as well! Off we go...
  12. Wow, I'm impressed! What a great update! The dark red tiling works really well, and I'm defenitely sure metallic gold and dark blue looks great with those colours. The mast platform is a splendid one! Looks rather stable indeed as well, and all hooks and gaps for the rigging are in there. I'm having some trouble with adding the platform to the mainmast, since the mast is 2,75 studs in lenth and width. A part I'm jealous on is the tiled interior! That looks just so real in there! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Without a doubt.
  13. Great job mister Crabs! Your entry was truely unique and original. Enjoy your prize and have a good one!
  14. I just hope he didn't damaged the brick his airways. Sad to see this kind of things happening though, I think the kid is old enough to think before choking bricks like it's oxygen. But as said before, accidents happen and this kid is lucky to be alive. I hope he will still enjoy LEGO as he did before the accident. I also don't think LEGO will suffer any damage from it. Babies choking toys and other unedible stuff happens quite frequently I believe.
  15. Yeah you shouldn't have tried to stay away from us now! Glad to have you back on the boards again Hornbricker! I hope you had a great time over there!
  16. Thank you. Time for some pictures again isn't it? I have been busy past days, and the work is dropping it's fruits. The only thing left on the hull is to copy the bow's tumblehome to the larboard side. And of course the finishing touches. I have made the masts for a part, except the foremast. The bow is the part I've worked most on, and I hope you guys like will like her current state. Here we go: The bow in all it's glory, more details and a new figurehead. A hydra on the skeg and Poseidon as figurehead. The back end of the ship, yes, the first picture from the larboard side. Stern galleries completed except for 1 3x3 wedge plate and some flowers. The main mast as we see it from the gundeck, standing on te grates. The mizzen mast, a bit unstable up high, but the construction is unbreakable. It can bend a little bit but the mast will never fall over. And the bow again. As you've seen the pictures weren't that great, but it's dark here. It supposes to be summer here but all what we get is rain! Thank you very much for watching, and keep an eye on the horizon!
  17. This is going to be a huge project! Great start already too. Good luck with the build! I like the way you have made the scaffolding on which you are standing.
  18. Nice usage of the baseplate. It's a hard one to MOC with. Shame the poor fellow didn't made it, it would be cool if you put some more goodies around. An old frying pan or something. I also don't really like the owl there, it doesn't fit within the landscape. I'd suggest using a grey or brown parrot. Or a snake on the roof.
  19. It also depends on the scale of the ship, I think the cannon with 4 studs in width is a little too wide sometimes.
  20. I have seen it, but I have also seen there were requests who were there even earlier.
  21. Today it's time to drink a beer to celebrate my comeback in decal making, which means indeed I'm back and ready to take some requests. Let's see, who was first in line? Can you please provide a picture with your request? I don't know how a mexican cape looks like!
  22. A neat castle you've got there! I like the size. A bit more details outside would add a lot, some tiling here and there might work as well. I really like the interior, but I would make a wall on the lower floor to cover the back up. Or you should leave the whole back open for easy access. Nice job overall.
  23. A marvellous ship already! Awesome details, great colours and a fine design. I would somehow take a second look at the bow though, the yellow plate wedge looks rather odd concerning the looks of the rest of the ship. The curved part is very well done! I also really like your coffin, I might use that someday. Keep it up!
  24. Read this first This is quite a big project you're after! This galleon seems to become a monster once it's completed! The plan looks fine to me, but you should start with the actual build first before I can give some feedback on the process. Good luck!
