Whahaha, very funny! I noticed the transculent pole for the second time I saw this funny build. The way you let the human 'fly' is great. The idea is very original and funny as well. But... I love carrots! ( and parrots )

The Kingdom of Norabando: The People's Destiny
Captain Blackmoor replied to Graynar's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Awesome comic, I'd like to see another "episode". Keep it up! -
I'm very interested in French history and this is really cool. Every aspect of history is in it! I love the revolution and WW 1 vignettes the most. Great work! 500 posts! Yay!

That's very helpful! I have to think about some names for persons, pubs and French ships. It's rather difficult. Thanks for your help on this.

The Amsterdam in Amsterdam is a very neat ship too. I've been there with YnyklY and it was awesome, I'm sure I have to go there another time. The H.M.S. Victory is at my "Wishlist" too. Perhaps a good idea to visit the H.M.S. Warrior there too.

Signature-Figure goes on a Journey in the Snow
Captain Blackmoor replied to Scouty's topic in Pirate MOCs
I like it, the first picture is the best, with the footprints behind the minifig. Great work. The picture when he falls from the hill is hilarious. -
I like it. The house himself, it's interior, the 'story' behind it...it's cool. The only thing I would do different is the door. But the MOC is great anyway!
-
I have to agree with that. The poop deck could be used to store small cannons but a steering wheel gives much more playability to the ship. And if the steering wheel was located on the quarter deck in Lego ships it would be very cramped and difficult to put minifigs behind it.

IF TLC releases bigger ships then the SES or BSB I think it would be an exclusive set. The nice thing on exclusive sets is they are always amazingly detailed and contain a lot of useful bricks. Big ships are difficult to build so the recommended age will be 16+ if it is a really large ship. I'm still waiting till TLC will do something like this.

Hard choice between the cutlass and the musket. Okay then, the musket. I like the musket because I like firepower, the pistol is not really realistic ( it's huuge ) so I voted for the musket. I love big armies of Imperial guards/soldiers carrying muskets.
-
I like it, the story as well. :pir-skull: I also like the ketchup ( or isn't it? ) used for blood, the snow is great too. Can't wait to see more.

You DIDN'T buy some? I still don't understand why there's no pirate for sale in the Netherlands yet... If there is a set I immediately try to get it!

Ah, I can see the pictures, our MOC doesn't look bad! Great job on the walls and the interior. The landscape outside is nice too. Great job!

Marines for my upcoming English ship of the line!
Captain Blackmoor replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
It might be a good idea to post some WIP pictures too, although I understand you won't spoil the surprise! -

[COMIC] "Kings And Queens Of The Sea" - Episodes
Captain Blackmoor replied to Dreamweb's topic in Pirate MOCs
Man that's awesome and unique! I like it! It takes some time to read everything but I've enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next episode!! -
She looks evil and is a perfet pirate female in my opinion. Of course there are a lot of female pirates but this one goes fine as well.

Looks interesting. Looking forward to your MOC!

How many Redbeards do you have?
Captain Blackmoor replied to Blackheart Brit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I use the torso's for semi-military persons like navigators, diplomats, royal guards and spies because of their chique uniforms. -
Port Augustine & La Formidable, both WIP
Captain Blackmoor replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Pirate MOCs
Some updates! I've been working on the docks this time, I haven't worked on the ship yet because I'm waiting for the last BL order. Some pictures of Port Augustine at this moment: The whole town till now, the two buildings at the left are the Colonial house and pub, the new building is the tan warehouse. A close up of the warehouse, as every building in this town, the roof can be removed. I need some doors with a curved top as finishing touch. The 'street' of the town. I've ordered more 1x1 tiles for the road. I'm working on a plank of wood to place under the baseplates to rise the town above sea level. A close up of the docks. Here you can see I need to rise the baseplates about 6 cm. ( about 2,5 inch ). I've added a water feature in front of the Governor's mansion. I have made some extra goodies as well. The lower part of the docks, where the scums live. Notice the man running after the rat which stole his last bit of food. I've tried to make a jungly area here too. At the other end of the town there will be a dense forest. I hope you like the small update! Comments appreciated! -
How many Redbeards do you have?
Captain Blackmoor replied to Blackheart Brit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I got 4 Redbeards as well. And now you say, I see I have more Redbeards then another pirate type. But I have more bluecoats though, but they aren't pirates right? -
I like it, the water, the landscape, the 'gold rush' idea... it's great.

Craghold Castle, a lengthy MOC (>1 year off/on)
Captain Blackmoor replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is amazing! Never seen a castle this high. The fact the whole castle is modular is awesome, it looks rather difficult to build something like this, avoiding less playability. I also really like the interior details. You've done a magnifiscient job on this! -
I love this! Thanks to the tan bricks you immediately get the feeling of being in the desert. I like the improvements to the roof and the interior is amazingly detailed. I also like the hidden treasure place behind the wall. Amazing job on this!

Team Beta Community Build MOC's
Captain Blackmoor replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Sweet! I love the dragon bones used for the roof. Really skelly. The flaming tree is well done too and I like the 'hellish and deadly' look on this MOC. Great job for the skeleton embassy! The guard's post module is very neat too! I love the stairs and the details everywhere. I like the apple tree on the roof too. The interior is small but cozy. Nice job!
