  1. They are Netherlands scientists in the golden age, 1579-1672. There are a lot of paintings from that time.
  2. Can't wait for that. But don't you mean: "An important life lesson or reason"? I can be wrong at this but I just don't know what leason means.
  3. I like it, you've added a lot of awesome techniques in it. This ship isn't really my style but I really like the way you've build it. The photo-editing is great as well. The 'caged' center is my favorite part. Another great MOC from a great MOC expert!
  4. Looks great so far, but I prefer some close ups and larger pics. Experiment with your camera to take the best pictures. Take several pics about the same thing and pick the best one out. This is a very good program for resizing pictures. This might help as well. The only problem I have is the fact I have no camera specialized for nearby pics.
  5. Try avoiding double-posts by editing your previous one. By doing this your thread won't be bumped whitout reason. My crew have no nicknames.
  6. Thanks Mr. Phes.
  7. What a sad end... But that's the way we like it here! :pir-skull:
  8. Nothing in the Netherlands yet. But you're lucky!
  9. Is there a limit of people who may participate? Otherwise there will be a lot of people with a 'shipyard' rank. Just wondering.
  10. Hey, I know that painting. Some people in the Netherlands learn about the human body.
  11. That sounds like a great idea! It seems to be you have a lot of beer fun there!
  12. Captain Green Hair cleans the seas with his "La Mort Royale" and other ships. He'll even conquer the Eldorado Fortress so why not vote for him?
  13. The white one is in the Café Corner, an exclusive set from TLC, I own it and it contains some great pieces. There it is.
  14. Awesome! The hats are very cool. I can't wait till they are painted! Keep up the good work!
  15. Cool names and stories so far!
  16. I like it, a few additions would be nice but I like it this way.
  17. I like that funny lederhosen man.
  18. I've found some old Swedish uniforms around the period of 1700-1800. They look pretty nice I think. You should use the same colour epaulettes as the bands on the uniforms. Some prussian soldiers in the Napoleontic Wars. Not too bad. White, blue or red epaulettes would be nice on these. The torso you wanted to make, dark green with white epaulettes, could represent a Prussian officer. Some cavalry officers from the British army also had dark green torso's. Hope this might be useful for you and happy airbushing!!
  19. I love that! Great work at the Gatehouse, it has a nice roof and interior. The pictures with all your modules connected together look so cool. The city gets his shape!
  20. That's a movie. The Endeavour is a real ship, not the original but still a nice ship. Otherwise, try to find the Endeavour on the web, you'll get this one. Gosh, I want to visit it but it lies in Australia...
  21. The classic ones are so * ** :pir-skull: *** expensive these days. You might consider to buy some or wait till new Bluecoats! Sometimes you can buy a bunch of soldiers for a bargain, but since people know they are rare they won't sell them cheap. I recommend Germany and France to buy because they are sometimes quite *less expensive* then other countries.
  22. Looks great! Thanks for the pics about the doors. Nice technique used and the result is great. Well done.
  23. German or Prussia? Remember Germany was a bunch of tiny kingdoms with Prussia as main kingdom. Your torso looks almost the same as Prussian infantry. But I prefer custom made torso's because torso's made by TLC are hystorically not really accurate.
  24. Loads of nice parts to use I see, I'm ordering some bottles if I can find some. The silver bucket would be nice too. Thanks for the info!
  25. I just have to agree with that. The flag bearer is a very nice addition to the hill.
