  1. I like it, especially the tree with the crows in it. It's a small, but very nice vignette indeed. It must be hard for the women to see their men go to the battlefields.
  2. Not bad!! You need a name you said, I see it's a pirate ship. I'm not good at names but I think "Sea Angel" or "Golden Angel". My favorite part is the stern, which looks pretty cool with the inverted slopes. The green windows are splatting out of it. I can also see the SES had some influence on the design and colours. The colour sheme looks great and you have a large cabin, which I like. An improvement may be to build some railings on the forcastle. It's just a flat deck where people will fall off. You have some work on the rigging to do as well. Great ship till now!
  3. Ships have my vote! I just love sailing ships! I'm interested in land-things too of course but ships are just better.
  4. I'm in, but first I finish my video with YnyklY.
  5. Thanks CPT. Jr! I'm downloading it immediately, on my other pc where the game is installed somewhere. But as mentioned before, this topic does not really belong in the Lego pirate forum. Again, a great find CPT. Jr!
  6. Never seen a whale hunter before! It looks great, the whale too! It's even historic correct, the Dutch killed lots of whales in the north. Awesome MOC!
  7. I knew the myth about the non-horned helmets of the Vikings. It looks more heroic and terrefying then no horns, old stories from Denmark say Vikings made their own helmets. A kind of tradition, so it can be someone has ever worn a helmet with horns but the science proved they defenitely didn't wear horned helmets in battle. And that's what the Vikings did when they worn a helm. They did not have horns on the helmet, it's just to make the Vikings in stories look better and fiercer.
  8. Agreed, just make the bayonet a little bit taller and it will look awsome. Just like your minifigs with their very nice shako's.
  9. The ship is under construction and I will show it in a couple of weeks, when it is completely finished. I still see things which can be improved so I'm always working on it. Even when I thought it was finished. Thanks for the comments!
  10. Poor pirates...they must had a painful death. :pir-skull: But pirates will die anyway, if they don't get eaten by sharks then they get hung by the imperials.
  11. No thoughts at all at this moment, it just looks great. I only doubt if the blue coloured stern fits in the coloursheme of the rest of the ship.
  12. Looks great to me! Poor dwarf... :skull:
  13. Looks awesome! The bayonet could be longer indeed. I think it's very well attached to the gun so it won't fall off. The shako's looks great as well. Paint them and you're done, but I know it works different. Keep up the good work!
  14. Great site, not up in the Netherlands yet but it will come. They could show us some more pictures of the new sets.
  15. You ever heard a pirate weeping about smelly sails? I have to buy some smellless hand soap then.
  16. Looks great to me! The bell looks awesome but the MOC could use some details. Keep up the good work!
  17. No products icon visible for the Netherlands yet. If I cllick on the shop button the page gets an error. I think they are busy with it. I also saw the UK has it already but like you said it's not up yet.
  18. I voted for the Redbeard's Runner sails, they are realistic and full of gaps. The skull and sword pattern are a nice addition. I don't really believe they used bright coloured sails on ships in reality. But they fit perfectly on Lego ships. Actually, every sail colour looks pretty well but Redbeard's Runner's sails are the best. Capt. Kirk : No, there are no big black sails, perhaps some small ones but I think if you want a big black sail you have to make it yourself. There's a turtorial about making sails here
  19. Thanks for the info! I didn't know this, I tried to clean my sails with a wet cloth but it didn't work, and I was afraid damaging the sails by putting them in soapy water. Do you mind I use your way too?
  20. I couldn't decide between 1 and 6, I've voted for 6 after all but I see it's cramped. I'm sorry for my vote. But what was 2 about? Just a hallway with no walls?
  21. Not bad, not bad at all! You've done a nice job building this. Although, I think the wooden roof (stables I guess) is quite large if you see the castle. And what Sandy just said: the birds are huge as well. But it's still a nice creation!
  22. No doubt you have an idea where your MOC is going to be about now!
  23. a few more ideas: -fishmarket -governor's house -nice palmbeach -barracks -pirate treasure place -Imperial powdermagazine -merchant's house -rocky coastline -lighthouse More stuff like that! I hope this might help.
  24. I've voted for the CC, because it has quite much firepower for a tiny vessel like this and it's elegant style is nice. The Imperial Flagship is nice too, but it's not such a beauty as the CC. Thanks for the poll!
  25. If I can still sign up, then count me in as well. I'd like to build the bank. Thanks for this nice experience.
