As far as builds go, what should I do next to Hoke to beef him up? Thinking of imbuing his shield with an Amethyst and maybe a Scroll of Confusion and Sealing. Want to spread out the immunities across multiple objects, so in case one gets old, I won't lose all the immunities when it's replaced or have to spend a ton to get it all reset. Thoughts?

After concluding his business with Haldor, Hoke notices Boomingham sneak over to a sleeping Thothwick. He decides to do the same. He hears Boomingham whisper to Thothwick. "Aye, and mayhaps you have a coin or two for me old man," Hoke says in a deep, menacing voice as he jabs a finger into Boomingham's side.

"Ahem. Would you care to conclude our transaction first?" Hoke asks with a raised eyebrow.

I am just pretending Hoke got all of that in BEFORE Jess showed up.

Hoke rubs his chin for a moment or two, mulling over Haldor's offer. He reaches into his pouch and hands Haldor 190 gold. "Many thanks my friend."

"That seems a fair price, but just to give you another option, care for anything in my collection?"

Hoke extends his hand out to Haldor. "How have you fared in your travels? Good to see you back in the hall. May I?" Hoke asks, pointing towards a trident.

Hoke saw the northman enter the Hall and head over to the raider. As he turned back to his seat, something in the pile of Haldor's gear caught his eye.

Hoke watched as Tesni finished up caring for her weapons. He looked up as a commotion began amongst a few fellows. "Such hot heads," Hoke mumbled to himself. He was surprised that the Hall was still standing with such ill and quick tempers contained within.

It acts like poison as it drains the affected target of HP each round.

Hoke listened intently to the stories of each blade. "Each of these weapons have been earned with honor, well, maybe except for the Wren blade," Hoke said with a wink. "We should join a quest together soon. I would so enjoy seeing you unleash the power in each of those weapons."

"Tis true," Hoke said with a shrug, "Mayhaps you can tell me the story of each of these fine weapons."

"Need any help?" Hoke asks.

I kinda like the idea that players sign up and either pick or are assigned another player to design a gift for. Of course all gifts would have to be approved by Sandy.

Hoke signs up for Quest #87.

Hoke settles back in big chair by the fireplace, enjoy the warm glow. He pulls out a large piece of decorated fabric from his pack. It was the flag off of his latest weapon. He looks over the strange letters and symbols, unable to decipher their meaning. Maybe he could visit the library to solve that riddle, but that would have to wait for later. He stuffs the flag back into his pack and decides to leave it for now. That banner flew over a company of brigands, brutes and cowards. Hoke would not fight along side others under such a banner. He would have to find a new one soon.

Until then, time to start roleplaying that vow of silence thing...
