  1. Now I know why the brown hulls were gone suddenly. Looks like a great order to me, but just like Captain Green Hair said: you need some masts on a ship as well.
  2. Another stunning part of the project! Awesome! Knight's quarters: I like the different beds and details, the knight is a nice touch. It's cool with the hallway attached. Stairwell: I like the way the supplies are transported all over the castle. I feel sad for the poor soldier who felt behind the staircase... :skull: By putting all modules together you'll get an awesome building. It would be so cool to see every module build till now, connected to eachother. Great work so far and I can't wait to see more modules!
  3. Exactly what I thought, I like it.
  4. Vig. 54b Once a week, a pirate will die. There are a lot of pirates in those waters, but the French manage to capture a lot of them. So what do you do with those scoundrels? Yup, that's right. Tie them up! The people of the French port suffer under the terrorism of pirates. To satisfy the citizens, the soldiers kill one pirate every week. The second reason is that the French prisons are crowded with pirates and they have to get rid of them. The citizens have heard the news another pirate will get tied up, and nobody wants to miss this event! Now everyone is shouting at the poor pirate, they're all waiting when the executioner will pull the lever. The drummer starts playing. The guards try to keep order around the execution. The pirate is watching all the people who wants him dead. When the pirate is dead, his body will hang on the gallows till the next pirate is on turn. The dead pirate's body will be dumped behind the bushes. As you can see, many pirates have been killed this way. Anyone has seen the parrot? My MOC's are never complete without a parrot in it. Your task is to find him! Thanks for watching! More pictures at Brickshelf when moderated.
  5. Absolutely fantastic! I love it! It looks like it's going very well with your project. I'm curious how this looks like when the new bricks are coloured! I've been watching this thread very closely and I see you've made a lot of improvements so far. That's why those looks so awesome. Now paint 'em!!! Great work!
  6. You don't want a parrot? How dare you! Parrots are the coolest animals ever! About the MOC: I like it and it is defenitely everything what a Captain needs. Although I don't know what the gold-horned thing on the table is. A trophy perhaps? Anyway, I like it and I have a few additions: A bottle of rum to fill that empty glass. A treasure map to find his treasure again when he buried it. A flintlock pistol to defend himself against furious parrots. The parrot could do with some food...
  7. I like your butcher very much, but the bedroom has a 'cold' looking. I think it's because the walls are white. But using another colour would ruin the coloursheme. Looking forward to your next project.
  8. A good roof technique is buying lots of these in brown or another colour which you like. Connect them all to a 'plate' and place it on the walls like Exotrator did here. Hope that helps. Of course you can tile the plates you use now.

  10. Nice work! I like the shop with the pieces of meat in the ice-filled crates. I also like the 'preparing' of meat in the back of the shop. The stairs have a nice wooden look. It won't be a pleasure to sleep in the bedroom above because the smell indeed. The bedroom could use some details to make it more cozy. Great work anyway!
  11. This is getting very interesting so far! I'll keep watching this thread from now on. The floor decorations and stained glass windows look awesome! Hopefully you make some updates soon! Great work so far!
  12. Looks great to me! No SNOT's have been used in it and such a nice fort. I want to have it!
  13. I like it very much, nice decorations on the walls and a pooling (!) table!! The tavern has a cozy and warm feeling, enough rum in stock behind the bar and a piano for the music. This tavern has what a real tavern also has. The only issue is like what you've mentioned too, the roof. Perhaps you could place some tiles on the roof to make it more realistic. Keep up the good work!
  14. I love it, you have Geisha as your avatar a long time already and I'm surprised to see her from close. Your sails are great and fit perfectly on this ship. You've put a realistic rigging on it, according on how a Schooner looks like. I'm also surprised you've build a ship on the small Armada Flagship hulls. They are narrow and it is hard to build another ship from it. Great job!
  15. I got one Redbeard Runner and a half-dismantled other one from Ebay. I like the box art on it and I wish I still had the original box. I like most of the Lego boxes because they contain lots of action.
  16. Ah, the battle of New Orleans, yes I saw it too. Before joining Eurobricks. Great movie and the stop motion is perfect. I would that guy made some more Lego Pirate movies.
  17. Great fortress! Not much SNOT's in it but still great. The cool thing is that this looks exactly like a set from 1989. Again, great fortress!
  18. Gosh...another great part of this great build!! It looks exactly like a tree. Smart idea to build a 'house' in it. But I think it's better to place the tree outside the city. It's a piece of nature and in a city there's almost no nature. But that's just my opinion, you're doing great!
  19. Great MOC, as always from you. I like how the small trolls "learn" about the knights ( where you can hit them for the best result?) Great work!
  20. I like it, especially the parrot looks great. That's because I like parrots. Nice build A creation is always nice when there are parrots in it. A build is not complete without parrots!!
  21. Can't wait till the next update. Good thing is to learn a lot about a ship so you know what to build. Are your sails going to be from cloth, paper or something else? And are you going to do some real-rope-rigging like Captain Green Hair does? I'm curious!
  22. Great use of a hard-to-customize plate! I also love the hammock. Great techniques. Very nice MOC!
  23. Nice addition to the Soldier's Fort. I like the fact it looks almost exactly like the Imperial Trading Post. Love the new colours used in it. Great work!
  24. Soldiers always have a miserable life, let them have some fun before they'll get send to the battlefield and die... :pir-skull: Serious, a nice MOC and not bad photo quality. Unfortunately some good parts of the pics are censured...
  25. We had a nice discussion about this here. It is an interesting subject with lots of opinions.
