This is so much better! You can defenitely see it's a galleon now and no modern cargoship anymore! Again, well done! I almost see no things which can be improved anymore.

Pillage the Village Contest - SMALL CATEGORY WINNERS!
Captain Blackmoor replied to SlyOwl's topic in Pirate MOCs
Congratulations to you all! You have made beautiful entries and it's always hard to pick the winners out those entries! You've done a great job all and I can't wait to know who has won the medium entry contest! -
Good. Remember you'll get a drink from me when you're finished! Would a frog die by drinking rum?

My French frigate L'Orient - Version 2
Captain Blackmoor replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
I knew it! Your ship look so familiar to me and now you say it, only the coloursheme is different. -
You can resize with Irfanview Image Editor, it's free to download and very handy because the results are very good.

You certainly had to! Your MOC is small but nice, but maybe it's a good idea to try make a custom dinghy. This is just a dinghy filled with barrels and goodies. Or perhaps you can make a small port with it? A smuggler's lair or something.

My first MOC - "The White Flag" - Caribbean Tavern
Captain Blackmoor replied to freakristall's topic in Pirate MOCs
It looks awesome for your first MOC! The idea, the structure and it's colours are just great. Just like Guss said it's a very peaceful MOC. That's quite unusual in the Pirate's world. Can't wait to see more of your creations! -
I've been searching the web for a galleon bow and I saw how you can improve it. Of course this is just an idea how to improve the bow, it is completely your ship and you may do what you want with it. You only have to lower the bow a few bricks and you're done. I have no idea how to work with LDD so I don't know if this is even possible.

I agree with Zorro about the pics, they are too large and it makes the post slow to load. I love your ship, it has everything what a real ship contains, like a kitchen in the bow, capstan, steering wheel and it's packed with details as well. I especially like the figurehead at the top of the bowsprit. Your stern looks great as well and the rigging is nicely done. Keep up the good work!

It's the navigator who has a pirate torso indeed. I'm currently making a lot of custom torso's and the navigator will get one as well. I've currently improved my navy by adding a new officer to the crew. I'll post some new pictures soon.

I have to wait before my Bricklink order arrives with the brown tiles for the roof. The staircase can be tiled and I shall make work of it. The minifigs should be no problem. Thanks for the comments!

I hope it's a nice village as well. Perhaps a good idea to read turtorials about deeplinking. Can't wait for the result!

Thanks! I'm planning to buy brown pieces because red isn't that nice on a grey building. I'm building more buildings right now and I hope you will like them as well.

I'm waiting for new bluecoats.

I believe the pirate forum is about Lego pirates, the age of sail and wars between 1600-1900 or something like that. Maybe you should browse some indexes, I believe almost every MOC is placed there. Bonaparte knows a lot about the indexes in the forum.

Thanks for the comments! I haven't that much brown pieces for the roof so I have to order them instead.

Non-military 10b I'd like to show you guys my latest MOC. It's a house which is part of my caribbean town, it may need some improvements so it's not really finished. The two floors and also the roof can be removed. The interior isn't tiled yet but I'm planning to buy some tiles to make it much more realistic. The furniture can be better but I'm working on it. Enjoy! This is the front view, I have something with parrots so I couldn't resist to place one on the lantern. A view from birdseye or parrotseye. Notice the nice ornaments. Those stairs give access to the first floor. There's a small storage room under the stairs. The interior needs some improvements like tiled floors and furniture. With adding more details the interior is getting cramped. Thanks for looking! Comments are ofcourse appreciated! Sorry for some bad pictures, unfortunately my camera has no macro function in it, so close up views are very blurry. I'm planning to buy a Logitech camera which makes excellent pictures from nearby.

It's getting better and better....where will end this?

Oh I didn't know that! Thanks. No doubt the shako isn't from the old fireman.

LEGO.com Official Pirates Page Has Appeared
Captain Blackmoor replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
*waits with patience* Maybe they have made some small video's about the pirate theme as well. -
I wish you a happy new year too! And I love the picture with the black cow. I also see you got a custom made torso and shako. I like it! But how do you make the custom shako? Do you just paint it or airbrush it or something else? It looks great this way.

It's truely a magnifiscient ship! The first ship MOC in 2009, isn't that to be proud of? I love the cabin, overloaded with details and a wonderful coloursheme. Everything is just splendid! Like you mentioned yourself: the anchor doesn't really fit with this ship. But that's the only flaw I can find. I had my 200th post on 1 Januari.

I like it! Nothing above a good bloody battle! :pir-skull: Perhaps a good idea to make a BS account so you can post more pictures in your post because the attachment system has only 100 kb. You can't upload more then 2 pics that way. Or you must resize them so small but that's your choice. Great MOC anyway!

The Black Seas Barracuda or Dark Shark
Captain Blackmoor replied to Barbaros's topic in LEGO Pirates
For so far I know the BSB has always been BSB in the Netherlands, I see the BSB has other names in other countries. Never know the BSB had different names! -
You defenitely need a Brickshelf or Flickr account to show us images indeed. And it's quickly done and free!
